Re: Best Nintendo Switch Horror Games

"Deep into that darkness peering. Long I stood there. Wondering. Fearing. Doubting."

Eternal Darkness was so ahead of it's time. Best horror have I ever played. And I don't even like the genre usually.

Also, if you put Dark Souls on the list you might as well put Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak on the list. It has a vampire dragon.

I'll be blunt here. Various Daylife is a port of mobile game and you can really tell.
Sure it has no microtransactions but everything from user interface to sound effects to bland dialogue to tutorial popups just screams phone game. You know what I mean.

Re: Talking Point: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom DLC - What Would You Have Liked To See?

As a boomer I think it’s inceedibly sad that this news spawned 5000 videos and articles about how there’s no dlc and they phrase it like ”we’re missing content” or ”the game is incomplete” etc.
No!! Nintendo released a finished, done, complete product. That should be commended, not questioned!
We’re not missing content, we got what we payed for. Something that is getting rarer and rarer these days.
No dlc is a good thing, not a bad thing!

Re: Poll: Mario & Sonic Face Off On Switch This October - Whose Corner Are You In?

Tough choice. One comes from a first party developor famous for releasing stable, fun, 98% bug free products.
And the other is Sonic.
When was the last time we had a stable Sonic game at launch? 2017?
Like I said, tough choice.

Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer a kick-ash Sonic game over a Mario game. It's just that...there's only a good Sonic game once per decade, you know?

Re: Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator

The best cooking simulator I've ever played!

Recepies are complex with many steps but controls and UI are simple so it balences out difficulty wise. Recepies are based on real life techniques. If you know that pasta should go in pre-boiled water with a bit of salt you already know how to cook pasta in-game too. It starts simple and slowly ramps up so the difficulty curve is smooth.

One thing to note is that the clock in the game is always running. Meaning you can't try things out in "Free-mode" indefinitely or something like that. It's not a big problem. The game gives you A LOT of free time to learn new recepies and customize your kitchen. But it's not unlimited time and you also need time to prep dishes before opening too. In the end it's not very stressful and I thought Stardew Valley's days were stressful.

Runs very well on Switch. Text is on the smaller side so Lite players might struggle. (it's bigger than Two Point Campus's font tho).

I had a ton of fun playing this! I highly recommend it!

And there goes any hope of this series coming back. Sush a shame.
It should have had more pvp support like online rankings and room hosting for online. It could have found a new audience if streamers could easily challenge viewers. Not a big auidence, but still.
At €60 and barely any online features it was doomed to flop outside it's fan-base.
