Finally pulled the trigger on Generations Ultimate.

I've been checking the NA Nintendo store several times every day since the UK store had a restock several weeks ago. Eventually they'll be there.

I absolutely adored Star Ocean 2 on my PS1, and I'd pick up an "enhanced" (or whatever) Switch version for sure.

That visual style gives me all kinds of nostalgic feels. Will keep both eyes on this one.

Aside from the lame quote, I love the simple NA cover. Less is more sometimes.

@Cashews Dennis Mckiernan's Middle Earth-derivative works are, imo, excellent. There is a history between he and Tolkien's estate I won't get into.

Love wierd west stuff. Had my eye on this one, so I'm glad to see it coming to the Switch.

My totally tin-foil-hat theory is that they held off on the next generation announcement so they could double dip TotK.

The shear amount of drool dripping from that review makes me think it's more of a 12/10.

Lists are always highly subjective, even if 300 people combine to make one. This one reads like it was put together by 300 people who've only been playing video games for the last decade or so.

I miss the golden age of paper strategy guides and hardbound collector's editions of them.

I did the same thing to myself in Diablo 2 many years ago. After hundreds and hundreds of hours farming drops, I decided to use a character editor to get the set pieces that would never drop for me. Maxed out my sorceress while I was at it. Played less than a handful of hours after that.

I'd gladly be part of that number if Square had realized that more than 18 people wanted a physical release.

Can't wait! FM3 is still one of my favorite srpgs of all time, but I've never had the opportunity to play 2.

I find myself very interested in this; however, I must wonder:
1. Is there / will there be a physical release?
2. Will these issues get patched up eventually?

@Expa0 Mystic Quest is one of very few games I ever traded away. Still regret that decision...

SNES Final Fantasy II (IV). And since I'm a hoarder, my copy is still complete in box after all these years.

I remember really enjoying FFV on the PS1, but my save game got corrupted as I was preparing for the final boss. I have the GBA version, but it never made it out of the backlog. I'm really looking forward to FFV the most.
Haven't played VI since it was III on the Snes, but I really want to revisit it as well.
IV was the first JRPG to reel me in, and will always have a special place in my heart.
The others are intriguing in this state as well, but I don't know how much of a hurry I'll get on them, especially after the physical release debacle.

I had never watched that BotW trailer until now. Wow! I'm excited for TotK, but that BotW trailer was epic!

Backwards from what I was anticipating. I figured the islands would be a big mystery, and we'd have to spend time figuring out how they got there so we could get there.

That really got my blood pumping! Super-hyoed now!

I was having a blast, running around, seeing stuff, gathering up cool weapons. Then one day I said to myself "why don't I go ahead and beat Gannon?". I did so and then had no desire to go back to my other, previously fun, things.
I'm not sure what happened...

Of the weird junk they've been offering with this release, this was perhaps the coolest.

I think I have the original (unplayed), but I know I have the soundtrack. Hiroshima Sakimoto's compositions still get me excited.

Sometimes, when I play a game, I think to myself "I want more of this!". This feels like more of BotW, and I'm ok with that.

I remember the original reveal captivating me. Looking forward to setting sail.

I think I'll grab the demo. My PS2 copy hasn't yet made it out of my backlog...

I didn't care about Amiibos until I found out I could get cool stuff in BotW. But the only one I own is the one for Skyward Sword, I love the look of it.
(If the rumored restock is accurate, I'll probably pick up a few more for BotW and TotK)

One thing Nintendo has always proven is that they do what they want, metrics be damned.
Everyone is switching to optical media: N does carts still.
Everyone is doing standard optical media, N does proprietary mini discs.
Everyone is doing fancy analog/digital controllers, N does motion control.
Everybody goes with more powerful versions of what has worked, N goes low-power hybrid.

I feel like a Switch 2 is a money-printing press. N won't surprise me by abandoning what is successful.

The review and the pro-con list make me think you meant 10/10.
While I always appreciate more of a good thing, I also appreciate it when developers don't limit themselves to sticking with an exact formula, even a great one.
