@HingryHuppo happy to hear you’ve at least enjoyed some of it. Bananza being short tho? Took me over 40 hours to complete and I barely dabbled with the post game stuff. I did try and get as many bananas as I could during my playthrough but man I still have so many left to 100% the game

My fingers are tightly crossed that I may receive one on my birthday on the 19th! Otherwise I’ll just buy it myself later haha

This is the first and only metal gear I played and I loved it, ooops. Guess I should get the first collection. Same with Devil may cry 4 on ps3. Still thought that was cool too. Sometimes it’s not realistic to play a whole series front to back and that’s ok

@ROMhaiku yea definitely kind of a hot take that I didn’t really need to slide in there. I agree that using cinematic to blanket both together doesn’t make complete sense. MGS4 being ‘cutscene’, but GoW being cinematic in the sense of big lord of the rings feeling environmental shots and showcasing the beauty beyond just being a tightly controlled action game. My bias towards ps3 is bleeding out here too. That jump in gaming had me absolutely gob smacked, and then when ps4 came around I never felt the need to get one and didn’t until 2020. PS3 is still my favourite PlayStation

MGS4 absolutely blew me away when I played it on ps3 at release. I loved how cinematic it was, which is funny because I got so tired of god of war (ps4) because of how cinematic it was lol. My parents got mad at me so much because I wouldn’t “shut off my game” because I was stuck finishing a cut scene that would go for so long. I still have my ps3 copy so I might not get this. Too bad the online part won’t be there that was awesome too and sunk so many hours into it after beating the game. The only military themed online game I’ve ever been into, and I guess killzone 2

@Zeeba I’m still very early in the game, like 10 hours, but it’s absolutely gorgeous and the battle system is cool. Just classic vanillaware really. Highly recommend bringing it out of the backlog when you have the chance. 13 sentinels too

I just ordered a physical copy yesterday. This kinda has me nervous haha but I’ve heard such good things. Will probably start it once I’m finished with unicorn overlord.

@foofightingjohn this is a great question! The split screen drove me nuts in aces. If it does let you play multiplayer on one screen I would definitely sell aces and get this

I have a gengar and mew time magazine, from recently but I can’t remember why they made those ones, and all the articles in it are pretty great with awesome photos from the 90’s. brings me back. I’m not at home so I can’t check why those ones got made. Pikachu was also one of the other covers available

The release date announcement for Scott Pilgrim ex got me excited so started playing the first game again. Started a Wallace run and I’m almost through. Defeated all the evil ex’s and nega Scott, on to Gideon. Unicorn overlord is my main course tho and it’s so gorgeous, and then ball x pit runs between everything else, already unlocked the new dlc buildings and characters. Voted for switch version but definitely playing switch 2 edition

Day 1 ish let’s go

That’s sad, sands of time is incredible and probably one of the only games my older brother and I both beat and played save files at the same time. We would help each other with puzzles and what not. Amazing game and a good memory for me. I liked warrior within too, the edginess really resonated with me as a teenager lol. The 2008 game was the next I played and completed and loved that it was beautiful. And lost crown is in my backlog but excited about it based on the community here saying good things. Man I would take the prince over assassins creed everytime, u kinda suck ubi

Voted Japan. I don’t understand the “it’s better if it shows more characters from the game” or “this cover better shows me what gameplay is actually like”. Things don’t need to be so literal for me personally.

I love new Vegas so much please be true. I loved it so much my ps3 phat stopped loving me (I played it so long and consistently it fried my console on 2 separate occasions)

@ChromaticDracula that adventure time game rules! It released on ds and 3ds, for some reason I went with the ds copy. I’ve been meaning to dig it out of stuff still in my parents attic, but still have not. I really want to replay it. Also, “hey ice king why’d you steal our garbage” is an amazing title

Honestly it looks kinda bad the proper way. Like the indent is too long, and then as people mentioned it over hangs. The indent looks better when centred if only the piece was flush to the left side of the cart while centred. I just built mine last week, got it for Christmas. Absolutely loved the build, but now the cartridges bug me cause of this article lol. Oh and I totally put them on centred

The European cover is pretty cool to me so voted for it. Did box art brawls actually start in 2019? I’m more shocked that I’ve possibly been around for them all. It’s one of my favourite things on a Sunday. One day I’ll play a resi game I swear

I just got a copy of air riders for 69 bucks this weekend. Road tripped to see family this past weekend and stopped at a eb games along the way and they had it on sale. Same with all the amiibo for the game but didn’t buy one (I wanted to buy withheld). For reference that’s Canadian dollars. It retails for 99, so I was prettty happy to find it on sale woooo

Incredible game, just like its 3ds predecessor. I’ve gone back to it after completing the story to play the dlc. Fully obsessed again.

