Why can’t these companies use other companies that aren’t limited run it’s so hard to order from them, the shipping costs are a joke along with deciduous lead times.

Quite disappointed in this, real falls short …..not like Nintendo at all.

Why a bloody download code

I’m reading these numbers for wilds as a big issue. 8million on launch and a further 2million since is not great. Especially when it’s on all formats bar Nintendo

I remember when everyone bought second docks for the switch 1 and then had bricking issues with them. And other charging issues.

General consensus is it’s not up to Nintendo standards. And I see it’s priced accordingly. But as the 4th ground up release for the big N this game is a shocking disappointment.

When you buy a game from Nintendo website it’s listed as either a physical release or a digital release but key cards are listed as physical as well but the small print then says 50GB download.
This is quite misleading if you think you’re getting a full physical package which doesn’t require you to download the game. They should change that. So it’s physical, download or key card (requires game to be downloaded).

Probably upset Nintendo. So got pulled.

Still MHS3 was the best announcement for me!

I’m against key cards for many reasons, but mostly as it forces the storage ownership onto you. - you need to buy the storage to download the game which is an extra cost on top of the cost of the game.
If a third a party game can’t master compression like Nintendo then the 50-60Gb game is gonna cost an extra £10 in SD card storage for each game that size.
There will be a day when you can’t re download it and there will be a day when the storage fails or becomes corrupted.

Is there a definite list of updated and compatible switch games for the switch somewhere?

I’m betting the full game will outsell the key card.
But it will be a good way for Square to test the water

I can’t see it hitting 15m my guess is that they are at 7m as we read this, and they do have pokemon which should take them to 12m but post Xmas and zero games between January and March might mean it falls short.
Unless everyone goes crazy for one at Xmas, tho I’m not sure that will be the case thing are getting expensive out there!

Best announcement of the direct! And probably a March release so better start saving for a switch 2 as it doesn’t seem to be coming to switch 1 but I’m sure we will find out more in the months to come.

This is fundamentally a bolt on to help sell the camera. And to be fair rather than a £50 game with little content, I applaud the direction Nintendo have taken to create a bolt.
But maybe a better bundle would have been the game + bolt on + camera all at a £79.99 (original game price £40+upgrade code £10 + camera £30)

How hard is it to bundle a sensor bar with a gun game or gun game collection and have them all working with the ir and bar.

Would probably have had a better attach rate if it was a decent camera

Yeah it would be nice to get a global numbers update as I feel they have either fixed the launch stock issues or the switch 2 sales have dropped off a cliff. As I’m seeing NSW2 everywhere and even in secondhand shops.

A direct is needed. If they want to keep the momentum with switch 2 sales.
I’d be keen to know how it’s doing as I see stock everywhere and loads of switch owners just saying they have no interest in upgrade yet.

Yes it’s a combo of issues, the main being price point for games have now reduced the amount of title people will buy.
Bear in mind for many they have just forked out a ton on Nintendo hardware just a month ago.

Yes, I imagine now wilds is out the A team will start the ball rolling on a Switch title. Whilst the B team continues with the G rank expansion.
Tho I’m expecting a worlds port or a remaster before they announce a main stream title.
They could go down the route of World port followed by a wilds port which would bring the franchises together for future releases.

Drop the key cards and just give us physical or digital.
Fix the issues with the mark 1 and maybe someday I’ll invest in a NS2

I’m glad I didn’t go with the mark 1 as it’s got a lot of underlying issues which need to be resolved.
Overheating in sleep mode, joy cons snapping, case issues, and other glitches and bugs along with issues with the online lag in GameCube games and over populated lobby’s in 2 player online games.
And not to mention that dreadful battery.
So I’ll wait switched 1 has plenty still going for it and with no monster hunter game on the switch 2 I’m not in any hurry to pick it it.
Mark 2 will be along in a year and i will probably expect a monster hunter game about 1 year in as well so I’ll sit it out for another 12 months plus.

What I’m finding confusing is the continued support Xbox is getting yet the sales numbers are showing in many cases it wasn’t financially worthwhile to have programmed the Xbox version.
Will there be a day when it’s just PlayStation and Switch2 releases announced?
