This was a good event but I wish we could have recieved diy for the furnitures. It's gonna take up a lot of space in storage if you want to save every colour.
I disagree. The grind helps me shut off my brain and relax. Playing Monsster Hunter or Disgaea or Stardew Valley while listening to a podcast is the ideal way to play for me.
So I prefer the grind. I played a %# miner in EVE Online. There is nothing more brain dead than that and I loved it so much!
Good. That clears that up. This GUARANTEES there's no Switch Pro this year. Absolutely no chance Nintendo makes a special edition Switch that 90% of Japan would want only to then release a better console version 6-9 months later. Zero chance unless Nintendo doesn't give a f about Japan. And they do.
The thing to remember is that Capcom makes Monster Hunter demos for veterans to try out the new features. It's never designed or a good introduction for new players. Trust me, the tutorials in the full game will be A LOT better.
If you want to try out the demo go ahead. Just be aware that you'll have to youtube for the in-depth weapon tutorials..
Amazing! And like he said in the end, Nintendo could EASILY make a Mario Kart patch for it to detect the Ringcon and Legstrap running inputs. I bet it could be done in a week of programming if even that.
I base my purchases on youtube let's players. I watch 1 or 2 episodes and decide if I want to play it myself or if it isn't for me.
Secondly I wait for a sale. My backlog is crazy and if I can save 5 bucks I will.
Thirdly I SOMETIMES go by publisher in the eshop. For example I loved Oxenfree. I saw they also made a game called Afterparty when I clicked their tab. So I bought it. Same with Spiritfarer and Jotun. But these "chance purchases" are rare and far between. I usually youtube a game before I buy.
I never check demos, Metacritic and top sellers charts tab.
If you are not covered on SwitchWatch, SwitchCorner, 8 bit Eric, SwitchUp, RGT 85, Spawnwave, Stumpt, 4 hit Combo etc etc I probably will never hear about your game unless you become a indie top seller on Steam.
Sees Yakuza Like a Dragon
Yes please!
Also it will NEVER happen.
If Sega doesn't want to port Persona 3,4,5 to Switch why the h*** would they try to port a more technically difficult game?
This is a hidden gem if you like music games. The song selection is REALLY good and if you know anything about harmonics and can keep a rythm you can create professional sounding mixes very easily. I had one hiccup in my 15 hour playthrough so far so obviously they've patched that since this review. This is the most fun I've had with a music game since Rock Band! I'd give it 10/10 for excellent track list, beginner friendly, fun campaign and good network code in online play. But...you can't export your creations on Switch currently. Which is a real bummer. So it's a 8.5/10. Highly recommended but maybe on another platform unless portability isn't a main feature for you.
I'm also grinding through Monster Sanctuary and having a chill time leveling up my mons.
And last I've decided to fire up Ring Fit again for the first time in months. I saw NyanCave stream it yesterday and that got me motivated to continue through the story mode.
@MarkMahzes I understand where you're coming from but my counter arguement is 1) it isn't a free mobile game. It's a fully priced game. If Fire Emblem and Xenoblade 1 and 2 can be voiced then so can Pokemon.
2) Even if they didn't want to voice every character in the game they could have at least voiced the cutscenes. Zelda did it.
I know I'm just whining at this point. My point is Sword and Shield is a HUGE let down. At least for me. And I really wanted to like it.
I'm fine with this. As long as we can travel backwads in case we missed an event. And I only think that option is fair in case I or someone else has to send in their Switch for repair.
I'd be fine if Mr Resetti came out to chew time travellers out too. ^^
This is the best update thus far!
I'm really excited for more storage, random dreams and new hairstyles.
All I want now is multicrafting and multi NMT printing and The Roost coffee shop.

Re: Will You Be Clearing Up Some Space For The Switch Version Of Apex Legends?
I don't really like br games so no.
Re: Capcom Reveals The Most Used Weapon In The Monster Hunter Rise Demo
The demos for Monster Hunter are more a sneak-peak for veterans than an actual traditional demo.
If Pokémon had a demo similar to Monster Hunter it would be of a late-game gym and nothing else.
There are lot stuff that aren't explained and it's not a good representation of what the game cycle is like.
Re: BioWare's Project Director Would "Love" To See The Mass Effect Legendary Edition On Nintendo Switch
Fans: We want Mass Effect Trilogy and Persona 5 on Switch NOW!!!!
EA and Atlus: So what you're telling me is you want another Fifa 18 and Persona Warriors.
Re: Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack Is Coming To Nintendo Switch This April
I hated the time limit. I didn't know Ryza had any? I'll def pick that up if true.
Re: BioWare's Project Director Would "Love" To See The Mass Effect Legendary Edition On Nintendo Switch
@8itmap_k1d I know that feeling. Same with Persona 5.
Re: BioWare's Project Director Would "Love" To See The Mass Effect Legendary Edition On Nintendo Switch
We all need and deserve Garrus in handheld mode in bed.
Re: Ring Fit Adventure Might Be The Best-Selling New JRPG Of This Generation
No, that's not true. That's impossible!!!

