Emulation for a current and fully-available console is unreasonable and is clearly just for piracy. I can understand emulation for older unavailable devices, but this is just ridiculous, with equally ridiculous reasoning from its defenders.

I buy physical copies of games I'd like to keep for as long as I like, so unless I can be assured of perpetual ownership and downloadability of a digital game (steep condition, I know), a digital-only game market doesn't appeal to me.

It's this availability limitation that admittedly pushes me towards piracy at the end of a digital game shop's lifespan. Unsavory, but if that's the last resort to get a copy of a purely digital game then so be it.

You know what's even better than overpriced printed paper? VIRTUAL overpriced printed paper!

Never was a fan of this TMNT series, same as my kids (who refer to it bluntly as "ugly Ninja Turtles"). And after Shredder's Revenge, any other TMNT beat-'em-up not in the same style is dead to me. I wouldn't enjoy it and my kids (who would be a major reason why I'd get it) won't even touch it.

Here's hoping a sequel or further expansion to Shredder's Revenge (or even a non-TMNT series using the same style) would be created.

The young and the gullible are their sales demographic. The parents are to blame for the former if they're not restricting their child's purchases, while the latter only have themselves to blame.

Shovelware game publishers are scum, but the above people share part of the fault here.

The demo was quite enjoyable, but this'll have to wait as my budget has already been set for Unicorn Overlord.

Went on a nostalgia trip this weekend and played the Final Fantasy VI pixel remaster. Also tried some eShop demos and immensely enjoyed Unicorn Overlord. Can't wait for its release now. Looks like I've found my next physical purchase.

Infernax has been fun but its final dungeon is stressing me out, so good thing I also have Snowrunner and the Final Fantasy VI pixel remaster to calm me down.

I used to be the market for this, and it does look rather neat, but I'm now at the age when I no longer see the point nor need to impress others with my capability to buy overpriced molded/sculpted plastic.

Dead Cells will survive. For goodness' sake, people are still playing the original Super Mario Bros. despite lack of continued support.

Sure, blame the economy and development costs, because other, more stellar games never have to worry about those.

I'm a big fan of both the Fate and Musou/Warriors franchises, but this one didn't do it for me when I played the demo. Not sure why though.

After a bit of playing, just selling off just some of my collected monster parts was already enough to get me a good supply of rupees. I get lacking materials, but I don't get people not having enough rupees for stuff in TOTK.

But of course this guy's a hero to some.

I sometimes buy digital, sometimes physical, depending on how much I value a game. I'd like to continue doing that, having a choice with what I get to own.

What Ubisoft is suggesting here is straight up Orwellian, and it's sad that they either don't seem to realize it, or they do but don't care.

It seems good enough to wish that it doesn't cross any legal boundaries. I look forward to this game being very expansive and having more of its own identity come next year.

This is just a more complicated version of the NES Blaster Master grenade exploit.

Tried out some discounted games this weekend, namely the Castlevania anniversary and Advance collections, and Worms W.M.D. for a dose of nostalgia (played a lot of Armageddon way back then).

Besides those I've been playing lots of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge with my four-year-old and three-your-old, who recently learned the basic controls. Brings me back to the old days, when I too was just learning to play.

I'm guessing the availability of Music Pass songs are different depending on the game region? I have an Asian copy of Rhythm Festival (which still has English-language support) that I bought along with a TaTaCon back in November and the Music Pass already had Plastic Love and the rest of the above list (except for the new releases).

The human element can never be fully replicated by AI. This will be ideal on a smaller scale, I suppose, but we all know that's not SE's intention.
