A good time to pick up TTYD at a good price!

Well, first of all, for this to come to fruition it needs to:
A) exist in the first place
B) survive activision and Xbox’s recent fixation with cancelling things

I feel one of these two is somewhat more deserving than the other

When they say “physical sales” does that include the digital copy included in the switch 2 bundle?

I had a lovely time with it, it’s a good game. It definitely could and probably should be better, there are definitely areas that aren’t befitting of such a big franchise, but really, it’s still been a blast to play.
If they could get their act together and pull out all the stops for once, they’d probably have a shot at game of the year on their hands. Right now, not a chance. Still, pretty good

Well, dropping it right before Halloween, that makes sense

I give it a solid 8/10. Been playing the backside off it, it’s definitely a blast to play. Already got well over 30hrs into it.

Can’t give it a higher score because there are still those annoying shortcuts pokemon likes to take (I.e fading to black instead of animating your character pulling a lever comes to mind, come on guys, it can’t be that much effort to make)

I very much enjoyed the original, so to see that it’s even better is great news

Not the first time they’ve skipped a week after a big upload, they did that after uploading tears of the kingdom.

It gets the job done. It ain’t pretty to look at, but from personal experience, it’s a blast

In my opinion, this is the kind of soundtrack this app needs. A game that not too many people would have played but still has music that is worth hearing. The ninja and king fu themes in particular are ones of note.

Funnily enough, I was working on a Star Trek fan audio series called resurgence. Then this game was announced and we had to change the name

Considering an accessory is required to play, and the virtual boy library just doesn’t have many games that are screaming out “play me!” I don’t think it’s worth the price of admission. The headset is cool but far too expensive for what it is, and I can’t see myself getting much use out of it.

So “probably not” is the most accurate option for me!

I mean it’s EA, did you expect them to try?

@Scarftail I would guess that the switch ports are still available to purchase. Those other games you’ve mentioned aren’t, so in their mind, no point mentioning it.

@Suketoudara I imagine there reason they split Kirby up is because the switch 2 version has a new campaign, so they’ll release the rest after that comes out.

I think it a per game basis: some games are definitely art, some are absolutely just products.

Technically, every game is a product (because it’s something you purchase (unless it’s 100% free of course))

Some are works of art, but they’re still products, because someone has to produce them.
