Same. Both Matthew and A are phenomenal characters abd I'm kinda surprised NL didn't mention them. Xenoblade is literally a Nintendo game.

Nice to see Fire Emblem. Engage up there in the top 10. Glad to see the series is still popular even after Three Houses.

He'll probably be leaving on a gold parachute and a slap on the wrist, but at least he will never be able to hold any influence over the gaming industry ever again.

The rest of the new heads sound much better suited for the job. Hopefully Acti-Blizz will start treating their workers with respect again.

Shovelware isn't going anywhere. It's been around for a long time and I don't think it'll ever go away. As long as devs are out there able to make lazy asset flips, there will be shovelware. Just look at Steam.

I feel like Lego Animal Crossing wouldn't be that much different from regular Animal Crossing.

As a Mario Kart fan, I might give the racing mode some more time. It's fun how each mode gives us XP.

Also love how Fortnite has basically revived Guitar Hero/Rock Band with the Festival mode.

While I understand delays are necessary sometimes, I have to wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. It was meant to come out Summer 2023, then pushed to Winter 2023, and now Spring 2024?

The game is already fully playable on PC so I'm wondering what's really happening. Is there an issue with the publisher?

This isn't really a good argument when everyone from Spider-Man to Batman is in Fortnite.

These characters are in Fortnite for moneymaking and giving players a chance to play as their favorite pop culture icons.

It's a shame because I would love to have Byleth, Dimitri, Shulk, or Pyra/Mythra in Fortnite but it'll never happen due to how stingy Nintendo is. I would do anything for a Monado pickaxe.

Imagine how cool an event themed around Mario or Pokemon would be? Imagine grabbing mushrooms and shells to throw at enemies! Imagine a Pokemon-catching event inside of Fortnite itself! Imagine a Splatoon crossover where all the guns get replaced with splattershots and then Splatoon does a splatfest centered around Fortnite (build mode vs zero build for example).

There's so much potential for fun Fortnite content if Nintendo were willing to play ball. It's disappointing that they aren't.

Subpar how? Engage has vastly superior gameplay to Three Houses. It's easily one of the best SRPGs on the Switch.

I loved Fire Emblem Engage and don't play Pikmin.

With that being said, I'm happy for the Pikmin fans. Fire Emblem already has awards from TGA thanks to Three Houses so I'm okay with Pikmin taking this one since it hasn't won anything before. FE has already had its TGA spotlight so now it's Pikmin's turn.

And regardless, Nintendo still won either way lol.

Nice to see Pikmin 4 win an award. I was bummed when Fire Emblem Engage didn't win but then I remembered Three Houses won Best Strategy and Player's Voice before. Pikmin has never won an award before so I'm glad it got something.

There's way too many spirits for them to reasonably add descriptions to them like they did with trophies. It'd be a lot of work to implement and translate into various languages such as English, Japanese, French, Chinese, and so on.

It sucks but I completely get why descriptions aren't a thing. Besides, we can just use the internet for this stuff nowadays anyway.

Hopefully they make one for Dixie and Cranky!

As someone who played a bit of Snake in Smash, it's cool to see him in another big crossover game. Funny how companies that aren't Konami treat Metal Gear better than Konami itself.

Given that this is concept art, I feel like the design has potential but sadly I don't know how much mileage they'd get out of it considering they barely use Waluigi nowadays.

I think there should be a single-player story mode in the next game with deeper customization that includes things such as stickers and paint jobs. I also hope they bring over the various costumes and outfits from Tour and maybe make more original tracks with the lap-change mechanic like the Tour tracks in the BCP.

Also please give us more than two Bowser's Castles in the next game...

Words cannot describe how sad I am this is happening. TFH was such a unique fighting game with a focus on 4-legged characters and the story mode was really interesting with RPG-like mechanics.

But knowing that it'll never be finished and we won't ever know how the story ends is just sad. Part of me wishes they didn't bother with it in the first place...

Still don't understand why Vanellope isn't in this game yet.

I still don't understand what kind of game this is. Is it an action adventure akin to Zelda/Lego Batman or an RPG akin to Mana/Skyrim?

It's not a good sign when your gameplay trailer leaves me more confused than interested.

Downloading it now. Easily my favorite game in the series.

World 2 was my childhood. Remake it next!

Hopefully Xenosaga has a chance of making a comeback now.

Bowser Castle 3 for the simple fact that we finally have another Bowser Castle in MK8. It's really disappointing to me that we have FIVE RAINBOW ROADS yet only TWO BOWSER'S CASTLES.

Would have really liked GCN, DS, or 7's Bowser Castle...

It's kinda fun going back to how the map was when it first released on Switch in 2018.

I really loved this game for how original and fresh it was but I guess most people just aren't interested in it. It's a shame. Kudos to the devs for keeping the game playable at least.

I just hope they make a story-focused game such as a beat 'em up or RPG next. Characters like Kai, Ai.Mi, Asher, and Rasmus have such interesting storylines that I want more of in some capacity. Hope they can salvage it for a new game.

New voice sounds good. I think we'll get used to it.

Imagine how cool it would be if younger NPCs like Emily, Cecil, and especially Anita were aged up via a timeskip and made fully playable. I really want to see Anita's fullest potential realized in particular alongside new folklore monster characters.

But it's probably just Mega Man 12, DMC 6, or a new Ace Attorney...

I just want a Darkstalkers 4...

It's sadly due to the most popular anime primarily being about guys fighting. This is a nice change of pace.

Really hoping we get a My Hero Academia game that plays like the Lego DC/Marvel titles as an open world adventure game where we save people.

It's actually really impressive how tight the shooting feels. The Switch port is very good.

The fact that a niche series like Persona was included yet not Xenoblade really makes me question just how many JRPGs they play. Especially with Persona 5 ranking near the bottom.

Guess Persona 1 and 2 don't exist...

It's a huge file compression. Early gameplay videos have shown it runs pretty well too.
