It's sadly due to the most popular anime primarily being about guys fighting. This is a nice change of pace.

Really hoping we get a My Hero Academia game that plays like the Lego DC/Marvel titles as an open world adventure game where we save people.

It's actually really impressive how tight the shooting feels. The Switch port is very good.

The fact that a niche series like Persona was included yet not Xenoblade really makes me question just how many JRPGs they play. Especially with Persona 5 ranking near the bottom.

Guess Persona 1 and 2 don't exist...

It's a huge file compression. Early gameplay videos have shown it runs pretty well too.

Don't forget Borderlands 3 which also releases on the 6th!

Releasing one week before the big new 2D Mario wasn't a good idea anyway. Glad they delayed it.

Hope his lack of influence doesn't impact a potential Astral Chain sequel.

Yeah something like that. They should also just copy Persona's school mechanics when off-duty. Such as letting you hang out with the side cast such as Mina, Momo, Todoroki, Denki, Toga, and Shigaraki with Social Links.

They'd likely need to come up with an original story. Maybe our custom character has a rare quirk that both the heroes and villains want to take for themselves or something and we have to choose a side like Fire Emblem Fates/Three Houses.

I feel bad for anyone who thought Tomb Raider and Legacy of Kain would fare better after Square sold them off to Embracer. They're just crashing and burning so hard at this point.

Lego DC Supervillains with MHA is basically what we want here. That game lets you make your own custom villain with powers on an original story. As you fight alongside The Joker, Lex Luthor, and Reverse-Flash. Something like that in MHA at UA High would be perfect. Just copy Persona's school system and Lego's customization.

Hopefully Namco considers doing something like that someday. All we can do for now is support the MHA game releases that are here.

If it helps, I think this will be fun because it reminds me a lot of Spellbreak which was a magic-based BR that felt super fun with its unique mechanics.

Genuinely shocked that they're making this game available with english dub at launch. Guess that means they're actually putting effort in here.

Then why announce it in the first place? Stop getting people's hopes up with false promises.

I'm glad we have the Tour tracks preserved in 8 Deluxe so we can still play on them even after Tour shuts down. Nintendo is finally starting to preserve their content for a change.

Hopefully they'll do the same for Dragalia Lost.

I want a more story-focused spin-off game that plays like a tactical RPG akin to Fire Emblem and Mario+Rabbids.

Besides, I'd rather they bring back Wario Land instead of shoving Wario into a Mario game.

As a Daisy fan, I'm very happy to see her make her debut in a fully-fledged console 2D Mario game for the first time. I've always liked her best and that's who I intend to play the whole game with! 🌼

Please give us a Spyro 4. Not counting Reignited, Spyro hasn't had a brand-new game since Dawn of the Dragon in 2008--15 YEARS AGO!

I was sold the moment I knew Daisy was fully playable. But the badge system with unique passive abilities will offer even more ways to play the game and I'm excited.

Considering they were likely going to be merged into Gearbox, I see why they were shut down. Embracer Group likely didn't want the horrid quality of Saints 2022 to infect the devs behind Borderlands so they'd rather delete the studio entirely.

Good riddance.

I'm excited for MK1 on Switch especially since Saber (Witcher 3 port devs) are involved with it now. Really need to see gameplay though.

I'm really excited to see Shao no longer be Kahn and instead be General Shao. Hopefully his character will be taken in a better direction after the horrid state he was in during 11.

I'm almost certain Naruto Storm Connections is one of these games.

Such an old game with no new features and the removal on online modes isn't worth (nearly) full price. I'll wait for a sale.

When Capcom brought Devil May Cry 3 to Switch, they went the extra mile and incorporated new mechanics from DMC4/5 and didn't charge full price.

Rockstar could do better.

Personally, I'm gonna wait for reviews and a sale. $50 seems way too much for a 13-year-old 360 game to me.

I just hope they scrap the awful chapter system and just let us play as whoever is involved in the current situation. Chapters hurt both gameplay and story by not giving the player a proper tutorial on the full roster and never letting us play as villains which makes them feel weak in the story.

While I am a bit disappointed that this trailer didn't even reveal any new Kameo Fighters, I genuinely don't want Kronika to return. She was awful.

The perfect way to end a perfect trilogy of perfect RPGs.

Personally I'm satisfied. I got Daisy, Byleth, Kazuya, and Pyra/Mythra so I don't really have much room to want anything else. My favorite game characters are already here.

Not really interested in the guest characters. I'm just happy to have Takeda and Quan Chi back.

I will try this game when they add Vanellope from Ralph. She's a racer. This is a racing game. It's like 2+2.

Love Bluey and a minigame collection would be ideal.

Really hoping we get a gameplay and graphical trailer for the Switch version soon. With Saber (Witcher 3) working on it, I'm excited to see how well it turns out compared to MK11 on Switch.

This actually tracks well. Remember Satoru Iwata actually took a cut to his own pay during the horrid Wii U era to ensure there wouldn't be any extra layoffs to the employees.

Nintendo isn't perfect, but they do seem like the best gaming conglomerate to work for.

Nia and Mio have a much deeper tone thanks to the accents of their VAs. Trust me when I say that catgirl (and a lot of female animal characters) sound extremely high-pitched and cringey in most other JRPG and anime dubs because of the overuse of American VAs. Welsh VAs are a nice change of pace.

I could've sworn I heard Cassandra Lee's (Sothis in Fire Emblem and Morgana in Persona) voice in that trailer.

Regardless, as a Naruto fan that didn't get into Boruto, this looks pretty interesting. A 5th Ninja War is a neat idea and I wish they gave us this trailer first.

I'm just super glad the Xenoblade series (barring XCX) was dubbed in the UK. Can you imagine how generic and cringey an American accent would sound on catgirl characters like Nia and Mio? And this is all because Nintendo of America refused to localize the original Xenoblade so it was up to Nintendo UK to handle it instead. Thank goodness.

And I'm speaking as an American here. JRPG/Anime dubs could do with a lot more variety with their English translations and I'm super glad Nia and Mio sound the way they do because of it. They're iconic and stand out.

That makes sense. No MK game since MK2 has even released over there for this reason.

Meanwhile we're fully on board with decapitation and all forms of gore so it's likely a cultural difference. The West hates sexualized content whereas the East/Japan doesn't mind it as much for example.

I guess it's because it's hyperrealistic violence which is why they dislike it. Japan makes gory manga/anime but feel Mortal Kombat is too much for them.
