@Daniel36 I did this entirely on my own at my house for myself. It was just me listening to how I felt and pushing the music to match where I needed to go. If things were too energetic or tiring I'd pull the tempo/style back to something more mid tempo. If I felt like things were getting a little tiring I'd switch to something with little to no beat as a break. If I was feeling pretty good about things I'd push the tempo/mood up to something faster and happier.

I don't think trying to play for a crowd is a good way to learn to manage yourself internally, there would be too many external factors and a lot of additional pressure. You're not playing for you anymore. There's a reason why a lot of professional DJ's become addicts of some variety.

@Sindayl Initial reports (from actual fighting game fans) have pegged SF6 as having better input latency than the XBox and PS, only being edged out by the PC. I realize it's two different companies doing development but that bodes well for the Switch 2 version doing better in that category.

@Daniel36 There really wasn't much to it. I tend to stick to genre's/styles that lend themselves to peaks and valleys (prog/deep/melodic house 120-130 bpm-ish.) And then just picturing maintaining a steady even rhythm and when you might want to get the crowd really amped up and when you might need to back off and give them a rest based on how I was feeling at the time. I have no evidence to backup my result but I think forcing myself to picture and then use music to regulate those different moods helped my body to reset itself because I don't have those crazy swings like I used to anymore.
