I still own the Legacy collection that came with basically all the Metal Gear games on PS3. Was never a big fan of the series though but cool that they're trying to revive it after years of doing nothing with the series.

I'm probably in the 20 to 30 hour range. Not sure yet since it hasn't been 10 days since I got it so my Switch won't show me the actual hours.

I'll usually play 2 to 3 hours a day after work.

Not really surprising but I am surprised it beat out Botw's initial launch. Guess it's because the Swtich user base already exists compared to it just beginning to grow.

The game is awesome so far from what I played.

Glad to see Monolith Soft getting some well deserved recognition. They've become such an important part of Nintendo and I'm always looking forward to seeing what games they'll develop next.

If Nintendo ever decided to revive Golden Sun I think Monolith Soft could help in that department since they know how to make darn good JRPGs like Xenoblade.

You're not the only one. I love Mega Man Zero and ZX. But I could never get into any of the Gunvolt games, the whole tag enemies then hold a button to attack was awkward. It just breaks the flow of the game when you need to do that for every enemy. I know Gunvolt 3 is a bit different from what I heard but the first 2 I'm not a fan of them.

Don't think V is better than VI but I love FF V. The job system is fun to use and the game doesn't get enough love.

It's great to see this selling so well. I'm honestly a bit surprised it hit 1 million sales that quickly but we'll deserved. All we need now is some brand new Mega Man games.

The game that started it all for me and introduced me to the world of Fire Emblem. The trio of Lyn, Hector and Eliwood were so memorable and the story had me hooked from start to finish as a kid.

I recently beat it again and it's just as good as I remember. It's a true classic and still one of the best in the series. Awakening may be the game that saved the franchise but this is the one that layed the foundation for the series globally.

I'm surprised Ivy is so low on the list, I loved her character. Her design seems to be the stereotypical femme fatale but her true personality was completely different than what I was expecting.

If I were to rank my favs I would go: Ivy, Yunaka, Alear, Diamont and Lapis.

Nothing really surprising since he's been a producer for a few recent games. His legacy will always be mixed with that Mighty No. 9 fiasco, which to this day they still failed to fulfill promises, game ended up being garbage and was a gong show of a Kickstarter.

I honestly don't know how I missed these games back during my GBA heydays. I'm having a blast playing through the first game for the first time ever.

Wayforward deserves praise for the work they put into these remakes. Makes me wonder if Nintendo would consider letting them handle other dormant IPs like Golden Sun, F-Zero and Kid Icarus.

Waiting for my copy to come in the mail as we speak, pretty excited to play em.

X-2 was the first one I played and I hated it at the time. The first one that I actually went through and beat was Final Fantasy 1 on GBA. Nowadays I love the series but haven't gotten through all of them yet. I've beaten 1 to 7 including the remake.

Buying this day 1, never played these before and looking forward to finally get a chance to play this remake. Makes me wonder how well it's going to sell though. The series has traditionally performed very poorly in Japan but hoping for the best.

Pretty sure I heard Chris Hackney's voice talking to Zelda in the trailer. First thing came to my head was oh that sounds like Dimitri from Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Needless to say I can't wait to play this game. It's been so long since the last main Zelda entry and I'm ready to save Hyrule once again.

This. Not sure why Capcom never included them in the original Legacy collection. With the 3DS eshop gone there's no legal way to buy them on modern consoles now.

This was the Mega Man series I grew up with and I'm looking forward to playing through all 6 of these games again for the first time in years.

Pretty cool that almost every Mega Man series is now available on Switch. Only missing Legends and Star Force now.

Just came back from the theatre and I loved it. Was just a really fun movie to watch, 8 or 9 for me. The animation was gorgeous and had a nice simple story. Critic's may not like it but who cares?

Despite being a huge fan of Fire Emblem I've never played the GBA Advance Wars games before. I've only played Days of Ruin back on DS years ago which I thought was a great game.

Looking forward to play through these games for the first time ever.

I love the movies but never played the games. Closest thing for me is the Uncharted games lol

Obviously I'm biased but the Battle Network Collection I'm buying day one and Advance Wars which has been a long time coming which I also plan to buy.

E3 served a purpose back then and it had some great moments like the Twilight Princess reveal. But now there really is no point especially with the big three doing things their way with Nintendo Direct style videos to relay info.

I honestly can't see Nintendo or any of the big 3 to even bother with E3 moving forward. Why bother with live stage gaffs when you can edit and provide info at your own pace through online videos?

Yes there is a digital release thankfully if you don't want to pay a premium for the physical copy.

For me personally I still do. If it's a movie Franchise or show that I really love then I'll buy a blu ray copy of it.

I've owned 3, one was the original Aqua Blue model then I sold it for the new 3DS XL Red, then I bought a new 3DS regular on eBay as a backup system years later.

