Even if she wasn't, it was so obvious that she would appear in the game one way or another. Given how she's one of the first things you think of when you combine Mario and space.
That said, it's nice to see her play a major role in something again that doesn't involve karts, sports, and parties. And as a villain no less!
With so many unanswered questions about titles that were absent along with it's heavy emphasis on farming games and RPGS...yeah, not their best if you ask me.
Definitely doesn't hold a handle to their February one, either.
It was a solid one, but I wouldn't necessarily call it their best one. Especially considering all the filler on farming sims and the absence of games like Advance Wars, Silksong, the rumored DK game, and many more.
Don't get me wrong, it REALLY delivered on the good stuff, but...it could've been better.
Considering that it's 70%-80% winter, I guess the remaining 20%-30% will be thrown in as little curveballs as to what to expect next year, which is fine. Regardless of what happens, I can't wait.
Whether or not this game is worth the price for having familiar content from previous games is totally up to you.
But I'll say this: at the end of the day, it at least gives you a whole lot to do compared to Mario Strikers Battle League. Which is why I will happily pay full-price price for this.
I would've chosen rock because it technically can't be defeated like with scissors cutting paper and rock breaking scissors. Covering a rock with paper does just that: cover it up, not destroy it.
...But I choose scissors because they look cool, haha.
Oh yeah, they're great. After beating the main plot, I usually pop in and out of the game to do some quests I've missed. Which is something I don't usually do unless I'm really invested.
Just as I thought, and I ain't mad, either. There's a lot of third-party stuff that we haven't heard news from in a while so I doubt this'll be a waste on time.
His definition of "huge new game announcements" are games that people will notice once and forget in a week. Sure, there have been a very few exceptions, but I doubt lightning will strike twice here.
But there is a very small part of me that would ABSOLUTELY love to be proven wrong, though.
Phew! Glad it reviewed well! Now I can actually buy it without having any regrets. Especially since I need something to tide me over until Kirby comes.
It's fine if it is. Last year's E3 left such a bad taste in my mouth that I wouldn't really care. Especially considering Nintendo gives us info dumps on that month anyway.
Hopefully, we'll hear about Omori. Read that it'll come to the Switch eventually, so I hope this will finally be the time they give us a date or something.

Re: Illumination's Super Mario Animated Movie Has An Official Release Date
Oh god, here we go. The thing that will determine it all. Although I honestly have very, very, VERY low expectations thanks to the studio behind this.

Re: Soapbox: 20 Years Later, Super Mario Sunshine Is Still The Best 3D Mario
Great game? Absolutely. Best 3D Mario ever? Absolutely not.

Re: The First Hands-On Impressions Of Sonic Frontiers Have Dropped
@Not_Soos I wholeheartedly agree. It was like them saying "Look forward to this already announced thing!" five seconds later ...Next!
Re: Geoff Keighley Urges Fans To 'Manage Expectations' For Summer Game Fest
Well, that officially seals it. This truly will be a waste of time now.
Re: Sonic Frontiers Gameplay Showcases A Pretty, But Sparse Open World
This...is a tech demo, right? Because everything just screams "early build" to me.
Hopefully they give us a story trailer someday that includes some bosses and whatever. Because so far, this is pretty concerning.

Re: Gallery: Check Out This Stunning Kirby Collection On The Series' 30th Anniversary
It's so beautiful. Everything just looks so properly organized accompanied by some brilliant pink filters.
It all truly does show how much someone loves this series.
Re: Talking Point: If Breath Of The Wild 2 Launched Alongside New Switch Hardware, Would You Upgrade?
Not unless they show off more games than just Zelda. Especially considering my Switch is still fully functional.
Re: Looks Like E3 2022 Is Officially Cancelled
After last year's E3, and as long as Nintendo does their thing as usual, I honestly couldn't care less.

Re: Feature: 29 Best 3DS eShop Games You Should Get Before They're Gone Forever

Trials and Tribulations, Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (mostly the sequel), and even though it's not on here, Miles Edgeworth Investigations 2.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Final Fighter Is... Kingdom Hearts' Sora!
Not a bad character to end on. Not my personal most wanted pick, but good for those that wanted it.
Re: Finally, Nintendo Officially Unveils The Switch OLED Model, The 'Switch Pro' We've Been Expecting
Eh, I'm fine with my current one. Good for those who really need it, though.