Nice! I was hoping it would. Combat and reclassing was very fun in this game.

Oh really? They aren't going to leave the stuttering every 1 second in? Who would have thought.

@Mr-Fuggles777 I'm guessing money. Also PS4 games are way cheaper than PS5 games.

Exactly the same marketplace.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Christmas Toy Day Event & Gift Guide - Jingle's Magic Bag And Toy Day Set
I hope future events will be more challenging. Turkey day, May day and the wedding month has been the only three so far. This was waaay too easy.
Re: What Are Your Most-Played Switch Games This Year? Find Out With Nintendo's Year In Review
Ok, I'm jealous now. (EU)
Re: Stardew Valley's 1.5 Update Will Feature A New Beach Farm
I'm so hyped for splitscreen which will be included in this update.
Re: Japanese Charts: Momotaro Dentetsu Fends Off Cyberpunk 2077 As Switch Sales Rise Yet Again
Ah, well nothing to specia...wait a minute! Animal Crossing is over 6 million now!? In 9 months.
Re: Nintendo Kicks Off Huge Festive Sale, Over 900 Switch Games Discounted (Europe)
Wow, Fuser at 30% off. I guess I made the right choice to wait one month.
Re: Surprise! Among Us Is Getting Sus On Switch Later Today
I only have two game friends so not for me. I'm happy others are stoked tho.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 12th)
Still playing Animal Crossing daily.
I'm also grinding through Monster Sanctuary and having a chill time leveling up my mons.

Re: Poll: What's The Best Switch Game Of 2020? It's Time To Rate Your Favourites
I'm already sad that Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin will probably be ranked lower than it deserves.
My picks for 2020 is Animal Crossing, Xenoblade Chronicles DE and Spiritfarer.
Re: The Next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Will Be Revealed During The Game Awards
It's Crash. I dom't want it to be but it is.
Re: Next Patch For Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remaster Scheduled For Later This Month
Still can't journey on a caravan together so who cares?
Fix that first maybe?
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Focus On Younger Players Is A Positive, Not A Negative
I disagree. A lot of Nintendo's games would be better if they would implement a Hard mode or be less hand holdy.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Character Designer Celebrates Third Anniversary With Some New Artwork
My favorite game this decade and the only rpg I've done a full New Game + run of.
Re: Poll: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & The Blade Of Light Is Out Today, Are You Getting It?
I'm not buying it because of two reasons:
1. I'm already paying for NSO. It should have been free through that service. How much work can it really be to translate a game?
2. I just don't care enough. I'd rather play a modern srpg like Three Houses or XCom 2, Wargroove or Disgaea. It's just not for me.
Re: Community: Found A Great Game On Switch eShop? Send Us Your Recommendations
Cook Serve Deliscios 2 and 3.
Super fun in two player co-op! Feels like a Cooking Mama speedrun.
Re: Wallace And Gromit Studio Aardman Is Teaming Up With Bandai Namco To Create Brand New IP
Has anyone ever mentioned how Luigi's Mansion looks like Wallice and Gromit? Look at Luigi in LM3!
I hope they aim for that.
Re: Review: Empire of Sin - A Criminal Waste Of A Superb Premise
Oof! That's a shame.
Buy XCom 2, Phantom Doctrine and Hard West guys. Excellent games with similar gameplay.
Re: Random: The NSO Icon On The Switch Home Menu Is Driving Some Users Crazy
It is very ugly and ruins the balance of the homescreen, yes.
Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield's Gloria Has Finally Been Given A Voice, And It's (Very) British
Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield's Gloria Has Finally Been Given A Voice, And It's (Very) British
I'd just like to point out a free mobile phone game got voice acting before a $60 ($90 with dlc) console game.
Someone had to say it.
Re: New Restrictions Placed On Time Travel In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
I'm fine with this. As long as we can travel backwads in case we missed an event. And I only think that option is fair in case I or someone else has to send in their Switch for repair.
I'd be fine if Mr Resetti came out to chew time travellers out too. ^^
