@anoyonmus I'm assuming it's a time zone thing. This time of day rarely has updates (its loke 1am in the UK). They just posted the MGS article, so I assume the Castlevania article is being written and will soon be uploaded.
Man, I still love D2. Played waaayy too many hours over the years and multiple PCs (plus a little on Switch). One of my absolute favorites, but that's too steep a price.
Interesting, I dont find much to fault either one with, other than maybe a cropping issue with the NA one. But the JP cover has an ominous vibe to it that I like, so I went with that one.
@Nick2054 We use alcohol wipes to clean ours after every couple of prints. Our printer also came with a "glue" that we apply to the plate to make sure the first pass sticks well
Those are pretty fantastic! I'll be bookmarking this so I can come back for ideas.
My crafty wife wanted a 3d printer for Christmas, so I obliged. She loves it, and makes all kinds of cool trinkets and fidgets for the grandkids and their friends.
Haven't played it, but I applaud them for sticking to the vision and not (continuing) chasing trends during development. Could have ended up like Star Citizen.
At almost the same tender age (a mere 2 years prior to the beginning of your story), I asked my parents for either an NES or a Genesis for Christmas. Didn't matter which, just one or the other would be great!
I got an Atari 7800...
I hate to be /that/ kid, but it didn't see nearly as much play as your gift. But I still have it, perhaps your story will inspire a new tradition for me?
@Yosher Unfortunately, no, they dont think about anything but making a buck. Just like most people running around this world right now, "As long as I get mine, who cares?" seems to be the world mantra right now.
I think it'll be interesting to see how this one shakes out over the coming weeks. Sounds like they made some pretty drastic formula changes, which I can appreciate. But devs on series such as these are often in a no-win situation: more of the same = bad, stray too far away from more of the same = bad.
Hopefully the game gets a fair, "reviewed in a vacuum" shake.
I completely geek-out every time one of these videos drops. The cosmic side of Marvel was fantastic during the Annihilation sagas and then the 90's cartoon aesthetic is brilliant!

Re: Are Diablo 4 And Diablo 2 Coming To Switch 2? Blizzard Stays Silent
A Switch 2 version of D4 would probably convince me to buy it. I've been a big Diablo fan since the beginning, but I have yet to try out 4.
Re: Diablo II: Resurrected Announces New 'Warlock' Class, And It's Available Today

Re: Oblivion, Skyrim And Fallout Switch 2 Physicals Will All Be Code-In-A-Box, Bethesda Confirms
I really expected the Switch 2 to be my first digital-only console, but a physical Indy has me hoping I can stay physical a little while longer.
Re: Square Enix's Gorgeous HD-2D Zelda-Like 'The Adventures Of Elliot' Launches This June
Looks great, seems like it will be fun, but I'll definitely have to turn those voices off. The voice acting in that video is absolutely atrocious!
Re: Indiana Jones Cracks His Whip On Switch 2 On 12th May 2026
This is the Switch 2 announcement I've been waiting for! My wife got me the PC collector's edition for Christmas, its pretty epic.
Looks like I'll be getting that Switch 2 sooner rather than later.
Re: Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Announced For Tomorrow, 5th February 2026
Ogre Battle games, please and thanks.
Also, Dark Forces 2 and the Rogue games.
Ya, I seem to only care about remake/remasters these days.
Re: Talking Point: Where's Your Nintendo Labo Now?
Never got one. Forgot they were a thing. If I had, I'm a bit of a hoarder so it'd be on a shelf or in a tote in the basement.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Red Alarm (Virtual Boy)

