So looking forward to this…..as it’s gonna be the only MH game on the switch for a while.

Don’t care about graphics, if the game is fun and playable then I’m in.

Complete waste of money.
Just another way to boost sales on a rather dull Mario 2D entry.

Was hoping for a year one limited edition. But no joy yet.
The switch had a few limited editions so I’m confused as to why switch 2 hasn’t gone down that road.

So many other games on my wish list, I’ll pass this one up.

Yeah, I thought it would go this way.
Wonder also felt it lacked the special level crafting that we get with Mario 2D releases. But this bolt on just feels like a last minute attempt to boost sales on 2D Mario title that sits low down on the sales ranking.

So much great support from Capcom.

All this and still with supply issues in Japan and in some parts of the USA.

So the switch has beaten the PlayStation 2 original number of 155m but the new PlayStation 2 number sits at 160,636,885.
Do you think Nintendo will want to beat this and continue to manufacture enough consoles to do so.
That’s another 6m consoles.

Sega’s recent pricing has been what’s put me off.
£55 launch price when everyone else is at £45 launch is a bit much.

Such a shame you can’t get the replacement cardboard sets as these where a great for children’s projects and activities.

Daughter thinks she will like this game better than animal crossing as she’s very bored with that after her 10th day.

Bloody awful decision.
This will encourage more players to focus on weaken players as well as add more visual clutter

This was an absolute gem of a game, and yet No sequel. No port.

What I’d really like them to do is reveal the next or another SEGA console on NSO

Dreamcast?

I think the sales and backlash for MP4 might have put them off investing in a HDR of MP2 so back up plan just release 2 as NSO

Maybe they have been removed from TPC for making too many poor quality games.
So instead they have started to make other games again.

Next enjoyed wonder. Possibly the worst 2D Mario in a very long time.

On a separate note it’s probably next week we will get the Q3 numbers and see the new global lifetime numbers.

Yep I get that, but normally the attach rate on year one first party titles are higher than this.
Especially when there’s only 3 new first party switch 2 only titles.
I understand the attach rate for MKW due to bundle but I expected more would have picked up DKB & KAR

It’s gotta be concerning for Nintendo that both air riders and DKB haven’t delivered sales. Assuming that less than 1/2 million on an install base of 4 million and one of 3 switch 2 only first party new games.

How many for Q3? As I get the feeling that the Q3 sales have missed the mark massively in the USA

@NintendoWife Bedford UK, but no mention or artwork to confirm a Nintendo related area.
Tho the initial plans have received much backlash for not identifying a Nintendo, Hogwarts, HTTYD, areas so we are now waiting on the official release once licences have been agreed for the UK park. I think they want to take the park in a completely new direction LOTR, 007, DR WHO, Paddington etc
So it could still happen…….

A price increase on the switch 2 will certainly slow down the sales for the system and probably more so than it would on PlayStation.
Maybe that’s where the new sku is heading. Either a bare bones lite or an oled with a big price jack.

I’m sure the original release got a later update that added Dixie.

Well he contributed nothing during his Nintendo stay.

The bulk of the complaints seem to be around the very liner maps which are missing the multiple branching paths, along with the handholding and the fact that every upgrade is handed to you rather than hunted out.
Also some note the similarities in theme music to Halo

I’ve not purchased this yet. Based on these complaints and will wait for a discounted or sale event.

Yes I’ve never understood why Sega has not ever put the effort in to releasing model 2 & 3 games on release or compilation.
Many say it’s to do with programming code issues but then they do this.
Baffled?

When you look at this image it’s just not quite there. Still think Angelina Jolie nailed the look better. Tho the films were junk.

Will be interesting to see global numbers for year so far including quarter 3 which should be available around 2 Feb.
With many territories trading down except Japan.

Haven’t bought a Ubisoft game for years maybe a decade.
