A true all time great video game. I feel gratitude for playing all the Zeldas. No grumpy politics here. No using one Zelda game as a stick to beat another. I think the open world Zeldas have it as my favourites but I could easily replay more "traditional" Zeldas tomorrow.
Really looking forward to given totk "NS2" a spin again. I have more to polish off. Obviously done the A to B completion but that just one way to play this stellar game (like with BOTW).
Cheers for the review and it is as I expected. Just like with PP Tetris 2S, the NS2 has the definitive version of the game. But neither of the games are worth downloading on the NS2 if you have the NS1 (and the NS2 is backwards compatible even). Good games made by SEGA but poorly played by them here.
What a game. One of the greatest of all time. Got a deserved 96% on metacritic average from loadsa reviews. So hard to follow on from the other all time greats Ocarina and Majora's Mask but did an immense job. Sure, the definitive version is on the WiiUHD but having the GC version on the hybrid handheld is a dream
The Puyo Puyo Tetris series on the Switch is good and this review makes this game (if you don't already have the Switch 1 game) the best way to experience that series. Let's start with something positive and not miserable for once on the internet 😅
BUT - the cons have it. It 100% doesn't seem worth it to buy if you already have the Switch 1 version. Like Sonic x Shadows generations, no upgrade path is offered. This does not make SEGA look good at all. Fair play in producing very good video games but, come on....
I mean if I knew both were to come out on the Switch 2, I would have probably not bought the Switch 1 versions
I adored this game. I have the physical knocking around somewhere in tbe depths of the shelving. They're both decent by I think NA/Europe has it on this one marginally. The clever use of multiple characters in background and larger villain characters enlarged but slightly faded out actually fits in well.
Cheers for the review. I remember not having this on my list to download. That was until I saw footage and read some reviews of the game on other platforms. After that I was sold and downloaded it. Re-affirmed here.
I had drifting joycon issues with my early purchases on Switch1 but interestingly the later switch joycon releases didn't have a drift problem and lasted a lot longer. At least at time of writing. Fingers and toes crossed for Switch 2 joycons!
I actually have it downloaded on my New 3DS XL and its a good, good game. But double dip worthy? Not so sure. Even with "extras" and Switch 2 horsepower visual upgrades. Doesn't necessarily add to that interesting gameplay.
MK World, Deltarune, Nintendo Upgrade packs, Street Fighter 6, Raidou, Welcome Tour, Yakuza 0, Fast Fusion (not necessarily all day one bar MK world of course)
@Zach They'll do the same witn Sonic x Shadow Generations. I would have held off purchasing it on Switch 1 if I knew it was coming to Switch 2 without any upgrade package.
Raidou and Yakuza 0 are insta-purchases most likely. The extra content on Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S actually read pretty neat. Just not £35 "pretty neat"! Maybe one on a deep discount further down the line.
This will do nicely tbf. I'm a bit of a fan of the first iteration from back inn the day and enjoyed the Switch remake. It is pretty much what I expected. Thanks for the review

Re: Review: The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - A Sublime Sequel, Now Sublimer
@croz That's true actually. I think that is what I said around the time BOTW was released. It was time for a change.

Re: Xbox Officially Enters The Handheld Space, But Nintendo Won't Be Worried
So most people who would want to buy this already have a console or 2 related to this already. I truly admire your financial might! 🤯

Re: Poll: Switch 2 Battery Reportedly Lasting Under Two Hours With Mario Kart - How Is Yours Holding Up?
I honestly played a variety of games including World to a total of 4 hours and it was on 11% by the time I finally decided to charge it.

Looking forward to this. We take this for granted now, but you can also play these on the go.....
Re: Xbox Has Reportedly Sidelined Its First-Party Handheld (For Now)
I was actually interested as to how it'd turn out. I thought it seemed a little over-ambitious for Microsoft. Giving it the big 'un

Re: 'Pinball Spire' Brings "Pinballvania" To Switch Today
I need a review for this but it could well be my kinda thang actually. If it works.
Re: How Well Do You Remember Super Mario Galaxy 2?
Probably my favourite video game of all time. My word what a great time I had on this. My memory detail is Swiss cheese, mind you.
Re: Codemasters Says It Will Look At Switch 2 And See If It's A "Good Fit" For F1 Games
I think we'll b just fine either way 😅🙄

I rarely use it to be fair.
Re: 27 Upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 Games We're Excited For In 2025
Outstanding launch window. Majority of those (14 or so?) I am super interested in.
(Defo no upgrading from my PS4 to an expensive PS5 for me for a while)
Re: Talking Point: Are You Ghosting Switch 1 To Save Yourself For Switch 2?

Re: Here's Your First Look At Pokémon Scarlet And Violet On Switch 2
@8bitKirby I agree tbf
Re: Here's Your First Look At Pokémon Scarlet And Violet On Switch 2
It's an updated optimization, not an upgrade. As expected. It was okay as a timepass Pokemon game but you'd want a lot more than that from the series!
Re: Rumour: Red Dead Redemption 2 May Be Heading To Switch 2 Pretty Soon
Surely this is hand in glove for for the NS2. Would play the funk out of it. 😁
Re: Nintendo: "Physical Games Are Still A Key Part Of Our Business"
"Thanos inevitability" - game key cards and digital onlys. Hoh boy.
