I'm currently at the Switch 2 Event and mouse mode is insane. Switch 2 is definitely innovative.

DK64 is the best DK game and it has great music. It was on Wii U VC so it should come to NSO, hopefully soon as a way to hype up Bananza.

$249.99 and they can't even afford to put the game on the cardridge. This is absurd.

This game is one of the reasons I wanted a Switch 2 in the first place so I really hope this is real and the game doesn't take too long to come to Switch 2.

I use it every single day. I've already gone through the entire Fire Emblem history, which was shocking to see because Nintendo talked about all the Japanese only games. All translated and localized for my country.

Now please actually translate and let us buy all these games Nintendo. You clearly know they exist.

This game is incredible. My favourite fighting game outside of Smash. It has a ton of content and never feels repetitve. The story mode is also very in depth although I remember the story itself not making any sense.

Worst and most useless Direct I've ever watched. Told us basically nothing we didn't already know. If only they at least hinted at more characters and things being in the game, perhaps unlockable by doing the missions in free roam, it would've made me more excited for the game. Now I'm left thinking we know everything there is to know about the game, which is very disappointing.

Still gonna get it day 1 though.

The Special Cup was missing so it's probably unlockable with Rainbow Road being the final course as usual.

After 20 years I finally beat the story on my original copy the beginning of this year. I dare anyone to beat chapter 7, it's probably the hardest thing I've ever done in a video game. The final chapter also left me shaking after I finally finished three laps without making a single mistake.

Needless to say, I won't be doing that again anytime soon if ever.

@Crono1973 Companies sell products to make money. They know scalpers are a thing so they can include them in their calculations for demand. If the scalpers then buy the product it only helps make the company even more money. It's a simple trick to increase profits while simultaneously getting rid of the problem.

@Yoshi3 I have a copy of FSA but I've only ever played it solo. It's decent but I'm sure multiplayer is where the real fun comes from. I hope they add it to NSO to make it more accessible.

Interestingly at 0:35 they show Tingle saying his catchphrase with "Become an item!", the item in question being the Tingle Tuner. The fact they're highlighting this moment in the trailer gives me some hope that they may have found a way to make the Tingle Tuner work.

Edit: on the topic of which version is better, the Tingle Tuner is exclusive to the original so that's one reason to play this version over HD.

Scalpers shouldn't even be a thing, especially for products that aren't limited. Nobody should ever buy a new product above the official asking price. If nobody buys from them they will go out of business and the problem will sort itself out.

I'm part of the chosen few and already ordered my Switch 2 during work yesterday. I got the bundle along with the Pro controller, GameCube controller and a micro SD Express card which totalled to over €700 so I won't be spending much more money on games this year.

Mario Kart World is the only game for me. With the new game prices I'm going to have to be a lot more selective about which games I buy. I'll probably pick up Welcome Tour though if it has some nice minigames because I do like to try all the new features the system has.

Honestly DK Bananza hasn't impressed me that much. I LOVE DK64 and Bananza seems too different from that so I'll need to be convinced.

Too easy! I'm happy with my 4th place since I took the time to look at all the answers. Playing all the Zelda games finally payed off.

I want to know about GBA connectivity. The Tingle Tuner in Wind Waker requires it and if they eventually add Four Swords Adventures it also needs it for multiplayer.

What's insane about this is that he can beat the game faster while blindfolded than I can normally. Not that I've ever attempted a speedrun or even recorded my time but I'm sure it would take me at least 2 hours. Blindfolded I wouldn't even be able to get a single star.

@Sylamp the Wii is about twice as old as the N64 was when it got added to VC. The 3DS is also a little older.

I'm not saying this will happen as I'm skeptical about file sizes and the fact they've already started porting those games but saying they aren't old enough simply isn't true.

There isn't really any game on the Switch I can't live without. I voted for Ultimate even though I haven't even really played it since it stopped getting updated. I'm glad someone voted for Hentai Waifu 5 so I don't have to make that joke.

Thinking about it though, in terms of how much I go back to it maybe I should've voted Pokemon Scarlet since it's helped me complete my living dex.

Like Zuljaras said, this game never came out in Europe. It only ever got a Virtual Console release which is an emulation of the NA version.