Been playing digimon cyber sleuth but might drop it for this dlc. I finished the story but have definitely not maxed out my lives or finished ginomorsia. I’m pretty keen for this, cyber sleuth has been kind of a chore

Picked up the decadence collection physical for switch. Finished 1 and got a decent way into 2 and never finished. Loved what I played tho. Really need to go back and finish off the second game. I don’t think I would pick up a remake of 2 but I’m definitely gonna get hundred line and shuten order based on how much I liked what I’ve played so far of the series. Oh I also have rain code and haven’t played that yet either. So many games lol

I’m sure COD would sell a boatload of switch 2’s if it’s a decent version. That’s cool I guess

I’m not sure if I would actually replay 2 if some kind of upgrade came. Maybe. It’s one of my favourites with 1 and X. 3 was cool but I didn’t love Moebius or having a party of 6, felt too easy I dunno. I’ll replay the series at some point I’m sure. First I gotta play all the dlc tho

What the actual…… this is something huh. I love kill bill so much. My boyfriend and I went as Gogo and Beatrix for Halloween once. I hate this kinda. Also watching both back to back in theatres sounds wild. That’s so long

“Low effort trash, half-baked, undercooked, slop, unfinished rushed mess.” Dunking on Pokemon is always so cool dude. This game is a gem and I’m having a great time. Like so much so that working on 1000 battles doesn’t feel like a grind to me. I’m at over 800 so far and not bored yet and still finding things to do

Still unsure about the dlc, but loving the base game. I’ve actually never purchased Pokemon dlc. The one thing that would really sell me on it is if they added the roller skates to the game, and all the grind rails and stuff. I know the grind rails were outside of lumiose but whatever. I just started playing y again and I kind love the roller skates

I love Mario kart world! I love Pokemon legends ZA! Eat my shorts! As someone also mentioned, xenoblade might be my perfect series now. Loved my time with all of them on switch. While some people are anxiously awaiting new 3d Mario, I cannot wait for a switch 2 announcement from monolith soft oh my that gets me excited. Lol

@Potimarron I was thinking the same thing when potential f-zero animations were brought up! Redline is absolutely incredible and one of my favourite movies. The story of its creation is interesting too, like over 7 years to make and almost was cancelled a few times I think. I’m so glad it saw release

Finished the story in legends ZA, and I really enjoyed the story honestly. Great for a Pokemon game. Will continue with post game, and it made me start a new playthrough of Y to see if any of this lore is in that game. Some runs of ball x pit will be mixed in as well, I’ve unlocked the final level and need 2 more clears for gears. But as I type that, is it the final level if I’m still collecting gears??? Hmmm. Is that a spoiler? Finished Luigi’s mansion on the cube this week and want to start on prime 1 to then hopefully finish prime 2 as well, all before I play 4. I unfortunately do not own 3 tho, or a Wii. Ah well

The whole button redesign stuff you talk about is confusing. You mean like the start/select dpad system buttons? Cause the fret buttons are just rock band style not guitar hero style. Or are you talking about internals of the fret buttons? Cause that could definitely be built different. Also the quiet strum bar is also a rock and thing vs the clicky guitar hero strum bars. This stuff is all kinda funny cause I just got re addicted to rock band since the delisting of 4, and have since got all my instruments from my parents house. I’m very excited for the new CRKD drum set to play with a bass drum pedal again

It’s too late for me, but the Xenoblade games could definitely use the boost, no matter how they choose to do it. But X isn’t the game I would go back to, dang story play through took me 150 hours. I would go back to the dlc for 2&3 tho cause I haven’t played those yet

Gun and Wet both have implanted themselves into my brain for those simple titles. Like I thought they were terrible names at the time. Someone lent me their copy of wet and I was shocked it’s a pretty cool game lol. I’m sure gun would be just as pleasantly surprising for me

@Twilite9 I got a pair of earbuds recently from Jlab that are transparent purple, the charging case too! I’m obsessed with them even tho they’re a cheap earbud. Also feel very lucky I got my hands on a transparent green analogue pocket
