Another thing against the steam deck… it’s not available in as many countries as the switch is.
I know the steam deck wasn’t available in say, Australia at launch. I still don’t know if it’s here yet or not

Well, even now they don’t always have a release every month, but even then it’s like just one month they miss usually in the first half of the year.
I think it is possible, but they will need to rely on some smaller titles and works from studio partners to keep up that consistency.

The switch 2 may have a good number of “big” releases to start with, as many of Nintendos main teams haven’t released much for a while, but once that wave is over they’ll need to rely on the smaller stuff. Stuff that people love but rarely make headlines outside of Nintendo fan circles

That’s the trouble with these lawsuits, you gotta be careful, it could backfire in your face. Happened to McDonald’s when they went after a restaurant in… Ireland? Wales? Can’t quite remember. Something to do with the term big Mack. And when Macdonalds lost, Burger King took full advantage at mocking them, to rather amusing effect.

On the other hand, Sega and Archie comics didn’t take a frivolous lawsuit seriously, and it cost them the use of certain characters and had to reboot their entire comic line.

@nocdaes on the bright side, they didn’t increase the switch price, which considering the inflation we’ve had since the switch launched, that’s the closest thing to the price being dropped without the price being dropped

I still feel we don’t really know much about it. The only thing the trailer revealed that wasn’t already leaked was Mario kart. How much will it cost? What battery life does it have? How powerful is it compared to the original? Why do you want to drag it out till April to tell us this kind of stuff? So many questions

My word, Mario and Luigi brother ship feels like a huge game by Mario and Luigi standards. I think it took a while to get going (a trend amongst the series) but it’s really finding its straps where I’m at
