What are you talking about? I never it was the worst thing and there was no lie in what I said. I said there was no excuse for it not to be running at 60fps, I say that on the fact that the PS3/360 HD port ran at 60fps.

And that it better run a solid 30fps, only to see Konami left a note to “excuse” potential frame rate drops.

Ain’t nothing wrong with wanting better, when they’ve done better in the past. I mean, I for one would not be impressed by a F-Zero GX port or new F-Zero game that didn’t run at 60fps either.

There’s really no reason why any version of any of these games should not be running at 60fps. But if they’re locking it in at 30fps, it better damn well not have any frame drops.

Edit: damn, I just read the fine print. They’re making excuses before they even release the games. 🤦‍♂️

Princess Peach: Showtime, Another Code Recollection and Unicorn Overlord are my most anticipated.

Tomb Raider trilogy remastered, WarioWare , Prince of Persia, Wartales and Eiyuden Chronicles look good too.

Everything else is a “meh”, “I’ll wait for a sale” or I’ll trade in.

No thanks. EarthSpark is simply terrible. Give me TF Devastation, War for/Fall of Cybertron, the Atari game based on TF Armada, TF Prime, even the Bayformers games over any transformers game based on the garbage that is EarthSpark.

I’ll go for Peachette, I like that they gave her a unique voice in MK Tour and I assume it’ll be used in MK8D, rather than using Peach’s voice like in NSMBUD.

The Another Code remake and Princess Peach Showtime were the standouts to me. The leaked "Donkey Kong and F-Zero games" were a bit of a disappointment, in that they weren’t full fledged DK or F-Zero games, but I’ll take ‘em. The Tomb Raider trilogy was nice, hoping for Legends, Underworld and the reboot trilogy to follow. And I don't much care for Paper Mario, it kinda took the wind out of the sails of a ship that was already coasting.

But it was still surprisingly better than Sony's direct.

I liked this announcement. I hope a TR Legends trilogy and reboot trilogy are on the way, even if for the Switch successor.

Now this one was neat, though I thought for sure that Dixie Kong would be there alongside Diddy and Funky Kong. Happy about Pauline and Peachette though.

It’s a shame these guys will get stung by the new Unity engine dilemma.

Silksong maybe delayed further, thanks to the fact it uses the Unity engine. A tough call, but I’d be switching engines.

Next they’ll announce the Saints Row reboot for Switch.

It seems Nintendo are handling Martinet as a “Mario Ambassador” the same way they’re handling Miyamoto as a “creative fellow”, not off the books with Nintendo, but not fully hands on anymore.

So they Atlus gives the Switch this instead of the P3 remake, (not to mention Soul Hackers 2)...

Would love to see a dedicated studio to start making new Nintendo Sports games the likes of Wave Race, 1080 Snowboarding, Excite-bike and Pilot Wings.

As for F-Zero, make a new or GX remake/remaster, add Samus as a playable racer.

I know they making a new Princess Peach game, but they could make a “Super Princess Sisters” with Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, Toadette and Pauline. Plenty of female antagonists in the Mario series to choose from as well, or make a new female antagonist who’s after Mario the same way Bowser is always after Peach.

After the results of what was Agents of Mayhem and the Saints Row reboot, I don’t think it was a hard decision at all.

Looks pretty good. I wish/hope more WH40K games come to the Switch, especially Space Marine.

Good to see it runs well and we didn't get another GTA Trilogy DE disaster, but I'll wait for the physical or a good sale. Got a few games I can trade in to significantly drop that price.
Now if they don't want to bring GTA 5 to the Switch, I'd happily take a GTA 4 port for $40AUD at most.

Not for that asking price, $60AUD. I'll wait and see how it reviews and for a sale first.

I loved Divinity: Original Sin 2, and I'm sure I'll like BG3 as well and I hope the game will eventually make its way to Nintendo next-gen console, seeing as BG3 is compatible with the Steam Deck.

But what I'm finding strange are the BG3 reviews, as I find it hard to believe that "everyone" likes this style of game. Where are the reviews from people who "just don't get it"? Strangely absent?

That said I would like it if TotK or BG3 would win GotY. I'd also love it if Hogwarts Legacy (which oddly isn't apart of the poll, considering the impact it made upon release, more so than some of the choices. And it's a Switch title as well com November) would win GotY, for reasons.

But right now, I'm waiting for Space Marine 2 and hoping for a Space Marine remaster on Switch. But yes, this year turned out a lot better than expected.

I’d rather see FF Explorers be remastered on Switch with online multiplayer. Just one of many 3DS games with wasted potential.

Samus Returns remaster, Super Metroid remake or Metroid 6 would be most excellent.

With that in mind, it’s BG3 currently with a Metacritic score of 97 with only 18 reviews, while TotK has a Metacritic score of 96 with 145 reviews. That’s quite a large margin and wouldn’t take much for BG3 to drop a couple marks off its MC score.

That said, I love Divinity:OS2 on Switch and BG3 is Steam Deck verified. So fingers crossed for a version for Nintendo’s next-gen console.

As $70 is the new $60, $50 is the new $40. “Commercially accurate” indeed.

It’s not surprising, “Gaming fans” are some of the most self-entitled people out there. Though after the “definitive GTA trilogy” I’ll be waiting till after launch.

This is good, but fingers crossed for Quake 3 Arena.

While I think there’s a high chance Metroid Prime 4 will be a launch/near launch title, I don’t think it’ll be the “hook title” for their next-gen console.
Mario or Zelda is always a safe/best bet for a good console launch for Nintendo.

Hasn’t happened to me. But I have purchased the 3DS remake of DQVIII and received DQVII instead, I already had DQVII.

A full remake of Golden Sun, with gameplay like DQ11.
A new F-Zero that’s simply more fast paced racing like GX, that also has Samus as a playable racer and online multiplayer.
And just a new 1080, WaveRace and Excite-bike.

Okay, now confirm the commitment to CoD on Nintendo consoles deal.

At the very least, Dread and Super should switch places. Other than that, I’m good with most of the top 20. Though I do like TotK more than BotW.

F-Zero GX will always be better than F-Zero X.

Yeah, I think the numbers already speak for themselves. Especially since TotK at #1, came out a month ago, compared to this month’s FFXVI.

But that’s what Square Enix gets for not releasing FFXVI as a multi-platform title.
In saying that, the FF exclusivity deal has inadvertently helped the MS/ABK acquisition go ahead, which now has CoD coming back to Nintendo consoles, so thanks for that SE.

After how badly the FTC screwed what little of a case they had, the CMA have got nothing. CoD is coming back to Nintendo.

Just a port/remaster of F-Zero GX with online multiplayer is all I ask.

Please have a better design for Sheeva, something closer to her MK9 design would be nice.
