I thought the demo was removed from the eshop.

This is the first week of the reduced price, Japanese only PS5. Let's see what happens in the next couple weeks. Same story happened week one of the PS5 pro.

I have one and 2 on Switch 1 already, unless there's some kind of discount, don't think I'm doing this.

In Canada, deals are absolutely brutal. SW: Outlaws only 25% off. Best deal is probably Yakuza 0 for about 33% off.

So.... I take 2 things from this.

1. PGA is every other year, so there isn't going to be a 2k26, hence why they release the 25 version.
2. 2K must be relatively happy with the performance of WWE2K25 and NBA 2K25 if they're going to bring PGA over as well. This bodes well for future sports games.

Switch 2 now has WWE, NBA, NFL, will have PGA, will likely have MLB... that just leaves the NHL game, I thnk.

@johnedwin It will increase the sales.. but by how much, really?I'm not saiyng it won't work, I'm saying no idea.

The cheaper Japanese PS5 will be interesting. it's all digital, which is the worst sellingmodel in Japan. Does the price drop offset that inthe consumer's eye?

Chromagun was a lot of fun. I wouldn't say it was the hardest game ever, but the puzzles were fun, and the environment provided a nice push through the game.

Man... that generation pack is tempting. Need to know the price.

The split is crazy, considering how many Switch 1s are out there vs. Switch 2s.

@SillyG rightly or wrongly (wrongly) Nintendo is pricing the switch 2 edition higher. So, therefore, Nintendo see value in releasing 2 skus as they feel Switch 1 only players shouldn't be paying extra.

Lots of stuff looks interesting. Call of the Sea may get lost in all this!

@nessisonett Thanks for letting me know. It's funny, because when playing handheld I actually have to move the sticks once or even twice to keep the screen from lowering brightness thinking I've walked away.

I just started 0 and I'm really enjoying the combat... and the story... but the looooong cutscenes.... don't work when i'm playing in 5-10 min bursts.

@Lord This is just US, the 15M goal is worldwide. Well on pace to hit target.

If it meant 10K fewer consoles sold and 10K more dev kits available, should have been an easy choice.

DEfinitely saw Dark Knight, Dark Knight Returns and The Batman. Didn't catch any Batman Begins, or any of the 80's/90's movies. Also referencing Adam West Batman.

As others have noted, seeing a 27% share on Madden (I get it... it's the UK, this may not be representative of the US) is quite the surprise.

This is 100% confirmed to work with GH games on PS3?? If so, I'm 100% interested.

Although - it may just be cheaper to buy a couple dongles off ebay. I have my Les PAul's, just not the dongles.

Sadly no mouse controls as it's a switch 1 game. Would love if it was an option.

The cons don't seem enough to warrant an 8. Review reads like a 9. I watched a couple of youtube vids on it, and saw two very different experiences. One was not good at all, the other looked great.

Also - if you're going to upcharge for early access... maybe be ready for early access?

Really enjoyed it. DLed the demo for Mina, and Well Dweller, Ball Pit, Herdling look cool.

I actually bought Is This Seat Taken, got it from Colombia Eshop for $1.50. Excited to give it a shot. Looks like my type of puzzle game.

I don't think Goldman will be there, I think it's a THQ game. That said, it looks amazing, and I may actually buy day 1.

This should be interesting, as we've heard most Indie devs don't have a Switch 2 kit yet. Does that mean this is Switch 1 focused?

@Fiergala if you say you've only used 35 gB of your PS5 internal storage, please tell me your trick. Because every time I put a disc into the PS5, whether a PS4 or PS5 game, the full game is loaded onto the system first. Yes, even if the game is fully on disc.

I didn't play the originals, never had a Playstation, but I'm recently playing the N-Sane trilogy. Having fun with it. This may be true, but it's not hampering my enjoyment.

@BaldB3lper78 While there may be truth to that on some games, this is over 64 GB so it wasn't going to fit anyway. Switch 1 version will likely be a 1 GB card, dling the rest. So, what's the difference?

Maybe it's just me, but I've also found it hard to find the 3rd party games in stock anywhere here in Toronto. I've yet to see Hitman, Yakuza, Bravely Default actually available to buy anywhere.

It's a huge missed opportunity. Fortunately, a lot of the fixes should be simple and could be patched in.

The big problem, though, is that there's no racing in free roam. I was looking forward to something Burnout Paradise style, but there's none of that. And no way to track which missions I've done, how many I've completed in an area, etc? It's crazy.

@Duncanballs You don't need to have the cart in to play the game? If so - can do this with a library copy too, theoretically??

Never played a Splatoon game, but I can see this being a jumping in point.

This doesn't read like a 7/10 to me. Reads more like a 9, with frame/save stuff bringing it down to an 8. Which is ok with me. I think I'll jump on it.

Voted Japan, but I think they're both perfect for their box sizes. i don't think the map would have worked on the square boxes, nor the castle background on the rectangular one.

Honestly, with how they made Split Fiction a code in a box, the fact that this is a card key is a minor miracle.

Third game had Jean Reno in it.. I would imagine that makes for licensing issues.

@PharoneTheGnome The game was brought up in the last one of these. They're not going to go back and do the reviews, this is for highlighting gems.

Being $5 almost makes it worse. Nintendo KNOWS it's not really a game, and it's nickel and diming. And this is coming from someone who actually is ok with the $80 Mario Kart price.

A single player game described as a co-op horror game?

the publisher has literally no website out there. That should tell you something.

@darkswabber I played the 2D ones and they're really fun. Pick one up when they're on sale and try em out.

@NintendoByNature I was really tempted by Captain Toad (it's a great game) but decided my 3DS copy is sufficient.

I just bought this on PS5 recently, but haven't played it yet. Hopefully some of these features come over. Especially completion gauge.

I thought this one definitely looked interesting. One of the most original ideas in the State of Play. Everything else was a 3rd person, narrative, action adventure game.

Rating system. Badly badly needed, and would help a lot. Filtering ability.

If anything, this goes to show how much impact online discounting has on sales.

So my top three are:

Portal 2 - 81 hrs
Piczle Lines DX: 500 more puzzles - 36 hrs
Piffle - 18 hrs

Portal 2 wasn't me playing, it was my kids using my account because it was on a secondary system. Piczle Lines I just keep coming back to, trying to knock off puzzles. Now I'm on huge puzzles that take 3-4 hrs each. Piffle is addicting... until you realize some levels you just can't beat fairly. Which is too bad, because I was really enjoying it.
