Oh that’s smart. Nintendo is back to marketing Mario as a formative childhood memory. Same as the TV Show/cartoon/anime did for 80’s babies and kids. And this may get kids earlier as it marketed at language instruction for young children. Getting ready to grow that next batch of Nintendo lifers. My only issue is the product line is very boy/male focused. But not surprised.

It’s utterly terrifying how products shape our whole lives, but as an adult watching PBS getting gutted in my country, I understand how vital such things are.

Gotta pick up Holo Live’s Hanafuda.

Agreed it sucks that the games are being compared instead of taken for their own merit. Even worse due to the same devs as devs often get hit with the fanatic tsunami of “Make the same game cuz I like it! Wait why do you keep making the same game?! Wait why are you making something different than the game I know you for?!”

Just play the game. And enjoy it (or not) on its own merits.

For me I don’t think I have played a game like bananza. It reminds me of the freedom of builder games like minecraft (I don’t play that genre so this is a surface feeling) but the destructive power of Hulk ultimate destruction while having this really affable charm that keeps me invested as the two games I just mentioned this reminds me of would have me running for the hills. Yet that doesn’t sound right because it just feels like its own thing. I am loving it.

Totally looking forward to experiencing this game. been on a VN kick lately.

That is cool! Didn’t know that happened. I love the expressions DK makes. Nintendo loves using character body language as a HUD and it is always fun. Probably why I don’t get lost in general in nintendo adventure games. Meanwhile in other games I am wandering around lost as heck (Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy is a recent offender).

Shippers are so odd. Who cares? That doesn’t make the karts go faster or stomp more goombas. Bad enough Bowser is a whole arse stalker. So creepy.

Well I wont get my hopes up until MS makes announcements but I would buy/double dip on any TES games (except online) or starfield. Same with age of mythology.

the devs already said they designed the game to allow for that so just looks like folks are enjoying the freedom given.

I will wait to see if it gets patched again. (since I have it already on series x)

Nothing wrong with that. I think folks forget there are millions of gamers but billions of people on the planet. Cool that he wants to try the body of work he was in. It is fun watching actors watch their own movies because it’s obvious that either they are focused on doing the role or often have no idea how the finished product comes together and its fun to see that delight (for some mild embarrassment) and awe that is different from the standard viewer.
