Played Final Fantasy XII for two months. The hardest extra boss, Yiasmat, is defeated, and everything else from now on, will be smooth sailing. I might even beat the game this weekend, if I feel like it.
Continuing with Final Fantasy XII, on the PlayStation 2. My first character, Vaan, reached level 99 yesterday. I never got so far with the extra content, as I did in this playthrough. Loved the cute cactus monsters during the fishing quest. I think I have earned their trust now.
I love the way you have to experiment with the environment and creatures. I think this will be a very fun game to go for 100%. Will probably get this as a gift.
Final Fantasy XII as usual. I can beat it anytime, but I enjoy it so much, that I want to stay a little bit longer. I am exploring the (Nabreus Swamps) now. Everything is so cozy, even the swamps.
It was one of the best Christmas gifts for me. I got a red GameBoy Pocket with The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening and The Smurfs Nightmare. Only good memories about this one, what a game!
After replaying them, I think Link's Awakening and Link to The Past are still the best 2D Zeldas.
North America is my favourite this week. I like the green colour, it fits well with Rayman's colours. And Rayman is just nice looking. This is the Rayman I love.
Basically just leftovers, which I would not even want to play on PlayStation 5. Still not regretting, that I put the NS 2 back in its packaging. Turok convinces me, that the soul is in the old games.
@Metazoxan The slump is definitely not helping. But I do not believe, that it is the driving factor of investors losing trust in Nintendo. I can only assume though.
Omniarch TV made a good video about it. Nintendo's revenue is 16% below expectations and the playerbase declined by a million in the last year. I think it was constantly on the rise, in the last years. If you want to see the video, it is called "Uh...Nintendo?". Really enjoyable.
Pretty bad, if the 100 million $ development costs for Prime 4 are true. I expect at least a few Failguard moments, from now on, to be honest. And I wonder when Nintendo will reach Star Trek Starfleet Academy tier quality.
The last Hyrule Warriors was not for me and the new one looks like more of the same, and wants me to play as a princess with tears on her face, hehe, no thanks.
It is interesting, that the fiscal year starts in April. The internet tells me, that there was a time, when the year started in April (Janus calendar).
Cool that they mention the sell-through numbers. I still feel bad for contributing to the sales, though.
Edit: Even put my Switch 2 back in the packaging, a few days ago. Oh, those are not even real sell-through numbers, just internal estimates. I will just go with the sell-in numbers then.
Much less than expected, considering that this is the first chance for Nintendo only players to play it, and that the original PlayStation 4 version sold 700k in its first week. I will not fall again for another VII Remake game.
@Anti-Matter
Thank you! Yeah, the summons can look funny. It is definitely more of a Vagrant Story/ Final Fantasy Tactics kind of game. But the quality is still there and as you said, the music is perfect.
I hope you will also have a good time, when you replay it!
Wow, did Final Fantasy XII, for the PlayStation 2 age well. It is so much fun to be in this world, because the vibes are so good. I really hope, that one day Square Enix will make games again, with such a good taste.
Big thank you, for your hard work , Tanabe-san! Yoshi's Island and Mario Kart 8 are two of my absolute favourites. Especially Yoshi's Island. It was such a great Christmas present, together with the Super Nintendo. You made me very happy, thanks!
So it really is true, the Switch 1 sold 1,5 million units, during its first December and the Switch 2 sold around 1 million. Thanks for giving the numbers.
And what a great end result it became in the end. Especially the later game Gold is one of my absolute favourites. This was the open world experience for me. Being able to call people and be called by people and the real-time mechanic was really impressive.
It would be great if they had this much time for the new Pokémon games. I hope the new games will be awesome.
