Hope y’all wished list this game. It’s like Halo 2 meets Halo 3.

It used to be a great franchise not all that long ago. Now? Yeah, not so much.

Considering the type of controversy Stella Blade received from certain “gAMes JouRNaLisTs”, I’m glad to see it at the top of the charts and hope it continues for a while.

Just wish it was on PC so I could support too.
Though, it’s a shame about the lying and censorship.

Strange that NLife still hasn’t talked about the dialogue change in Paper Mario:TTYD yet.

FYI, they changed the dialogue where in the OG game Goombella gets catcalled.

An update that “inadvertently” but specifically removed content that is typically disapproved by “modern devs & tourists”. But oh no, it was a mistake, but only when it gets called out.

Such is the fragile nature of the “modern gamer”.

You guys should and need to criticise the bad localisation in games more.

It could have done some good for the Metroid series by simply being exposed to a larger audience, I know I would have given Fortnite some attention if Samus was there, but you do you Nintendo.

There are far worse things than Samus being in Fortnite, and if the latest Pokemon GO! update is anything to go off, said “worse things” may not be too far away.

But NLife still isn’t going to talk about the ridiculous Pokémon GO! update, right?

@smithyo Agreed. It always starts small. Eventually they’ll take and change everything till it’s unrecognisable, usually going for the worse.

I’d prefer New Vegas over 3 or 4, but I’d be happy with any of them on the Switch or its successor.

I guess The Outer Worlds is the closest thing we’ll get to a Fallout game on Switch. Fallout Shelters don’t count.

It’s a damn shame hearing how CD plan to kill this franchise.

I really wish SE would remaster FF Explorers with online multiplayer. Just another good game, wasting away on the 3DS.
But FF XII is my favourite FF game, with the Tactics games closely following, loved The War of the Lions on PSP, though I still need to play a few more of them, planning on finishing VI and jumping into IX.

In other news, the emulator SUYU has been hit with a DMCA from Nintendo and has been removed from GitLab. lol

Meh, had a couple of glitches here and there, sensitivity in BF2 is kinda rubbish. But I’ve been having a blast with these games, with a couple of good online matches. I still find these games to be better than EA’s offerings in the gameplay department, so I hope they end up becoming a lot more solid in the end.

They used the old Peach design on the game cover and the new Peach design on the cup.

Finally seeing an older Ash would be cool to see.

The only truly surprising part of all this is how quickly it all went down, from lawsuit announcement to case settlement.

Maybe they can work with Nintendo now and remake a dormant IP or two. Star Fox Adventures or Wario World could be cool.

After all that time, buying up devs and IPs, only for it to all fall apart now.

But if there was anything I’d like to see Nintendo benefit from this, is that they’d get their hands on the TimeSplitters IP. It’s pretty much the only FPS I want.

Interesting, the AAA companies are dying and the indies devs are thriving.

For one thing, digital games should be cheaper than physical. And they should already be refundable globally.

The biggest take away for me is the fact that it’s a 2025 release. So likely a next-gen release, but also the fact that it’ll likely have more development time than past titles.

Hoping for the best here.

Interesting that they’ve used RotS characters.

The Psychonauts games seem like a no-brainer. Still dumbfounded they never put the games on a Nintendo console.

There’s only like 5 more Rareware games of “value” left for Nintendo to get. That being Conker, Perfect Dark, Banjo Tooie, Killer Instinct Gold and one that even MS will never get their hands on Diddy Kong Racing.
Just a matter of time, imo.

I prefer the Tomb Raider Trilogy that consists of Legends, Anniversary & Underworld, more than even the latest TR reboot games.

Though it was kinda nice to see concept art of the newest TR game looking more like the OG design, though unfortunately lacking certain assets.

Personally don’t care for NFL, as it’s not my country’s sport, and not nearly as exciting as they make it out to be in the movies. But I would have like to of seen the Blood Bowl games on Switch.
BB3 was announced, never released but never cancelled afaik, but was a pretty mediocre game in the end. A port of BB2 would have been nice.

Sonic Superstars suffered because of a bad release date and bad pricing.

It’s the best I’ve seen PS do in Japan since the WiiU days.

We should already have all Nintendo 1st party games on each NSO “app” by now and moved on to GameCube, Wii and DS “apps”. It’s kinda ridiculous how long it has taken , for so little to be available.

I wanna see these games remade, in a similar vein as DQXI, along with Golden Sun Dark Dawn and a sequel to follow.

Yes, Nintendo knows how to use the internet and is much more aware of copyright laws than keyboard warriors.

Completely agree, unfortunately we’ll likely be waiting till the February direct before they shut up about it.

@axelhander never said they were going after the devs. But just for clarity, my saying that they were “fine with the base game” i.e. they haven’t found any wrongdoing and the fact that they know copyright laws better than any keyboard warrior.

And in this case, like many others, Nintendo have every right to go after people using their IPs. And unless they actually find something “wrong” with the base game, I doubt that they’ll go after it.

Another clear case of FAFO. Nintendo & Pokemon Co. were fine with the base game, but people just had to push it.

You can barely even call it subtle.

There’s already been a leak that it’s happening in February.

This just makes me want ports/remasters of the America McGee’s Alice games and Haunting Ground.

Love these games. But man do I want them to be remade. Remade as 3D game, with the gameplay style similar to DQXI

They could handle it like the Steam Deck and release multiple versions with different storage spaces. But at a minimum, I think 256GB console storage, with the ability to add on, is reasonable.

Most of it is on Netflix, plus that new claymation show, which is actually quite good.
