Luckily for the UK we’ve already been there and lost Game and Gamestation and Eletronic Boutique.
But now we have Smyths, Argos, Curry’s, John Lewis and Cex, for those who want to buy in person.
And some good bargains can be found in Smyths on the odd occasion.
Other than that I’d recommend the game collection online

Still waiting for a variant of the console and not just a game bundle.

For everyone moaning about the pricing, these games go on offer at least once a year at half price making for $4 game. That’s the time to buy them…..get them in your wish list and bag a classic for less than a burger.

@nintendolife Is this correct that the resident evil 9 switch 2 standard edition is not a key card?

Well it’s miles off it’s sales target and has the not sold well post launch.
The B team might still be working on a dedicated Switch 2 title. But traditionally a mainline Nintendo release won’t land til year 3. So I imagine they would be looking to plug the gap. MHS3 will suffice for 2026 but Capcom might be looking at end of 2026 for a port. Maybe a world or wilds port.
Wilds took 8 years to make so you can assume a sequel is also 8 years away.
Capcom will want to reduce this length of time considerably and they might be hatching a plan to combine team A and B with future releases being multi platform and more frequent eg every 4 years. By bringing out world and wilds it would align the releases on Nintendo systems.

Personally I’d really like an old school version and a as a sequel to 4 (they could probably bang this out in a very short period too).

Maybe a Monster Hunter one or event another Capcom franchise like resident evil.

Hard one this year as it’s probably the first year of all the switch years I’ve not bought a single game.

1) this is programmed by Americans and Japanese they have no ability to connect or enjoy the UK inbetweners.
2) let’s hope you review the game with a the appropriate score including how this spoils it.

Getting worried that this film will feature to much odyssey and not enough galaxy.

It’s a kids game and my child loves it. She plays games for enjoyment and adventure and doesn’t notice frame rate and pop in issues.

Mario Galaxy sales seem very poor for the home of Mario

Rise is a great game amd I’ve sunk 700hrs into it. But I pine for a true MH5 in the playstyle of the old games but with modern graphics.
Generations was amazing and 5 could incorporate this with new areas and graphics.
If they can produce a stories game that sells 1-2miillon copies and be happy enough to produce a sequel then I’m sure an old school Monster Hunter would sell about the same,
