I'm thinking of picking this up but might wait a bit since this will probably go on sale at some point. I recently played through Rebirth a few months ago on PS5, it's a great game and I had fun time with it.

I feel that most casual movie goers would be critical of a Metroid movie and say this is a rip off of Alien which we all know draws tons of inspiration from it. Metroid in my opinion might work better as an animated series like a 12 episode Anime.

Guess we'll see though since rumours of a live action Metroid have been around for years.

Still playing the Star Force Collection, currently playing the 3rd and last game of the Trilogy. This is the first time playing SF3 since maybe 2011 and for me it's still one of the best Mega Man games I've ever played and one of the best games made for the Nintendo DS that got overlooked back in the day.

Other than that I might start Pragmata at some point once I beat Star Force 3.

Pretty cool this is a freebie. Doesn't matter which Mega Man series the soundtrack is always godly and Battle Network is no exception along with Star Force.

I have all the Legacy Collections and the Star Force one is by far the best collection Capcom has made so far. The quality of life changes are so helpful especially when grinding for battle cards.

I was in the same boat with some people where at the time Pragmata wasn't even on my radar until I played the demo on Switch 2. The demo convinced me the game was worth buying and this is why demos are so important.

Still chipping away through the Star Force Collection. Beat the second game now and focusing on the post game content.

I also picked up Pragmata and Monster Hunter Stories 3. Haven't started those two yet but I'm thinking of starting Pragmata once I finish the Star Force collection.

Capcom has killed it this year, it's a reminder how they are one of the best third party developers in the business.

I've had Lunar Lux on my radar for a while, it's also on sale right now in the eshop so I'm thinking of giving it a shot.

I never found any of the Xbox exclusives appealing to me, so if they were to shift back to the old school mentality of exclusivity it wouldn't really bother me as I don't care for the brand.

Nintendo and Sony already fill my console needs. I own a series S but don't see myself ever buying a Xbox ever again.

I'm always a fan of Capcom games and the demo impressed me enough to pre order it. Plus I like supporting third parties that prioritize the Switch 2.

I was very impressed by the Switch 2 version of Requiem, good to hear this runs well on Switch 2 that's reason alone for me to buy this.

Capcom has been on a roll this year starting with RE Requiem, Monster Hunter Stories 3, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection and now Pragmata. All of these games I've either bought or plan on buying.

Still playing through the Star Force legacy collection. I finished playing through the first game and started the second game now. Capcom has done an excellent job with the quality of life improvments. It's been a blast revisiting this underrated series.

I'm onboard for remaking some of the older Zelda's like the NES and Oracle games. The first Zelda is a classic but it hasn't aged as well as the other games in the series and same goes for Zelda 2.

The Oracle games would make sense since Nintendo or Grezzo can just reuse the Links Awakening engine.

Pragmata I'll probably get but might hold off since I'm still playing through the Star Force Trilogy.

Phantasy Star Ages is missing same with the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection.

Nice to see Star Force in the Japanese charts at 2. It's been a blast replaying these games after all these years.

I stopped caring what movie critics have said years ago, best way to rate any movie is go see it for yourself. I had a good time with the first movie and this one I can watch with my niece who's pretty excited for this.

Playing through Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, starting with the first game and Capcom put a lot great QoL improvments to these games. It's been a blast revisiting these games, last time I played through Star Force must had been when I was in High School so this has been nostalgic for me.

I also beat The Frog for Whom the Bell Tolls. After beating the game I can say it's one of the best Gameboy games I've played. It's quirky, it's charming and fun. Hopefully one day Nintendo localizes this.

Also beat Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water. The game is good it definitely has a different horror vibe than other games I've played. The combat is still a bit clunky though and never feels quite right.

I have a feeling the Star Fox rumour is true, having Fox in the Mario movie probably isn't a coincidence.

A Zelda OoT Remake would be awesome but makes me wonder if this is actually a remake or is this a port of the 3DS remake with updated visuals? Either way I'd be happy.

Base PS5 will be $819.99 CAD which is wild for a console. We've already seen Xbox also increase the price of their console and Nintendo for sure will follow next .

This basically confirms the Nintendo Cinematic Universe or the Miyamoto Verse if we wanna get technical.

Voted for Leon, he's basically the face of the franchise at this point even though Chris and Jill are the OGs.

Loved playing these games when I was in highschool. The gameplay is pretty simple but it's a fun battle system and the characters are very charming in my opinion (Harp Note being the best incarnation of Roll). I also enjoyed the story for these games, they're basic but work well for what Capcom was trying to aim for. There are even some dark themes such as depression, anxiety and suicide.

Great to see an underrated series have a spotlight.

Sony has become very Westernized since the PS1 days and it's core focus has shifted to the Western markets for many years now.

Majority of their first party games don't really cater to the Japanese audience nowadays and the PlayStation brand is basically Japanese in name only with Sony of America making all the big decisions.

Decided to start Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water since I was in a horror mood after beating Requiem. This is the first time I'm playing a game in this series and so far I like it. It does feel clunky though kinda like the PS1 era horror games but the atmosphere is top notch.

