I have to say the boxart of this and Bananza look awesome and the colours are so vibrant. Really looking forward to collecting them, if they all look like this.
It started great with Mario Kart, then I started to get bad vibes with Drag x Drive and when they started to show old games I can play on my PlayStation 5, I got it's-over-vibes. The new Donkey game seems kinda fun, but the colours are so weird and agressive.
Air ride looked good, but after Mario Kart World, I do not think, that I would need a new arcade racer for a good while.
I might finish Suikoden II HD Remaster today. Every star is collected and I am ready for the last battles. Afterwards I will start playing Planet Zoo, because I want to play something peaceful for a while.
@LikelySatan I would also like to play a Pokemon game like that, because I think quality is more important than quantity. Still considering how fast Pokemon games release, I think they are surprisingly good. Arceus was a pretty good game for me.
@LikelySatan Yeah, I think you might be right. The big difference probably will be, the mood and atmosphere. Even so, I am even interested in the little changes, like fighting and catching Pokemon on the rooftops, or surprise attacks on trainer Pokemon.
Now I am even more looking forward to Z-A. Metroid looked surprisingly cozy, so I might play it after all. Story Of Seasons looked good.
For me the presentation did what it was supposed to do, show me that there is still a little bit of life in the Switch, before the journey continues with the Switch 2.
First I was interested, because I thought this was something new for Animal Crossing, but as soon as the first thing happened, all I got was creepy vibes. It is not for me.
While watching the trailer, I felt like I played this game already. Viewros seemed cozy and the artstyle felt a little bit cartoony and colourful but I liked it.
After playing the Dragon Quest III remake and now Suikoden I, I am really looking forward to old-school JRPG experiences. Glad to hear, that you can enjoy the original look too. Sounds like they care, I like it.
@Samalik I want native resolutions with real frames and I do not mind bad graphics. I enjoy playing retro games from time to time and I like the graphics. I do not want to support fakery.
If DLSS is close enough and if it works for you, I will not stop you from supporting and using it. It is your money and you are free to spend it, how you like.
@Samalik But it still is upscaling an image and the AI tries to correct the image and make it look like it is the real thing or not? To me this is imagined and not what it would look like if it was a native image. There are definitely mistakes compared to a native resolution.
I simply do not want it, even if it is close enough, more often than not.
@Samalik Nah, I will turn it off like Truemotion or whatever it is called on my television. I would like the frames to be as pure and clean as possible, even if it means I get less frames. DLSS is just a trick to give me the illusion, that games run better.
@Orpheus79V Never heard about FSR1 but when I turned all the stuff in my TV settings off, the staircase looked normal again, like it does in handheld mode.
I played Mario & Luigi Brothership on my TV. The staircase looked like it was made of water waves or something like that. Ever since then, I turned every enhancer and AI stuff I could find off.
@AstroTheGamosian Happy belated birthday! I am glad that you enjoyed the convention, and that you were able to get some autographs, too. Regarding the transportation, hopefully the next time you visit a convention everything will go smoothly.
@JohnnyMind Woah, meeting the great Uematsu-San would be awesome! I hope you will meet him and that you will have a great time.
The Japanese cover looks really cool on a Japanese cartridge and the North American cover looks really cool on the game package and in general. I like them both.
Still enjoying Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. I might get the last orb today. I will also play a little bit of the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong. Fun little game.

Metroid, Pokemon and Dragon Quest are my choices. They look like great fun. I am very curious how it will feel to play in the city, in Z-A.

@Samalik
But is DLSS not just filling the frames between the real frames with fake frames, by giving you AI imaginated frames?

Re: AI Upscaling On Nintendo Switch 2 Is Basically Real Thanks To Updated Patent

Thanks. Even so, I think I will stay away as much as I can from enhancers, upscalers and AI imagination and their fake frames.

I need to inform myself about DLSS. Do the games with DLSS on also look better?
Re: AI Upscaling On Nintendo Switch 2 Is Basically Real Thanks To Updated Patent
I played Mario & Luigi Brothership on my TV. The staircase looked like it was made of water waves or something like that. Ever since then, I turned every enhancer and AI stuff I could find off.
If this is something like that, I do not want it.
