Capcom will instead either launch a cloud version or more likely a port of world+ice in an ultimate package.

Further down the line once we have a strong instal base on switch 2 (yr2/3) they will release a system exclusive like rise was.

Unless the launch line up improves dramatically, I’ll be keeping my switch for the time being.

The launch price and the price further down the road will remain the same, so it’s all about that first year titles.
Unless there’s a monster hunter game in the first year I’ll probably hold on until there is.

Unless the hinted launch line up for switch 2 improves drastically I won’t be purchasing one until a monster hunter game gets released on the switch 2.
Until then I’ve got enough to keep me happy on the switch and the switch 2 doesn’t seem to have any killer titles.
Obvs this may all change once the April direct actually tells us more. But from the rumoured line up I’m not impressed.

This is also called counter action, it’s where the retail placeholder is lower than the actual and team Nintendo need to debunk the placeholder as it creates a false expectation.
Eg placeholder price $400 actual price yet to be announced $500

£350 for the switch 2 in the UK is too much in my eyes. But does feel like the price Nintendo will go with.
The oled is £310 with a game.

Unless there is a Capcom monster hunter entry of some sort I’ll wait until then before purchasing. I’d much rather a £300 price point and with a switch backlog I’m happy to wait and sit it out.

Life in the UK is so frickin expensive at the moment they will have to work hard to get families onboard if they price it wrong.

Are people really using this app that Nintendo would rather spend time and money on porting songs over, rather than port some much wanted retro games. I mean at this rate the song app will have more on it than the NSO and Extension

Yep I think the global sales for DK HD are really missing there mark.

What makes me laugh is everyone thinks Nintendo would sell?

Firstly it will just sit in the dock so I don’t care. Unless the C button creates a cast mode and I use the touch screen and the console as a second screen. Aka Wii u days.

Also it worked for Nintendo to do here’s an lcd and then x years later here’s a OLED the double dip sales alone are worth the LCD launch.

Never coming to switch 2, firstly Capcom would never release on a switch without a majority market share. If Switch 2 sells really well, Capcom will want a strong 40-50m install base before they release a new main series MH. .
I think in the first year we will get an HD remaster, or port of world+ice (worldultimate) this is similar to the HD generations release on switch
Them buy the second start of third year we will get a MH exclusive similar to how they did Rise which will release on other consoles later. Also around year 3/4 we will get a stories 3 release

My experience of Game is it’s a crap company run by dicks.
I had a similar problem with my pre order. At £79.99 then 1 day after launch price dropped to £59.99.
24hrs after launch and a £20 price drop. No refund or compensation as the pre order price was the launch day price.

Not played the original yet……and every time I see posts about okami they are always accompanied by crap looking screen shots exactly like those above.
It doesn’t make me want to rush out and buy.

Monster hunter stories 2 is a great game but it’s cheaper to buy a hard copy for some reason.

Well if the switch 2s c button is actually a cast button you could have DS/3DS titles on the NOS where the switch 2 is used with a tv to create the top (tv) screen and the switch 2 (touch screen) is used as the second screen.

Let’s not get our hope set at such a low price point, only to be disappointed when it’s £100 more.

Can’t just convert like that, as it doesn’t take in region taxes etc.
Look at previous releases if the console is $330 dollar it’s almost the same in £280
So $350 would be £300
Or $500 CAD would be £400

I get the feeling that if the current online service carries over we might get a switch 2 expansion option to add GameCube and I’d love for Saturn or Dreamcast to join that

Warioland & Warioworld games are some of my favourite platforming.
The warioware stuff is just trash in comparison and I understand that warioware sells better than land but come on Nintendo give land a chance again!

Love this series tho the third instalment was the best!

I think in the 4th he should get shrunk into or sucked into a series of Nintendo consoles eg SNES, N64 etc and bosses could be ghosts of old forgotten Nintendo IPs from that consoles era.

If they price it wrong (£400 or above) then I’ll stick with the switch for the time being.
This would only change if Capcom announced a Monster Hunter switch 2 only title.

The Wii destroyed so many great games and opportunities with those blasted shoe horned motion controls.

By keeping the switch at full price it achieves two things - 1) it stops the switch stripping sales from the switch 2
2) it show that if the switch is £280 then the new console would naturally be more

You will never stop scalpers until you cap the max selling price for an item on eBay. Eg if it’s RRP is £300 then £300 is the max sellable amount
