@thesilverbrick Note they said that certain areas would be affected, and not all places. EMS from Japan has been shut down to pretty much everywhere, which is the cheapest plus fastest shipping so that's out right now. Likely if you're in the US or the UK they'll do a bulk ship via FedEx/DHL to save money and have a small distributor ship from there (or they should.) Other places they won't be able to reach even with that method, such as Romania, who are totally shut down. Or they're hedging their bets EMS starts again in June and they'll try to fire them all out as quick as possible, but even still they can't be responsible if some countries are still locked down.
Retail has likely been on a shipping container on the ocean for a month and a half, and that container left China and not Japan, and when it reaches the shore that's going to third party distributors for Target/Walmart/etc... to be shipped to stores. That's a slow but proven consistent method. Depending on a lot of factors it might work out retail gets them first and it really is all because of the 'rona. Otherwise they would have easily EMS'ed them out to the world all May and would have beat retail.

@Ulysses I really don't think it's that crazy. Clearly Nintendo doesn't want to go for that split in exclusive's between sku's like what happened with the two games made specially for the New 3DS, I think proper scaling for something more powerful makes sense. The Witcher 3 already does that well on every other device.

I prefer the term Metroid-like for two reasons. 1) It's three syllables instead of five so it's easier to say. 2) This isn't an entry in the Castlevania series therefore the use of "vania" is wrong.

I wish I could get excited for this DLC but the game gives me no incentive to play it. It's the worst sort of grinding, hours can go by and you won't make any progress at all. It's worse than most grind-fest pay-to-win iphone games and you don't even get the option of skipping the line. I'm a caretaker for my Mom, I don't have 200+ hours to grind away at the same three boring Trials just to attempt to unlock a new character or costume. What this game really needs is a download that completely changes the game engine to something that is actually fun to play.

I won't touch this game. It was never properly developed for the Switch and no amount of patching will fix something that fundamentally broken.

Ghostbusters wasn't a very good game anyway.

Still won't fix the fact they didn't attempt to target the hardware correctly in the first place...

@retro_player_22 Given the problems the game has a few simple fixes will not improve it to an 8. I’d give it a four personally. And any fix putting it at an 8 would require they redo the engine correct. They obviously pulled an “import ps4 code”, cut features/framerate/effects until runs, ship it.

That Demo entirely killed my enthusiasm for the game. I'm not even going to bother anymore.

I don't even care about this game, really, but M2 puts so much effort into their releases I find myself wanting to pay for their stuff simply so they'll have reason to continue making things that might be of interest to me.

I don't know. It doesn't look like there's much to the gameplay to me. I'm concerned it will get old fast.

Know what's funny, I hated both Monster Hunter and Dark Souls but really enjoyed Dragons Dogma back on my 360.

XIII had great graphics, a fairly interesting story but pretty forgettable gameplay, partly due to pretty lame level design. These guys will have to step up their game.

@Sabrewing I agree, I saw it and thought if it was only the combat portion of the game then it isn't worth it. 3 gets flak but that wasn't because of a Gameplay issue. it simply didn't have the story elements anymore. Realistically 2 was a one and done sort of thing.

@Sabrewing The original Star Control was only ship battles. Star Control II is what introduced all of the exploration and RPG mechanics.

I was really excited for this game but I don’t like how it feels at all. There’s no weight to your mech and simultaneously you doesn’t feel swift either. You literally feel like a floating reticle and that’s it.

I do not like this art style at all.

@sandman89 Yeah man, I just bought one of the Hori L-controllers with the proper D-Pads. Suddenly every fighting game became incredibly more fun in handheld mode. A straight up official Nintendo D-Pad would be ideal for me.

I only played the first one, didn't know there was a second. But I really enjoyed the first and would buy another if they made it.

I still don't understand the idea Oddjob was a cheat. His head was lined up with your guns without you having to adjust up or down. He was the easiest character to headshot in the entire effing game.

Unfortunately the placement of the D-Pad makes the primary reason most of us would want it still not useful, fighting games on the go.

My problem was not that I wanted to play Sonic on a D-pad, my problem is next to an arcade stick the D-Pad is the best way to play Street Fighter or Samurai Showdown.

I've been stumping for Simon's inclusion since the Wii days. I hope that one is true. Simon isn't an odd pick at all. He's probably one of the most obvious picks since Nintendo has been adding in franchises outside of their own. Castlevania 1 and 2 on the NES, Super Castlevania IV on the SNES. Simon is Nintendo.
