From what I remember, this was the better of the three Godzilla games though I played this one the most back in the day. Cheers for the review, may get this when discounted.

Good stuff. Cheers for the reviews. I was actually in two minds about this but this kind of has me convinced. Hopefully the patch the loading time and mild performance issues but, honestly, not that chuffed.

@SMcCrae95 Ah I wasn't aware regarding the cross save facility with Mewgenics and Rebirth. With that in mind it WOULD be cool to have it for DD2 as well. It also encourages double dipping, I imagine.

Interesting to read a reviewer's thoughts after playing (or currently playing) the PS5 pro version in particular.

I didn't get around to downloading this onto our PS5, so it's great that a hybrid handheld version is coming. I think asking for cross save between PS5 and Switch was a huge ask and not really a con, but fair enough.

Adored the Wii original. Really looking forward to this. Interesting read.

Would be normally interested in this but I have too much to play made by people who wouldn't discriminate against me and many in this forum so I'll stick to those games. Shame for the other hard, non-assy, working devs that helped with this.

Wii Sports Resort is amongst Nintendo's greatest ever creations IMO. I played it to death along with original Wii Sports previously and the various Wii Fit iterarions. I didn't play Switch Sports that much as I don't play on TV with my Switch very often. I may change that for Resort.

Sonic Discord is a good name for a future Sonic game. Or Sonic Discordia.

Metaphor ReFantazio, Ocarina of Time, FF Resonance. NS Sports. Castlevania a little later on, probably early next year. Yeah, good 2 months.

I liked Octopath Traveller 1 & 2 on Switch 1. But I'm not paying full price for visual and performance touch ups.

Witcher 3 Remastered, on the other hand, is a free Switch 2 upgrade and I'll be downloading that!

Reminds me of previous weeks were free S2 versions and paid ones appeared for different games in the same week 😆.

Shadows of Mordor is meant to be one of the better LOTR video games, so as a fan of the books and films, yes please.

@Arawn93 Not many in the replies are talking about expansions. The definitive game exists on S1 and S2. It's the same game.

One of my favourite games from the S1 era. No way I pay the full price for the S2 version of the SAME game though.

The NL revw for the S1 version was 9/10. The only blemish it got was "some performance hiccups", which I barely noticed.

So if you haven't downloaded the S1 version and never played it, does that make the S2 version 10/10 ?!

Bare in mind, playing S1 games on S2 often give the S1 game an overall boost. If not to a full S2 version (has there been a comparison of this specifically though?)

Getting the free Switch 2 upgrade pathways Absolum and Witcher 3. Not the full price, essentially same, Switch 1 games "ported" to Switch 2, DQ XIS (brilliant, but no), Shinobi etc

It's a good game. It can be fun too. It doesn't have to be an all time great.

Apparently amongst the very best LOTR video games? I'm a fan of the books, films and the odd game here and there. Didn't get round to playing this so I'm all in.

They've seen a market to push out the final units.

That might actually increase it's sale because it's rare on the Switch 2 - I'll buy the physical

I'v read a couple of other stellar reviews elsewhere too (one 9/10 and one 5/5) and the game is metacritic'ing at 89% at the moment from 53 reviews at time of writing.

Really looking forward to it. I liked Engage but glad to read it's a return to "this kind of Fire Emblem"

My youngest in his late teens played it. He likes monster tamers and liked the other games in the DQ Monsters series. He said it looked and played well.

yeah I'm all in for some more Melty Blood. Liked the last iteration.

I already have those games. It's actually a good trilogy if you don't have any of those games and want to give the physics based gameplay a try.

Blitz I liked in the Wii era to mess around with. However, when playing it on the Switch as its HD "remake" it played and was designed significantly worse than the other two mentioned IMO

New Layton stands out for me. I may revisit good old Curious Village on S2.

I have the S1 game and DLC. I can't therefore justify a £30 price def edition on the S2. I'm was and more than satisfied with the S1 version playing on the S2

Already have the Switch 1 version. Not paying out again for a Switch 2 version. S1 version looks better on an actual S2 anyway as it is.

I think prior to the Metroid announcement it was a smidgen predictable. Not as a complaint though. I'm glad we have definitive date announcements of confirmed games and confirmed releases of the previous "strongly rumoured" games (eg. Resi Evil Remake Trilogy 2 to 4) coming to Switch 2.

As well as those Switch 2 Editions (providing they're free or very low price upgrades). Then again, we have to be careful about Switch 2 Edition games being kind of potrayed by PR teams as new games. They aren't & their Switch 1 versions look better playing on the extra horsepower of the Switch 2 anyway. Still, as I said, gimmeh those free or low priced ,fully S2 versions, of the S1 games.

Kirby announcement and Persona announcements were my highlight

Outstanding news. Amongst the very best announcements from the Direct. I thought P6 would be released a lot later than the other consoles but hopefully not with this announcement.

Sonic Colours Wii Ed was good. Strangely didn't translate great to the Switch. Frontiers is just an interesting mess around game but flawed as the NL review outlines.
