I’m also Canadian and don’t understand where people are buying games when they claim on this site that physical is often cheaper than digital and like day one. I feel like most of those comments are coming from the uk. But if you have a good source for discounted physical games in Canada, please let me know

496 hours playing switch which is actually pretty reduced from previous years. Still plenty of gaming tho. Top three is splatoon 3 at 116, persona 3 portable at 92, and totk at 82. I’ve just recently started totk again to try and just wrap up the main story but I definitely feel like the game is bloated. Would like to finish it before buying wonder and rpg but dang I don’t know if I will cause I want to jump into those Mario games.

Just gonna stop by and say Chameleon Twist and Clay fighters lol. (I was an idiot child who did not know what to rent when I got to rent a 64 on my birthday)

I still have my copy, but I have no idea why I bought this game as a kid. Best guess is someone at school told me to get it, which is how I ended up getting lord of the rings the two towers for gba and yoshi touch and go for ds. Maybe I’ll fire it up again.

So happy to have the dualies with splashdown back. Was one of my favourite set ups in 2. 3 has been the better game in my opinion, and I’ve put more hours into it than I did 2. Honestly just being able to matchmake with my friends in any mode, with ease, will always put splatoon 3 way higher in my books. I’ve enjoyed the catalogues and “battle pass” esque seasons and updates. Amazing game

My analogue pocket is a Pokémon pinball machine (GBC). Rumble pak still works even! (And still has the battery cover lol)

Which skate sim has more fun controls? Session or skater xl? I can never go back to Tony Hawk after skate, so just wondering if one of these will have as satisfying of a learning curve with the controls

This looks pretty great, and probably the one game that caught my interest in the showcase. I could see it having the same appeal that Slay the Spire has, if the gameplay is tight

It still upsets me that Mario party superstars wasn’t DLC for this game. This game was ok honestly, the river thing was fun. But this game could have been great with more content

Don’t have the game yet, but down to try multiple controllers now once I get it. Only super nes pad I have is for the mini but I have the 8bitdo adapter so I can connect it to the switch. Might be laggy tho.

Really in disbelief I’m hearing complaints of y-b Mario control. It’s just so precise for never having to move your thumb but have complete control over running and jumping. And like ingrained in my brain. People saying they’ve been doing it since SMW on SNES, but it’s been that way since NES. Aren’t the an and b button “backwards” on nes to be able to hold run and jump. Feel like it’s the only way Mario is played. But what do I know I’m just another obsessive Nintendo nerd amongst many here

I walked into a gamestop (eb games to me still) as I road tripped to another province to see family. I only have a Walmart in my town to buy physical games (I like buying physical games in brick and mortars because I’m weird). Saw a physical copy of Dokapon kingdom in the flesh and bought that instead lol. I’ll get wonder at some point this weekend tho

I had Sim Theme Park (apparently aka theme park 2) for pc as a kid and all I really want is a port of that on switch. That game was awesome. Been tempted by a roller coaster tycoon game but they don’t seem as cool to me I dunno

I tried out sayonara wild hearts because it seemed to be well liked by users here, but didn’t end up enjoying it at all. I would rather play everhood or trombone champ

Darn, thought this might happen. Already played through p3p and was just gonna wait to get 4. 4 went on sale so I caved and am 30 hours in. Would have preferred physical to go with my physical copy of p5r. I don’t think I’ll buy these games again

It’s a pretty fun move to pick the obvious underdog choice. You never are bummed because of mirror matches. Tri colour usually works quite a bit too because everyone is looking for that one team to make a normal match. The only time I got wins in tri colour defending and attacking was with Sasquatch I think lol. Makes it fun with lots of proper splatfest matches.

@Gamergirl4 Gold Hi-Horses could easily be custom’d from a pair of Osiris shoes. I was curious and went to the site and instantly saw a pair of patent gold shoes on the first page. Obvi it’s not the real thing but pretty darn close

Loved the first game I played through twice. Will definitely get the sequel. Firewatch was the walking simulator that disappointed me. People spoke highly of it and I thought I would appreciate it like Oxenfree but I thought it was so boring and the story was not for me

First game was great and I really enjoyed. Enough to play it twice, and the second play through was cool

First splatfest win for me in splatoon 3, FINALLY. My friends and I are stoked. Won 2 out of 3 100x battles which I was pretty happy with. Tri colour map was pretty cool but I still don’t know if I like that mode

Yea I’ve been wanting a bomberman 64 multiplayer mode brought to a new game so bad. The 3D was cool.

Me n my friends played as Bigfoot. Hardly saw any nessie teams in turf, mostly alien. What’s funny tho is this was finally the splatfest where tri colour was fun for me. Which doesn’t match with how everyone else felt about it. But as Bigfoot, we got proper tri colour matches every time. Won a few as defenders and attackers.

I think I like strikers more than golf and tennis on the switch. It really shines in couch coop. But I also haven’t played too many hours of it

I think I would really like the gameplay of this game, but don’t know if I’ll commit to getting it.
@Dualmask, Skate 4 was announced as in development maybe a year ago now, or more. And there have been some update messages since. The biggest thing, which scares me, is that they announced it’s gonna be a free to play game. Looks like it’s gonna milk the game as a service model which doesn’t have me looking forward to it

This will make tournaments easier by getting rid of the requirement to add your opponents as friends at a system level. Not that that was really difficult in the first place

Well I think I need this. Pretty ridiculous that the only reason I got my hands on the n64 nso controller was because I travelled to New York and went to the Nintendo store. I almost left without one before I thought to myself I should just ask if they sell them.

This is funny cause at first I was cursing the Pokédex cause I didn’t realize you had to click again once you entered the Pokédex to get the list. Then I was annoyed that it was books. I was looking for efficiency at the time, but I guess I just hadn’t got use to it yet.

Visually very appealing. It looks cute and relaxed.

Someone dubbed the first trailer with actual Mario voice and honestly it was so much better. Chris Pratt ain’t it. Visuals are pretty. The voices are just weird. I think the voices will just take all my focus and stress me out if I watch it. Cool game references tho

Did anyone else play these on computers in Chapters? In the kids book area? They seem so familiar and I think that’s were I would play them
