I’ll be honest, I would have preferred it in HD2D like Triangle Strategy. So this is a bittersweet remake for me.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is such a masterpiece! Reminds me a tiny bit of Mario n Luigi Superstar Saga, Infinity Blade and Shadow Hearts.
It has such unique mature writing I’ve not seen in an rpg before. I mean the party members are in their 30s.
The world feels very dark and somber. Similar to how Soul Sacrifice made me feel.

I’ll be honest. Switch was my main console up til last year then I bought a Steam Deck and that has raised the bar so high for me now.
If Switch2 is worse than Steam Deck it’s going to be a tough sell.
Nintendo waited a year too long.

Good! I’d rather have a finished game full of content than a rushed sloppy affair. Especially since this is a pretty niche series so there’s a potential this may be the last we see in the west.

Well, call me chocked and astounded.

Easily on my top 10 games I’ve ever played. Highly recommended if you like exploration, space, platforming or piecing together the story.
It’s also one of those games where the less you know about the game the better. This is a game you’ll remember for the rest of your life.

And Atlus just reminded me again to never buy a game on release and always wait a year a two.

I realize Deluxe or Ultimate Editions is not a new concept. I’m just saying you won’t catch me buying P6 on release that’s for sure.

I don’t understand the appeal of this game. What is the point? Why would I invite my friend to explore together? Wouldn’t that just shorten the game because we’ll catalogue everything faster?

And this coming from someone who loved Journey, Abzu and Sky: Children of light. So I’m not new to relaxing exploration games. But this one seems…empty? Or maybe overpriced is the correct term. 50 bucks is a tough sell.

Sending wrongful youtube reports with malicious intent should be classified as harassment and illigal.
At the very least it should be seen as against youtubes TOS and earn you a ban.

Considering I’ve heard of people playing Switch games on PC for years now I’m surprised it took them this long.

Don’t get me wrong - I’m for emulators and roms, when the system is discontinued. Wii, WiiU, 3DS, DS, GBA etc. Totally fine imo and should in fact be made legal in favor of game preservation.

If a studio ain’t making money on the product anymore it should be available to the public. At least until the video-game industry figures out a way to preserve our game libraries.

AAA nowadays usually means full-price + as much microtransactions as we can cram in.

I love this roster and I wish we could keep it but I'm not very hopeful that will happen.
Honestly if we could get the exact same roster with a "Subspace Emissary" story and maybe the online party mode like in ARMS where you jump from battle to battle in a small hub that would be enough for me.
Maybe get rid of spirits and add trophies back in instead.

I dunno. I just want to keep Pyra/Mythra, Wolf, Sephiroth, Sora, King K Rool and Banjo I'm 80% sure they can't negotiate that one more time.
