Surely a trailer for Dragon Quest XII? It’s been a couple of years since it was first announced and nothing has been shared so far.

Anyone agree that development time for AAA games is getting ridiculous?…no wonder indie games are crushing it at the moment.

I would buy this day 1 for sure. The Final Fantasy I’m most looking forward to playing is Final Fantasy Rebirth and the one I’m most hopeful gets a switch 2 release is Final Fantasy XVI.

Nintendo need to come hard in 2026. I understand that this year it was about releasing the new console and that took precedent, but there are no excuses for 2026. Bring the games Nintendo!

1. Metroid Prime 4
2. Hyrule Warriors
3. Mario Kart World

It’s still early days in Switch 2 but if Mario Kart World receives DLC over the coming years, I predict it will go on to be the best selling game for Switch 2 by a country mile.

P.S Kirby Air Riders was to chaotic in my humble opinion and I felt overwhelmed when playing the trial so I didn’t pick it up.

I’m really annoyed about this. I bought the Switch 1 version not knowing it had a Switch 2 version. Ubisoft should release an upgrade patch for owners of Switch 2.

Well done to all who got it for that dirt cheap price and a big thanks to CD Projext Red for letting them keep it at that price. The more people who play this masterpiece the better.

Personally I’m happy to have paid £40 and having the cart as the game is huge and I need to save space on my SD card 👍

Looks great, Yakuza 3 is one of the best Yakuza games for sure, already preordered this one.

I don’t really care for Avatar but I would like to see some big hitters next year for Switch 2. We’re is Doom the Dark Ages, Diablo 4, Expedition 33, GTA 5, Tekken 8, Ninja Gaiden 4, Metaphor Refantazio etc? C’mon Nintendo, start announcing some big games. 2026 is looking a little lightweight.

Great interview but I got to the end wondering why Mr Norman didn’t ask about a Switch 2 upgrade for Doom and Doom Eternal 😭 Both games are crying out for an upgrade.

Can someone please ask Bethesda or I.D Software if they will upgrade the Doom games for Nintendo Switch 2!!

Juggling storage space is becoming a game in itself. Hopefully SD express cards will start to drop in price over the next few years. I would like a 1TB card but the prices are a bit steep at the moment.

Hades 2 should win game of the year. Indie game of the year should go to Absolum. Publisher of the year should be Devolver Digital.

Nier definitely needs to be updated and please Nintendo, get in touch with ID Software and ask them to update Doom and Doom Eternal for Switch 2. I would pay cash money for graphical upgrades on both games.

It’s confusing because Nintendo are not really a direct competitor to Microsoft, Sony are but Microsoft continue to release games for PlayStation? Sea of Thieves, Ninja Gaiden 4, Halo, Killer Instinct, Hi Fi Rush, Forza, COD and Gears would sell so well on Nintendo, I don’t know why Microsoft are taking their time, don’t they need money or something?

I’m a little disappointed, the game looks and plays fantastic but there is tons of stuff going on and it’s overwhelming. City Trial feels chaotic and it’s so fast I can barely control my machine to even gather items. Braking is actually difficult when so much is going on. I’m going to pass on this one I’m afraid, I hope it does well though. I might pick it up on sale next year.

Side-note: The water level is beautiful and it made me think how good a new Wave Rave would look on Switch 2.

Panic Button would be great choice, they were able to port Doom and Doom Eternal to Switch 1 which was a phenomenal achievement and shows just how talented they are, please ID Software can we get a Switch 2 upgrade for both games??

@HugoGED They just released the new Pokémon game with day 1 DLC, MKW feels a little underwhelming considering they are charging £80 for it. It’s needs at least a roadmap of some sort.

Mario Kart World really needs a huge DLC update, I don’t understand why they are taking so long? Maybe they are waiting for Kirby Racers to release then we will hear something?

I was due to purchase it as I had pre-ordered the Eshop version, but because Nintendo refused to refund me for a game I purchased and did not enjoy, I cancelled my pre order and all my other pre orders. The game I wanted a refund for cost £28 (Double Dragon) and because of Nintendo’s DISGRACEFUL anti consumer stance when it comes to Eshop refunds, I cancelled pre orders including Hyrule Warriors that were valued at about £300ish, so well done Nintendo…

Microsoft is dragging their feet with Switch 2. Sea of Thieves, Halo Master Chief Collection, Call of Duty, Forza Horizon, HI-FI Rush, Ninja Gaiden 4, Gears of War, Age of Empires etc they would sell millions on Switch 2, if they need money then bring the dam games out.

Excellent news, take your time guys, no need to rush it out, make it run perfect. My wallet cannot handle all these games coming out anyway!

I don’t understand why Kirby Racers is getting so much coverage while Mario Kart World, the best selling game for Switch 2 continues to receive NO CONTENT.

I have pre ordered Kirby Racers, it looks fun, but I would definitely like to see a Mario Kart World roadmap in this direct, just show us what we can expect to see in MK World going forward into 2026.

Microsoft…What are you doing? We’re is Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi rush, Halo and Forza for Switch 2? And yes, I would buy all those games and Ninja Gaiden 4 on day 1 FULL PRICE. Don’t you want to make money Microsoft?

I have bought both, Absolum should be in contention for GOTY, it’s so addictive in co-op mode. Ball x Pit is also superb, just not played as much due to Absolum being so great and taking most of my gaming time.

Congratulations to all the developers who worked on both games. I hope both games sell millions.

I’m so tempted by this but at £55 it’s price is putting me off. I want to support Atlus but man £55! I don’t know guys, if it was £40 it would be a day 1…