I make lightsaber hilts...
Re: Random: This Fan Is Ripping Nintendo's Finest Tunes Onto Vinyl, Including The 3DS Menu Theme
I'm an audio snob. This is a waste of time and energy.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island
Both are equally terrible, but I like the composition of the JP one better.
Re: Switch 2 Remains The Fastest-Selling Console In The US At 4.4 Million Units
Juat waiting on a few more "must-haves" to add myself to that number.
Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Is Getting A Trio Of New amiibo
I was really hoping we'd eventually see a Mariophant...Eliphantario...?
I'll have to grab that one.
Re: Ubisoft Cancels 6 Games In Major Organisation Restructure
At least they didn't mention NFTs and Blockchain.
We really dodged that bullet!
So long, Ubi, you barely knew us...
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift (DS)
Never cared for the "brown bag" (so to speak) NA cover.
Re: Star Trek: Voyager - Across The Unknown Beams Onto Switch 2 Next Month
I originally read "integrated" as "intregal" and about lost it. Nevermind on that though.
As a Voyager fan, I'm glad to see the willingness to continue examining this part of Trek.
Cautiously optimistic.
Re: LEGO Pokémon Reveals First Sets, Launches February 2026
I love Lego and have shared that love with my grandkids. They will be bonkers over these!
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Mario Power Tennis (GameCube)
This is the first one I've really waffled on. Went with the Japanese cover...but just barely.
Re: Review: Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance (GameCube) - Aged & Easier Than You're Used To, But Still A Winner
Once everyone is done playing it online, can we have a cart for it pretty please?
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch 2's GameCube Library With Another Game
Excellent!
This and Radiant Dawn need non-online remakes.
Re: Poll: Which Call Of Duty Do You Want To See On Switch 2?
@metaphysician The CoD guys worked on some of the Early MoH games, I was being silly.
Re: Poll: Which Call Of Duty Do You Want To See On Switch 2?
No option for Medal of Honor?
Sorry, those were the last games of this type I played. GameCube, I think.
Re: Switch 2 Sales Reportedly Struggled Over The Christmas Period
I want one, but I want a better selection of games first. Indiana Jones would make me pull the trigger though.
Re: Final Fantasy Tactics: Ivalice Chronicles Dev Considering Future Game Updates
If its anything other than language support, I say leave it alone.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
People seem to like the tree-harvesting simulator.
Re: Opinion: I Reviewed 25 Switch 2 Games In 2025, And These Are My Top 3 Picks
@Grumblevolcano You certainly can grind, to an extent. The game scales with you, so its diminishing returns. Jobs and positioning are key.
Re: Nintendo Suggests Metroid Prime 4's Tortured Development Meant It Was "Divorced From The Changing Of Times"
Haven't played it, but I applaud them for sticking to the vision and not (continuing) chasing trends during development. Could have ended up like Star Citizen.

Probably not.

That is all.

AI in the entertainment industry is the robotics in the factories 40 years ago.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Ice Climber
(I want to make a seal-clubbing joke here, but its too early and I'm not funny enough to pull it off off)
NA pixel art for me.
Re: Hollow Knight: Silksong Expansion Coming 2026, Hollow Knight: Switch 2 Edition Also Announced
I think the only question on everyone's mind is "how difficult will it be?".
😋
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Mega Man 6
Goofy face aside, I prefer the composition of the NA box to the cluttered-ness of the JP one.
Re: Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic Announced, But Will It Skip Switch 2?
Absolutely floored when this hit my news feed last night. Definitely keeping an eye on this.
Re: Netflix "Didn't Attribute Any Value" To Warner Bros. Games In Acquisition Deal
Looks like they value WB games division as highly as I do.
Re: Surprise! 'Skyrim Anniversary Edition' Lands On Switch 2 Today
I cant help but chuckle to myself every time this game gets "another" release.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Metroid Prime Pinball
As a pinball aficionado, I like being able to see more of the table on the Japanese version.
Re: Netflix Enters Agreement To Buy Warner Bros. For $82 Billion, Includes Game Studios
I'm staggered that anyone values WB that highly! I get that they've got some useful IPs under their umbrella, but that is waaay too high.
Re: 'Starsand Island' Is Getting A Switch 2 Version With Quality And Performance Modes
Starsand Island? Where have I heard a cozy-sim name similar to that before....?

Re: Feature: "Oh S**t, That's A Great Idea! Why Didn't We Think Of That Before?" - Marvel Cosmic Invasion Devs On Drafting The Ultimate Team
Yep, still geeking out! Great interview! Somebody needs to do a remake/remaster of Maximum Carnage.

Another Silksong article, more of the same back-and-forth difficulty arguments.
