I enjoyed Prime Remastered. It was a dark and atmospheric experience. I agree, that the feeling of being alone is an important part. When I watched one of the last Prime 4 trailers and the whole trailer basically felt like people are just talking and making drama, this was the moment when I decided, that it is not for me.

Easily Europe/ Japan. Nice and clean. Odin Sphere put me in the mood to play Final Fantasy XII, because of the beautiful music. But finishing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance might be a good idea, too.

I have been playing the magical Odin Sphere for the PlayStation 2, the last few days. Continued with an older save file, and now I am playing as Velvette. She has a good moveset.

Even in Japan the sales were down a little bit, during the last nine weeks of the year, according to The Game Bussiness. But only by 5,5 % or something like that. 1,39 million (Switch 1) compared to 1,32 million (Switch2).

Not really surprising that the Switch 2 is doing great overall in Japan, because of its price and games more suited to the Japanese taste.

She is a good girl, thank you for sharing! Great collection and everything is in great condition. The last quote is awesome, especially, if you think about retro gaming and replaying your favourites over and over again.

I think I will also concentrate more on old games again.

Respect is everything. Mister Martinet did a great job and I really enjoyed Mister Afghani's work.

I really need to buy an NES and get DuckTales. Watching it on YouTube feels nice.

The Switch 2 cured me from company idolatry. Thanks, Nintendo, even though this was not your plan. To me they are like every other company now. I expect more middling and divisive stuff from them in the future.

I have only four Switch 2 games now and I do not love even one of them. I think I had more Switch 1 games after just one month after its release.

Yesterday, I saved two very important characters in Fantasian: Neo Dimension. Not sure what else awaits me, this weekend, aside from collecting a little bit of Mechteria. Still having a good time and the music is good, too. Definitely sounds like Uematsu-san.

Maybe this is the year, when I will finally try an Inazuma Eleven game. The new Layton game is definitely on my list.

Still have to beat Fantasian first, before I try the demo. But I was already sold on the game anyway, so I see this demo, as an early start. I will get the PlayStation 5 version.

Well done! Now I have to decide, whether I should play this before or after Dragon Quest VII Reimagined.

So far I have played the remakes of I-III, VIII, and XI. My personal opinion is, that every game I played is a good starting point to get into the series. My favourites are VIII and XI.

I think I met Akira Toriyama, in Fantasian Neo Dimension today. 2026 will be a good year, thanks to Dragon Quest VII Reimagined.

If I find a solution, I will share it. One thing I will probably do is, I will not try to go for the true ending in an rpg game, just the normal one. Afterwards, I want to watch the true ending on YouTube.

It would be cool to see, what the original Metroid Prime 4 looked like.

The internet says, that Metroid Prime 4 cost around 100 million dollars to make, which would make it Nintendo's most expensive game yet.

In the end, they still decided to give the original a little bit of structure. You still need to get some items in the dungeons, in order to finish the rest of them. And you need to finish the first 8 to get access to the last dungeon.

And there were no Ubisoft towers.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is an important title to me. I hope, that I will be pleasently surprised. I wish you success!

I have 247 trophies in Super Smash Bros. Melee now. Completed Classic, Adventure and All-Star, with every character. This weekend, I will try to survive the 15-minute-melee. It will be a fun challenge.

Merry Christmas, everyone! A Christmas miracle happened yesterday. While I was away from home, my CRT television with faulty audio fell on the floor. And now everything is fine, no audio problems anymore. I am sure, that it was Santa's doing. Thank you Santa!

This. And there is still lots of (new) stuff in the past to play, that I still have to play and beat someday. Today I watched a retro-games-are-better-video and the guy was talking about Gothic 1 and Arx Fatalis. Both games are very interesting.

I feel like I am not the target audience anymore, and this is just part of the reason why. I want to play games made by gamers, for gamers, and not by computers, shareholders or activists. Going forward, I will probably play more old games.

Really curious now, how this will affect the sales.

My game of the year was Final Fantasy IX or Ridge Racer Type 4. I know that it does not count.

More trophy collecting in Super Smash Bros. Melee. I think I have 185 of them now. Almost done with the adventure mode, with every character I have unlocked so far. This weekend, I will also try to unlock the rest of the characters. Melee is still as fun as it used to be.
