I don't like how the kids are overlaid onto a background for the Japanese art. It's very jarring to look at for me.

I love collector's editions. I even like the quirkier ones. This is dumb. Cassettes?! Really?!? Some serious hipster bait in this one.

One of my biggest wants is Wind Waker (and it's kin, Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass) for my Switch or Switch 2.

I did NOT remember the WiiU having that stacked of a launch!

I remember obsessing over console specs back in the N64/Dreamcast/PS2 days, but now I just care about cool games running smoothly.

This is one that I skipped over during my jrpg collection days. Not sure why, I was buying everything I could in those days.

Honestly, this review didn't really do much to convince me to go ahead and pick it up.

Yes, absolutely I do. I was more than a little disappointed that it was coming to their subscription service instead.

Honestly, part of why I shun (for the most part) digital entertainment is that it isn't cheaper, generally, than physical media when it should be considerably cheaper. Profit margins are way higher on digitally delivered goods than physical items.

And with the current push to "not own" these entertainment items, I want to have complete control of my library.

This is very interesting to me. I assumed the Switch would just be beefier hardware, but really the same "tech". To hear it's completely different is wild to me. Hopefully this "hybrid emulation" approach pans out. I was looking forward to some games running better simply due to more advanced versions of what the OG Switch already had, similar to upgrading a PC.

I honestly don't care what the "asking price" is, or whether someone other than me is willing to pay it. It's a very rare occasion for me to pay "full price" for any game. Almost all games are cheaper later.

I'm sure I'll pass on this one just like I have every other Xbox. Microsoft is still the evil empire and doesn't need my money.

At the time, I felt like the Switch was gimmicky and an unknown quantity. The wii U and 3ds had failed to impress, so I was only vaguely interested in what Nintendo would do next to bury themselves.

Now I know better.

I think I'm more hyped for this launch than any console since the Dreamcast.

IX is one of my favorites from the mainline series. I only hope that if they do something, they don't screw it up.

As per usual, I hope to see Ogre Battle (any and all) remakes, Wind Waker trilogy remaster and perhaps some Castlevania 64 love.

Contrarily, the visual design is about the only thing I do like so far. If it were more life-sim and less cooking-sim, I think it could be perfect (I get it, the hobbits are about food). Perhaps it will do well enough that we can get an underground Dwarf life-sim

I can see a June launch, as a matter a fact, I've been expecting it. I can't however, under any circumstance, believe there will be NO 3rd party support at launch. That's ludicrous.

Completely forgot this existed. Not a big loss to the gaming community as a whole, I think.

My patience and lack of tolerance for Square's shenanigans regarding the physical release of the Switch Pixel Remasters paid off and I scored a physical copy for 55$. There's nothing there I don't have on one or more systems, but having all 6 in one place is nice. Considering moving them to next in my queue for a replay.

I don't know about the "grail" status of this item. But I bet 28k is rather low.

I agree, but at the time, Lucasfilm wasn't really doing much with Star Wars. Certainly not as much as they could have. It probably hadn't made 6B$ in the previous 4 years, or even previous 15 years.

I (quite litterally, like 10 minutes ago) just put Tears of the Kingdom away because I just couldn't get into it. However, I adored Breath of the Wild and spent hours upon hours farming it's secrets.

I suppose if I were to have only one Switch game, Breath of the Wild would be it.

Gonna go against the grain and say that this was one of thoes games that I played and just didn't get the hype. Love the art though!

That's the thing, what happened in the 30-60 seconds prior to this video that led to the video? Obviously the dude in the Eagles garb was being a pri** here, but what happened before that? He was obviously signaling to someone that something happened before he got all crazy.

My copy is supposed to deliver Monday. As I've already played through the PS1 versions, I'll probably only boot these up to give them a glance and then shelve them until a more opportune time to fully enjoy them.

The "acquisition kicks" are what put all of these companies in the position they are in.
Nintendo is smarter than that.

My Suikoden order is set to arrive the 10th. I'm pretty excited to play both again.

While there is MtG Arena for digital, Magic exists mainly as a physical card game.

I got back into MtG with the LotR set. Been pretty excited for this one since it was first announced.

I, too, am combating scalpers by not buying one at launch.

The premise sounds delightfully bizzare, but the execution seems to be a bit of a miss. Still, I may have to give this one a try.