Also playing The Frog for whom the Bell tolls, the game really is like Zelda mixed with light RPG elements plus platforming. It has that Nintendo charm and the fan translation is great.

Also playing through Leaf Green.

I wasn't the biggest fan of her voice for Zelda but I got used to it over time. Nothing against her personally but I feel that if Nintendo wanted to have Zelda with a posh accent they should have had a UK VA for the role instead of someone doing a fake accent.

I've beat RE Requiem and I can say it's one of the best ones that I've played. Played on Switch 2 and it was awesome. My only complaint is that Grace kinda takes a back seat to Leon in the 2nd half of the game but at the same time Leon is so iconic with the franchise and it was nostalgic going back to Racoon City.

Also started Pokemon Leaf Green again after maybe 15 years for me. It's been fun going back to my gaming roots with this one.

Another game I've started is an old Gameboy classic that's been mentioned on this site before called The Frog whom the Bell tolls. It's a pretty fun adventure RPG and the fan translation is really well done. Hopefully Nintendo brings to this to Switch Online one day with a translation or maybe even a remake.

I'm not too surprised about this as majority of voice acting is non union work when it comes to video games plus anime and all the big companies try to avoid unions like the plague.

Still playing through Resident Evil Requiem, roughly about 10 hours into the game now. The game really does feel like a celebration of the franchise as a whole, great game.

Namco has been slow to jump on the Switch 2 ship. We're seeing Capcom and Square Enix making Switch 2 versions while Namco is still focusing on Switch 1. You would think given their close relationship with Nintendo they would have gotten dev kits in advance, maybe I'm wrong about that but it just seems weird to me.

Great for Xbox fans but I have zero excitement for this since I never cared about the Xbox brand. Nintendo and Sony are the only consoles I need.

Picking this up day one, the series has a lot of charm to it and is very underrated. Capcom is on a roll this year, we got Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Monster Hunter Stories 3 and now this.

Yep my DS Lite still works perfectly with no issues. Also have a DSi XL that I modded a few years back and runs perfectly still.

Requiem is a blast to play. It's a perfect blend of survival horror and action horror. Playing as Grace left me feeling tense and scared. Playing as Leon makes you feel like John Wick and ready to kill everything.

The game looks and runs well on Switch 2. Overall Capcom has done a great job with this port.

Playing through Resident Evil Requiem and wow I'm very impressed by the port of this game. Capcom has done a fantastic job, it looks and plays great on Switch 2. The segments with Grace feel intense and having Leon use a chainsaw against zombies is so fun.

I also might start Pokemon Leaf Green too. Being a Gen 1 Pokemon fan I couldn't resist the nostalgia and ended up buying the Switch version.

I wanna see what the final forms are but Pombon is the one I would pick so far. Just hope it doesn't become yet another bipedal final evolution.

Maybe I'm being over critical but the game doesn't look next gen to me at all. Not saying it doesn't look nice but it's not the upgrade that I was expecting visually. With saying that I'm cautiously optimistic about this one, would love to get back into Pokemon since the previous generation left me disappointed.

Hopefully they finally add voice acting too but we'll see.

I was originally gonna get this for PS5 but having Resident Evil return to Nintendo got me more excited to play it in Switch 2. Glad to hear it runs well and looks great

To be honest I barely see a difference but I'm sure Monolith Soft will patch this in an update.

Don't really have any games in particular for this weekend as catching up on shows and the Olympics but I did beat Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and the game is great. It does have some pacing issues though but overall a great reimagining of a classic game.

From someone who's played all the Xenoblade games X should be ok for casual gaming as it kinda lets you play at your own pace. The battle system is a bit complicated though but was able to get by using the basics.

Sweet, now we wait until we get upgrades for the other three Xenoblade games. I'm pretty excited to see what Monolith Soft can do with the Switch 2 hardware.

After buying this replica Virtual Boy I can understand why this thing was a flop, most of the games feel like experiments but Wario is really fun.

Would I recommend this to anyone besides hardcore Nintendo fans? No. But do I regret buying this thing? Also no.

Not sure why there isn't an upgrade path option for anyone that has the Switch 1 version while Trails in the Sky had that option.

Espeon is a fav of mine for Gen 2.

Gotta go with the face of the franchise Pikachu. Pokemon Yellow was my first Pokemon game and Pikachu has been a staple on my team ever since.

If I had to rank my top 10 Pocket Monsters it would be mostly from Gen 1 and 2:

It's awesome that Castlevania is finally back but I don't like the art style from what I've seen. Maybe it's because I'm so used to the pixel art there's just something that doesn't look right here.

Anyways hopefully they optimize this for Switch 2.

Honestly the only reason I'm getting this is to be able to play as Rosalina. Love the game but the ballpark stuff I don't really care for.

I tried getting into this but everything about Hollow Knight I just found very tedious and frustrating. I see why people like it though, the art style is awesome.

Ya it's interesting that they confirmed the Switch 2 version is full physical, that alone gives me a reason to buy it over the other versions.
