Japanese company Wright Flyer Studios has revealed that it is bringing its smartphone JRPG Another Eden: The Cat That Travels Through Space And Time to the Nintendo Switch.
The news was revealed during a live stream to mark the game's first birthday on iOS and Android.
No other details were given, so we don't know quite how the title's free-to-play mechanics will be altered for the eShop release. We also don't know if it's a straight port or if it has any enhancements over the phone version. The final question is one of localisation; Another Eden is only available in Japanese at present, so there's no assurance this will come to the west when it does eventually hit Switch.

Only £40
Do not like art-style or animation.
Not my cup.of tea.
This trailer had me googling the release date...
for Octopath Traveller.
I really had to learn to except that most mobile RPGs, especially Kemcos, just aren't for me.
They seem more interested in trying to emulate how one remembers playing older JRPGs without even considering why those games are praised to begin with.
With just the simplest of strategies, I could auto even bosses on hard mode in Reverant Saga.
But hey, if this turns out to be different, I'll check it out. But I'm not hopeful.
Seems like the story is by the same guy that did Chrono Trigger, so at least they have that going for them.
EDIT: okay, upon further research on the guy, I'm positively interested in the game, prejudice against mobile f2p be damned! His track record is just too impressive, having worked on the Chrono series, FF7, FF11, Mana series (from the 4th), Baten Kaitos to name the ones that really stand out!
Heard this is from Chrono Trigger creators wife, or that she's involved...
I'm keeping an eye on this one
@Pineapple_Mohawk I'm not usually one for mobile games either but if that's true...then hell yeah I'm in!
Is that the Atalanta summon at 0:23? Then again Atalanta doesn't have wings.
@retro_player_22 I swear that's the Uraya titan on XC2 in the video too.
Is it bad that as soon as I found out this had come out on iOS and Android first I completely lost any interest? (the long silly title as well)
I just can't see it having much depth.
Not enough in that trailer for me so i’ll keep an eye on this for more information. Love a good JRPG
...another mobile game
Switch needs a big AAA jrpg like ninokuni 2 / xenoblade in 2018... not more random mobile crap.
They need to start showing FE soon.

I guess travelling through space and time is a better power for a cat then hovering about four feet above the floor in a radio station bathroom.
Nintendo need to put a stopper on these blatant cash grabs. No more mobile games.
@Galenmereth I was interested until I heard it began as a free to play mobile game. YUCK!
HMMMM...Anyone know when that new Tales game is coming out?
Actually, after watching and listening to this earlier, I am definitely interested. The music for me was great...I love a good RPG soundtrack. I also didn't mind the moving around and combat aspects, either. I would certainly be interested in checking this out if it came over here to the US!
MOBILE. Mobile.... mobiiii.....mo.... zzzzzz
I'm curious...
The subtitles in the video killed me...