Finally we get some footage that is longer than 2 mins. Kinda crazy this game is coming out soon and I'm looking forward to it.

I can say I've done some last minute shopping this past week. Hard to believe this is the end to the eshop for the 3DS and Wii U.

As for my sleeper pick I would say Stella Glow surprised me. It's a great game for people who like strategy games and the plot was a lot more interesting than I expected.

Maybe one day I'll give these games a try but my backlog keeps on growing every year. Love the Pun for this review though lol

Paper Mario TTYD is one of those games that has aged very well both in terms of visuals and gameplay. So not really sure what a remake can improve on but I would love to play a HD remaster of it regardless.

My vote went to Path of Radiance, it would be amazing to see it remade with updated battle animations and full voice acting like modern FE games.

Japan just doesn't like Metroid for whatever reason. Like people mentioned it could be because it's the most westernized game Nintendo has or maybe it's the sci Fi setting.

But on a side note I'm playing through the remaster right now and it's amazing. Wish Prime 2 and 3 get ported to Switch at some point

That's the only explanation I can think of too. The game does have some fanservice, maybe that was missed during their initial review of it?

I've already bought all the DLC and nearing the end of the game. Looking forward to playing more paralogue maps and extending my playthrough of it.

I've put in over 100 hours into Engage and needless to say I'm loving it.

Nothing for me this month in terms of Switch games. Already bought Fire Emblem Engage last month and still having a blast with it. Next month has me more excited with the Battle Network Collection and Advance Wars remakes coming out soon.

Fates and Echoes doesn't really have similar DLC where it features older characters or maps from previous games like Awakening did. Fates does let you summon older characters like Marth, Roy, Lucina and Ike if you have their Amiibos and after you beat them in battle they can join your army.

I would say if you want a bit of nostalgia play FE Engage if you haven't already, the game is basically a celebration of the past 30 years of the series and has many call backs to older games.

As for Awakening I haven't bought the Apotheosis DLC myself but from what I heard from a friend it's worth it if you want a challenging map.

No problem. The DLC to get some of these are expensive for sure. If you have any other questions feel free to ask since I've played all the 3DS Fire Emblems and purchased most of the added story DLCs.

I would say the prologue DLC for Echoes is worth it if you want a bit more back story but it's not necessary to understand the plot. There's also DLC that gives you 4 new characters but again you may or may not even use them during the main story. As for everything else I would say no.

Yeah like many people have already mentioned Valis should have been one single collection not split into two. The only one worth getting in this collection is Valis 4, I'm hoping they release it as a standalone game like the previous collection did.

Also the price is way too high, the Canadian price for this is 60 dollars.

True, it was also on DS so the Switch should have no issues running it lol

If they ported the old COD games to Switch I would consider buying them. World at War and the original Modern Warfare were great.

Even though I liked the first one for me it got a bit repetitive and I ended dropping it before I beat all 8 stories. I only ended up finishing Ophelia's and Cyrus's path. The HD 2D looks amazing though and it's certainly on my to play list at some point.

Symphonia has aged for sure but there's a certain charm to it that makes the game still fun to play. Maybe that's just nostalgia but I do agree the writing in the Tales series in general is mediocre and the gameplay for me becomes super repetitive.

As for the other games I've played in the series, (Eternia, Abyss, Xillia and Graces) I thought they were just ok. Solid games but would never say they are must plays though.

Got mine when I was kid for Christmas back in 2005. Growing up I never had the latest systems, my family wasn't poor but when there is a household of 4 children for a middle-class family money can be tight. So buying videos games wasn't a priority for my parents and rightfully so.

When I got a GBA SP along with Super Mario Advance 2 I was so happy, it introduced me to the world of Nintendo and to gaming in general. I still have my original SP to this day albeit I had to change the shell since it got worn out.

It's one of my favourite gaming devices of all time.

When I played my first Zelda Oracle of Seasons as a kid I didn't know you could turn off caps so I ended up calling him LINK.

So everytime I play a new Zelda my first playthrough I always end up naming him LINK in caps, it's a little tradition I do now.

The PS5 being in stock more frequently certainly helps. I'll probably pick one up when they eventually release a slim version. The model they have now is massive and kinda ugly looking.

I can't get over how cute that dog looking thing is. The visuals of this game look great

I live in Canada we already pay 79.99 for games without tax for Switch games and Xbox Series and PS5 games cost 89.99. So yes I would pay more since we all know Nintendo games rarely go on sale and when they do it's years down the line.

Bold prediction: Virtual Boy 2 gets announced

In all seriousness should be interesting to see what Nintendo has planned this year

I never knew there was a way to play GameCube games on a Series S. This gives me a reason to actually use the darn thing besides playing Halo and Goldeneye.
