Re: The Best Cat Games On Nintendo Switch

Jeff2sayshi

Inspector Waffles is a great choice! No really, play it if you like point and click games, or just adventure games in general. It's on the easy side, but the story carries it. And don't tell anyone, but it's like 15 cents in the Argentinian eshop.

Re: Shin'en Kicks Off 'Everything Must Go' 3DS And Wii U eShop Sale, Up To 80% Off

Jeff2sayshi

I just picked up most of these when they were half price a month ago. But I'll jump on Nano Assault EX now. I didn't get that one, because I have the physical, but for $2, it's worth it for the added circle pad support. (which I'll also get to use with my new purchase of RE: Revelations.)

@HammerGalladeBro Yup, same 5% in gold coins for 3DS purchases. The only thing I'm not sure about is if that works if it's through the 3DS itself, or just the website. Make sure your NNID and Nintendo Account are linked.

Re: Feature: "NCL Has Been Waiting For This Day Since 2014" - Former NOA Employee Talks Nintendo eShop Closures

@Digitamamon64 If you search for a specific game you SHOULD be able to find it. I just bought Legend of Dark Witch and Steamworld Dig 2 for 3DS on the site.

Other games, though, aren't coming up at all. Seems to be hit or miss. I'm putting it down to being a new layout, as even the deals page for Switch is clearly missing at least 500 games when compared to the Switch shop.

Re: Feature: 29 Best 3DS eShop Games You Should Get Before They're Gone Forever

Jeff2sayshi

For the North Americans in the thread.... Picross 3D Rd 2 and Rhythm Heaven Megamix. Sadly we did not get physicals like Europe. Same with Dillon's Dead Heat Breakers, though I haven't played it, and I'm not sure I can recommend a $50 game.

Also.. Mario vs. Donkey Kong Tipping Stars and Mario and Donkey Kong are on my must buy list before the shop closes.

Really hoping we see some publisher fire sales. I know Nintendo won't, so I'm pretty confdent I can buy those without any buyer's remorse if a sale happens.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Year In Review - Our Stats And Most Played Games

Jeff2sayshi

Played 150 games (up from 137) (when you get games from the library, it's easy to just try a bunch of stuff... plus a lot of deep discounts)
563 hrs (down from 801)
Top 3:

Piczle Lines DX (76 hrs) (yeah, I really like this puzzler)
Super One More Jump (23 hrs) (the last few levels are devious, and then the kids like playing co-op with me)
Deponia (15 hrs) (Probably about 7-8 on a first playthrough that I created a game breaking glitch in, that I didn't realize was game breaking and I couldn't progress through for a few hours.)

Re: Yes, Saints Row IV Is 93% Off And No, It's Not A Mistake

Jeff2sayshi

I still don't see why it's gaming the system. Do people really go to the top sellers page, see something there AFTER the sale and think, yup I'll pay full price for this game I've never heard of. Since these high discount games always fall off, I'm thinking no. End the $1.99 minimum NOA.

Re: Nintendo Switch Led US NPD Sales For November And Thanksgiving Week

Jeff2sayshi

@Matty1988 I think there's something to this. So, I bought a PS5 in Nov with hopes of flipping it (Gamestop happened to have one when I walked in the door). Put it on FB marketplace and.... there are literally hundreds of them available. I don't think we know what the true market for this is, but I'm likely going to return the one I bought, as I haven't been able to flip it yet.

Re: Nintendo Switch Now Has Over 6700 Third-Party Games

Jeff2sayshi

To those that have said it's 90% shovelware, or even 99% shovelware, have you actually looked at reviews or anything for a lot of this stuff? There is a ton of quality. Maybe they're not all AAA, best game ever type games, but they are certainly fun.

Yes, there are asset flippers and shovelware pushers but that actually is a minority.

Yes, there are publishers like Forever Entertainment, Ultimate Games and Sometimes You who publish games which are all over the map on how quality they are, but that doesn't mean it's shovelware.

As many people said, I use dekudeals on a daily basis to see what's on sale and there is always something I want. Regardless of genre, there is something to play on the Switch. From Visual Novels, to platformers, to metroidvanias, to FPS games, ARPGs, JRPGs, Open World games. There is EVERYTHING. And that's without counting Nintendo.
