Galaxy 1 & 2 "Switch 2" and Final Fantasy Tactics. Need a review for Shujinko. It looks quite interesting and has potential....

Playing this Switch 1 version on the Switch 2 and its good gameplay. Close to All Stars Racing Transformed Wii. It doesn't look as good as the PS5 footage (significantly tbf), but that is 100% to be expected. I'll probably take the upgrade pathway come December when the S2 version is out. No real feeling of framereate issues yet.

I think MH3, Hyrule Warriors AOI , DQ I&II HD-2D as well as Layton's latest outing stand out the most.

I love me some Katamari and some Resi Evil (to a large extent), but I'll need reviews for those. I suspect they'll be good.

All Switch 2 purchases where possible of course.

I liked the upgraded visuals on the 3ds version. I think this version has taken it up an extra level on that. I'd like this done to 5,8 and 9 please

I have 3D All Stars so Galaxy 1 will have to be a significant improvement in visuals. Then probably, yeah. But it will be like a quadruple dip for me for that game!

I'm 100% getting Galaxy 2 as it's an all time fav video game of mine (like Galaxy1).

A significant Switch 2 visual remake should have been made

I am a fan of the DQ series & I loved 7 on the 3DS but that was already a remake. So why remake it yet again? TBH with you I would have preferred a Switch 2 version of 5, 8 or 9 if they were going down this road. That would have been amazing.

Having said all that, dagnamit, I think I'll probably eventually download this as I am a DQ fan, as I said.

I think I already have all the games I want and need from that sale selection which is a massive chunk of them. Ha. Many cracking games btw.

My wishlist is often there for this kinda thing - waiting for sales (usually of over 30% at least).

May investigate Neva and Invisible Inc, however. I may have previously removed them from my wishlist and I can't remember why.

Absolutely stoked Galaxy 2 is coming. It's amongst the greatest games of all time. If Galaxy 1 looks significantly better as a Switch 2 game, I'll "quadruple dip"....lol...

The pricing is crackers though if you consider the intial Wii U VC price point.

@sixrings Didn't notice blurring bar the deliberate depth in field visuals at times which were interesting. Noticed the odd frame drop but not fussy. Cozy and satisfying platform gaming

I love the Fire Emblem series. This looks great. I'm actually surprised we're getting one so soon into the Switch 2's life

Yoshi series games tend to be good, good quality outings. Looks purrty!

I liked the 3DS iteration moreso that ACES on Switch (both good IMO). But I generally have always liked the series as a pick up and play game. So I 100% down. Switch 2 game as well.

I already have Galaxy 1! I'll take Galaxy 2 all day every day! One of my fav games of all time!

@RickStar I really can't justify the costs of all those consoles though like many others I'm sure. I have to choose one that the whole household can enjoy even if they are a mixture of teenage and young adult gamers. The cost appropriate and cost effective one for me and us is actually the Switch 2 together with enough visual oomph to be enjoyable. Gameplay is where it is most at, of course.

There is one other Puzzle Quest on Switch (The Legend Returns) but apparently there are 8 PQ games currently in existence I think. 2 versions of the excellent original Challenge of the Warlords, but also a Magic the Gathering and Adventure Time version as well (never played those). PQ2 wasn't great and actually made the game boring. Similar to Galactrix. There is a PQ3 out there...somewhere...

Very good. Especially if you don't have an (overly expensive in itself) PS5. Even if I did, a hybrid portable would be my preferred way of playing. I tend to have "higher completion percrntages" on portables and hybrid portables historically, so that tells its own story. I really enjoyed MK World when I stopped comparing it mentally with the 'how do you improve on this' MK 8 deluxe. Banaza is an outstanding 3D platformer, amongst the best ever. Many of my Switch 1 backlog games look and play better. A bit spoiled, if I were to tell you the truth, ha ha

For now, just the Kirby FL DLC Expansion for the Switch 2. I have already pre-ordered.

Grand Bazaar and Shinobi further down the line. Possibly Boulder Dash & Star Trek R (need reviews) as well.

I don't care about fps I want a game that isn't a mess like some were on Switch 1. I'll play it "on the hybrid go"

Sounds sweet from a retro perspective but I can't see playing it much beyond the first set of playthroughs. Even in a "pick up and play" way. Maybe I'll download it when deeply discounted

Roadwarden and Herdling look like they could be decent playthroughs tbf. I won't be getting anything from this week's download list though.

I'm not worried and I will most likely still buy it. Switch 2 third party games so far have been dreamy for me.