The gameplay looks super fun to me and exactly what people have been asking for. I really feel like it might become one of my favourite Pokemon games.

I never trade in consoles. Also I'm keeping it so that I can do things like trade Pokemon with myself.

Europe and America shouldn't be lumped together here. They have entirely different logos and you've split them up for less in the past.

Since it's blank maybe it's a delete save data button. A simple press on the button deletes the save data of the game you're currently playing.

This pretty much confirms Mario Kart 9 as the launch title.

Edit: Which I'm totally okay with. We've been waiting for a new Mario Kart for 10 years now.

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age on Gamecube is an incredible game. It's an RPG with really cool mechanics (though apparently taken from FFX which I've yet to play) and a nice parallel side adventure to the actual story.

2. Dragon Quest XI S: 151 hours
3. Pokemon Scarlet: 50 hours

Makes sense. Dragon Quest XI was the big game for me this year and Breakers is 50% sitting in queue waiting.

I'm really hoping for a repeat of 7 years ago with Bayonetta, where they had a trailer for 3, with 1 + 2 coming in February. Except this time it will be for Metroid Prime. Prime 4 trailer with Prime 2 and 3 announced for February.

I'm not really expecting it but it's the best I can hope for.

Miyamoto even mentioned it in the SNW Direct so I really do expect it to be coming very soon. It just feels like the right time.

Also Donkey Kong 64 is one of the best games ever made. Just wanted to put that out there.

I used to love this game on pc back in the day. Playing it on console will feel weird but the review did take some of my worries away. I'll probably pick this up some day.

Absolutely! It will be a combined Nintendo Direct/Indie Word/Partner Showcase/Switch 2 reveal/Zelda Movie Direct/Pokemon Presents. The Indie World will end with Silksong. This will also be where Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are finally revealed for Switch. It will be announced December 11th and air at the same time as the Game Awards.

I checked and it has a 12+ rating in Japan. How on earth did it get rejected in the west? Surely it could've gotten a 16+ or even 18+ rating here and would've been fine.

I bought it for the sake of preservation, though I haven't touched the game since it first released.

This game isn't available in my region but I've been playing it through other means and been having a blast. Though it's probably a good thing I'm prevented from spending money on it.

@PikminMarioKirby I still haven't played the Luigi's mansion series because I want to start with the first one and am still waiting for it to come to Switch

@Yoshi3 anyone saying that hasn't played the Oracle games. They're more different from each other than BotW and TotK are. They have completely unique maps and gameplay elements.

I still haven't played this game so that's actually a spoiler for me. Though that's not the first time I've seen that spoiler unfortunately.

@Pipulitoch yeah over here games sell for around 55 Euros on release day depending on what retailer you buy from. Then the price usually goes down further as time goes on. But the official price that's on the eShop stays 60 which is ultimately what retailers base it on. So if it was 50 Euros to start with it would then be closer to 40 at retailers making it much more affordable.

I wish Nintendo priced more of their lower budget games at €50. Don't get me wrong I love Returns, I actually prefer it over Tropical Freeze, but from the looks of it this is just a bare minumum HD upscale that adds the 3DS content. It shouldn't cost the same as Mario Odyssey. Especially when Prime Remaster is randomly €40 when it actually deserved to cost more.

I would love to get this game but I can't really justify it at €60 when I already have the Wii version.

If they add a new game every week this could actually be very cool and give something to look forward to each week.

If they add a bunch of games randomly with months between them like they do for the NSO consoles though... yeah who am I kidding that's totally what they're going to do.

I mean, considering the original is already on the Switch, it wouldn't really make sense to put the remaster on the same console. Switch 2 makes a lot more sense.

@JohnnyMind I'm not really a fan of horror either but last Halloween I tried Resident Evil (the remake on Switch) for the first time and absolutely loved it. I love Metroid and Zelda games and as weird as it might sound RE gave me big metroidvania vibes. Just mixed with the survival aspect of limited resources. It has difficulty options too so you can start on easy like I did to get to know the game (I went on to do multiple playthroughs). I highly recommend it.

I'm planning on playing RE4 for the first time this Halloween. I've heard good things so I'm excited to try it out.
