I wanted to pick up a physical copy of hades 1 on switch in the UK but the prices are deliciously expensive.
So I’ve crossed number 1 and number 2 off my list.

Maybe they are after certain reviews that give the score that they want.

Interesting, that they would cancel pre orders. As this would mean that in light of this ‘bad press’ people who previously wanted would now not.
By cancelling pre orders you run the risk of those pre orders not being renewed.

This company is a joke, please don’t support them!

On the subject of sega remakes teased in the compilation trailer last year, the two games which looked the most finished where shinobi which is now available and then probably crazy taxi which I’d expect post Xmas.
As for golden axe and jet set maybe we will see them by the end of 2026

I see it’s off set pricing, a common strategy used in retail to level out the profit from more cheaper products to produce vs the expensive ones.

Awesome! But they would have sold more if they put it on a cartridge for UK and Europe!
I know I wanted to buy it then when found out it’s digital only. Never purchased.

When I saw this sparse rubbish looking area and what looked very rough graphics I thought time to re-think the day one purchase of MP4 and wait until it’s reduced to clear.

After some rocky reviews I’ve removed everyone golf from my purchase list until I have chance to play a demo.

I’m also seeing people with lots of switch 2 issues from broken joysticks to dead pixels to powering on or off issues and charging issues with left joy cons

I’m not sure what direction Capcom is going in for the switch but I welcome MHS3.
But will we get a ground up MH or a port of world or wild.
With the talk of disappointing sales for wilds recently I’m unsure of Capcom’s direction. But when monster hunter lands that’s when I join the switch 2 community

My rule of thumb when buying games is as follows.
£1 for 1hr of gameplay.
So if the game is 15 hours long or I’m gonna get 15hr gameplay then I pay £15 for it.
If the game is priced at £30 but it’s only got 15hrs of gameplay play I would wait for it to be on sale at £15.
Games that you play for 100s of hours can charge up to the maximum market price point. Eg Monster Hunter when I bought this it was at market value eg £40-£45 I’ve played this for 700hrs but clearly wouldn’t pay £700 for it.
With today’s market value of switch at £40-£45 and switch 2 at £55-70 I’d expect to get 100s of hours from these but not less than their pound equivalent (switch 40-45hrs switch 2 55-70hrs)

No interest in this title.

Day one patch?

Sounds like they rushed to push this out without a care in the world.

With many saying this is struggling to run on switch 2 I imagined the roadmap to be patch after patch to fix it.

As a game bout to show off a new play style this is pale in comparison to Arms which was built to achieve the same.

At this stage this game has cost them so much. They will need to max sales across switch and switch 2 it’s gotta land Xmas to achieve this. The switch has a very strong line up heading into Xmas but the switch 2 needs a boost.

So are we saying 10m by xmas?
Are they actually gonna miss the year end target of 15m by end March or smash it?

@Anachronism I’d love a ground up game but I wouldn’t be surprised if Capcom want to join the franchises back together.
A port of world ultimate inc all dlc and iceboune must be on the cards to plug the gap whilst they develop either a ground up or a dial back wilds port ‘Wilds S’.
I’m happy we’ve got stories 3 coming as this is a great spin off series but my dream would be to get a monster hunter 5 in the old style of gameplay.

Well they need to remind everyone what the Xmas release schedule looks like.

I’d say demon X but some games it’s actually a cross like monster hunter cross with Metroid

If you haven’t already picked these titles up there’s some awesome price promotions on MK world and DK bananza at the game collection. This weekend with 10% when you spend £100.
That makes DK £51 and Mario £57 both full physical new copies.

Monster hunter Stories 2 is an excellent game. You would be a fool to miss a free opportunity to play it!

Looks like switch 2 game pricing is getting more affordable in UK with games like SF6 Key card £38 and DK full hard copy £56, Mario kart full hard copy £62.
Just wish some of the peripherals would come down a bit as £74 for a pro is still ridiculous.

If the bad press continues Nintendo will get involved and help resolve some issues. They want this title to be strong like Witcher was for the switch.
It attracts a new demographic to the switch 2 which is what Nintendo is trying to achieve this generation.
It looks like it’s running ok in docked so handheld shouldn’t be to hard to rectify.
