@HammerGalladeBro I'd wait a few days, maybe a week. These seasonal deals tend to hit Europe first... that said, not everything in Europe goes on sale in NA.
I got a New 3DS in 2021 or 2022, and wow, it is truly great. It feels good, screen is good. The biggest problem will be, when the battery dies it will be hard to find a replacement.
I finished Yestermorrow just now, and really enjoyed it. It has some major frame issues (just pausing randomly occasionally) but I was able to look past it and enjoy the gameplay. Very little action focus, much higher platformer focus.
Also finished NUTS yesterday. It's an interesting walking simulator, but that ending was... disappointing.
Now I need to figure out what to play next. No shortage of choices, thinking Chants of Sennaar.
Wanna finish up the story mode of Bright Paw: Definitive Edition. It's a really fun puzzle game, not too hard, that draws you in with an excellently told story.
Maybe go back to Ministry ofBroadcast. and then for normal platforming: Flynn: Son of Crimson.
Also - you can search by publisher, i think, if you put the vendor name in the search bar. Worst case scenario, if you know a game by the publisher, you can click on publisher name on the game page.
I've got the DS game. Not translating is an... interesting choice, especially since they put part of the dialogue in the trailer, but as long as it's playable I suppose.
I'd consider buying it, but i don't have the memory on my switch for the save file. 4 kids with a profile would be 8 GB just for save data. Simply not feasible.
So.. here's a family problem. My kids can't use the games I've purchased on my secondary Switch. They can only play on the primary system. Having to own multiple copes of the game, within the same household, is a problem.
I have the initial run game, sealed, paid about $100 CDN for it a couple years ago. Not sure if I should but this or not. It's basically the same game, just a different cover art.
1. Yoshi's Crafted World (45 hrs) 2. Piczle Lines DX 500 more puzzles (32 hrs) 3. Slime-San (24 hrs)
423 total hrs. I like games in the 5-10 hr mark generally. I initially thought Yoshi would fit that. But, oh my, that need to do EVERYTHING in that game drew me in. Don't regret it at all.
Piczle Lines is just comfort food I can come back to when I don't want to do any adventure style stuff.
@DarthFoxMcCloud @nimnio The N64 "Gimmick" Was the analog stick. I guess also that three handled controller thing, but honestly the analog stick was THE thing. So much so that Sony copied it and revised their controller for the Playstation.
I'd say the Gamecube was pretty much Gimmick free.
@Ogbert @Anachronism @Late I finished the game, but dear god, it was brutal. The only issue mentioned in the article I didn't have was a game breaking puzzle. But, the colour scheme issues? The unsolvable puzzles without guessing? All true and frustrating.
@Yomerodes Thanks for the list. Body of Evidence, Dream Alone, Inner Voices and Pandemic Shooter are new. Maybe Creepy Tales 2, but i'm not 100% on that one.
@Lizuka Nonograms was beatable, but it was a pain in the butt. Some of the larger puzzles don't recognize colour properly, and they basically have multiple shades that all look exactly the same. As well, some of the puzzles are not beatable with logic, you can kind of guess your way to it though.
To whoever recommended Dadish - that is a great little game. It just flies right by, and is about perfect. Arietta of Spirits was also a nice little Zelda like. Lots of good recommends in these lists.
@johnedwin I think the PS5 increase is a huge story (as you said, heavily driven by scarcity last year to abundance this year), but i think a story that should be getting more attention is how down the Xbox Series is. I haven't seen a Series X in stores in a year and a half at this point. Meanwhile, Wal-Mart regularly has PS5s in stock.
Nintendo being down isn't really a story in its 7th April.Only down 18% is actually really good for this point in its life, as others have noted.
1. Vengeful Heart - It's a cyberpunk visual novel. It's basically kinetic, with only one choice. But the story is absolutely amazing. It's not a romance, but a political sci-fi story with action centred around a group of 4 characters where water is privatized. It's a good length too, at about 10 hrs of reading.
2. Cleo - A Pirate's Tale: I picked this one up on a whim, as I liked the design. It's a point and click, with great voice acting, an engaging (and funny story) and puzzles that perfectly skirt the line of challenging without being obscure. Only complaint was the length at about 3 hrs, but it was a really fun 3 hrs.
@XiaoShao My issue comes from the timing. Announcing the game AFTER the eshop shut down is very much saying... hey if you missed game X and really want it, well this is your only option. It's very different from when you still have the chance to buy digital.
Would love for Sadame and VLR to go on sale in NA, but they never seem to be included. I think they're different publishers here. The rest I have already.
I'm confused. What does "Exceed Expectations" means? Isn't Sega aware that if a game doesn't sell 20 million units in 48 hrs it didn't meet expectations?
Somebody get Ubisoft and Square on a call with Sega to explain how this is supposed to work.
It depends where I'm going. If I'm going to and from work, I'm pretty comfortable taking my Switch with me, knowing I can carry it in my hand as I walk, and throw it on my desk when I get where I'm going. If I'm going out, I'd bring a 3DS as it fits in the pocket (though I wouldn't do it anymore, I'm too worried about damaging the thing).
As a rhythm fan, the fact the Taiko games, and the second Miku game didn't come to NA make me sad. Same with physicals of the Ace Attorney 5 and 6.
As a 3DS collector, it's crazy how much stuff was released around the world that wasn't released in NA. And the region locking makes it even more unfortunate.
Using inflation as an excuse makes sense IF it's still being worked on. If the game is remaining the exact same, saying it's because of inflation makes no sense, as the resources used to produce the game haven't changed.
As others have noted, these are physical only sales, I wonder how all these games would rank if digital was added.
More importantly: Mario + Rabbids and Just Dance were 3 and 4 in December on Switch in sales $, and Ubisoft was disappointed with the sales. And that's coming off Nov when they were 6 and 11, respectively. Exactly what did they expect??
@Nanami_Ataraxi Ah yes, I've got Lyrica too. Much less stressful than most other rhythm games. My biggest issue when playing it is I can't see through my hands!
I tried the demo for Mega Mix.... I want to get it one day. Project Morai (the 3ds one) is my favourite 3DS game.
Muse Dash and (especially) Groove Coaster I want to get but they're so expensive!
@ComfyAko @Nanami_Ataraxi Any personal favourites on the system? I do love me some rhythm games, but I try to be picky as there are a ton. I've currently been playing a lot of musynx, and trying to find the best way to play it. I find easy too easy, but hard too hard. I've also got Taiko (1) and Thumper.
The more impressive fact is that the Pokemon games are multiple releases, and while not everybody buys 2 (or even 3), many people do. Animal Crossing (and Smash and Mario Kart just behind in 5 and 6) don't have that benefit.
Really loved the game. I didn't know there were different endings until I looked it up after beating the game. I only died twice. The first was at the very beginning when I didn't know what I was doing. Fortunately, I deleted that profile and started right over, the second was at the very end, which gave me the bad ending so I just reloaded and got the best ending. Finding the normal ending on Youtube wasn't easy.

Re: No Gravity Games Is Giving Away 11 Free Switch Games This Month (North America)
I usually do these to put them in the library just in case, but usually these games are terrible.

@larryisaman That was a thing in Feel the Magic? I think I have that and Sonic Advance... I may need to test this.

Top 5? Not really possible, right?
Also - nobody said Elite Beat Agents? Nobody said Picross 3D? How??
