I have and have played them both on my ps1, but I'm pretty excited to go at them again. They left a mark on me, so good!

November is so far away, but not as far as March for Suikoden.

Pretty cool, but I already have these and a working DS. Or 2, maybe.

Once again (/sigh) hoping for Ogre Battle remasters/remakes. All of them.

I love a good beat-em-up, and I'm really looking forward to this one. Never played it.

I love the statue and the little Chaos, but too rich for my blood.

Also, here I am. Never had an issue with LRG.

Man, I'm getting old. I remember telling my co-workers back in the PS1 days that my newest RPG was a 40 hour(!) game. That's nothing these day, and unfortunately as I've gotten older I don't have the time for these. But I keep buying them, hoping for slower days to come.

Once upon a time, my (not yet) wife would come over and read a book on my lap while I played FFIX. Those were the days.

Or, and just hear me out for a minute, they could go back to the days when the main set was interesting and not just fodder for a set of ultra-high-end-premium "chase" cards that are one per box, if not case, or less.

this has nothing to do with Pokémon or TCGs in general (that's another can of worms)

That's some pretty interesting timing on my part. Yesterday I deleted my Play-Asia bookmark for it and I deleted the Amazon listing from my wish-list. I had given up on obtaining a copy and nearly gave in on the digital sale.

Perhaps I'll give the "second print" a look in October.

I never finished the first one, but sure, I'd like to see a new one.

The photo with the caption "Must be revolutionary. But also exactly the same" really sums up what we, in general, expect.

It still amazes me that they felt like they would lose /less money canceling the projects than finishing them. They must have been some real stinkers.

@Vyacheslav333 They were probably waiting on sales of the home arcade cabinet to cool off to a certain point before offering the console version. Or maybe they made a deal with the cabinet maker to wait a certain amount of time.

I'm really liking this trend of remastering/remaking the old SW games. As others have said, holding out hope that someone will pick up Shadows of the Empire, Rouge Squadron/Leader and especially a complete version of Dark Forces 2.

I've accepted that this is the "new normal" with video game pricing. Doesn't mean I'll pay it, I can judge pricing case-by-case also, but I've accepted msrp increases.

I have vague recollections of greatly desiring to play this game, but having trouble forcing my PC to run it without crashing.

I finally pulled the trigger on Dark Forces while it was on sale. I figured I'd double-dip if they ever got around to dropping a physical copy, and oh my! what a physical it is!

I really want to go for the highest tier if I can swing it in my entertainment budget.

Still cautiously optimistic, but this is the second hands-on I've read today, and I'm not thrilled with the Cooking Mama game-focus. I was hoping for more life-in-the-shire, but so far, everyone is focusing on the cooking aspect. I get it, Hobbits et al, but surely there is more to do than cook and find things to cook.

I actually want referring to the world being open, but the puzzles and how you can solve them. I think there technically may be many ways to advance, but one or two will always be "optimal".

My overall thought was that this Direct showed that we certainly are at the end of the Switch life cycle.

Sure, there were a few good things for just about anybody to be excited about, but nothing truly mindblowing. Remakes, re-issues, and recycles, but not the ones I'd hoped for. Although, that Capcom collection really got my attention!

The more I watch the Zelda reveal, the less I think it'll be anything more than "this is the right way to advance here" gameplay. It might seem open, but I think it may be an illusion.

Metroid 4 isn't a bad swan-song, I suppose.

Highlight of the Direct for me. I've been waiting and hoping for this release since the home cabinet was released a while back.

I was midly excited about the III remake, but adding in I and II seals it for me.

I'm all over this!

I love a good beat 'em up, but I don't love those pixels. Still, looks fun.

Still hoping for Ogre Battle remakes.

I have a wall of shelves in the basement. My wife keeps her "fancy" sets (cactus, flowers, birds,) on top of the piano.

As a Lego fanatic, I'm highly excited for this. Not necessarily what I expected from a Zelda Lego set, but I think I'm gonna have to get it.

Yes, absolutely! If they make the reveal before the holiday, they risk potential sales of the "soon-to-be-outdated" hardware, as well as "old" software.

Edit: I personally expect a Feb reveal for a July release.

Basically, it seems to me anyway, Embracer was made up of a bunch of investment bankers who were buying up IPs to create a portfolio that they hoped was worth more than the sum of its parts with the intention of selling said portfolio for mega-profits.

Gamble didn't pay off and now they're scrambling to make anything they can from a fire sale.

I continue to hope (especially now, with the success of Unicorn Overlord) that we'll get remakes of March of the Black Queen, Person of Lordly Caliber and maybe even Prince of Zenobia.
