@JustMonika You'd be surprised by how many people don't keep up with current anime and only care about the ones they've watched years ago (if they even care about anime at all).
Back when the direct aired, it was bit funny (if a little bit frustrating) that of all the people I follow, only one guy knew Spy X Family and had a modicum of interest for the game.
That's a very specific way of triggering it, but not exactly hard for those that registered the box legendary sooner than they were technically supposed to. Still, hopefully there's a fix.
I'm really sorry, but you're either playing devil's advocate, or you know something and want to gauge the reaction first... hopefully it's just the former.
@Kazman2007 Unless it's actually explained in some outside material, we'll just have to assume that Calamity Ganon was Ganondorf's evil gradually leaking out over the course of ages.
@rjejr Looking by the comments section, a bunch of people would have preferred a more tragic ending. I just think that after everything Zelda went through in both games, she deserved it.
I kind of hope they release a complete version with all the content for the next console, if only for the chance to make it as good as the other versions (without the limitations of the Switch port).
I just choose to accept that the events of BotW and TotK (including the events in the latter's flashbacks) happen SO FAR in the future that the rest of the series is pretty much irrelevant to their plot.
The only games I ever sold were ones I was sure I had zero attachment to, so I don't really regret it.
What I DO regret is disposing of all my Gamecube game cases (and a few DS ones). Unless those are forgotten inside a moving box somewhere.
@Araquanid I only hope this never becomes a problem regarding pokémon deposited in Home. I never did any genning, but I can't be so sure about certain unique ones I got through trades, no matter how legit all their data seems to be (and I even compare OTs and obtained dates for event pokémon).
I'm honestly curious to know how they are checking if the pokémon are hacked, since it's possible to make them indistinguishable from legit ones at a basic glance.
I realized that getting into the games' content is a lot more rewarding the least I know beforehand, so I'm going to skip it and catch up with the more relevant information later.
Something that I despise about the Yiga (in a completely intended way) is that unlike the monsters - that are either too stupid, bestial and/or made of evil to know any better - these guys CHOOSE to be part of a doomsday cult over a petty, old grudge, made even worse with how much more we learn about their society in TotK; and this, combined with their somewhat inexplicable adoration of a bumbling leader, reminds me too much of certain real life groups. In other words, they did a pretty great job creating an enemy team that I will go out of my way to mess with.
They obviously would not add even close to all the tracks from the game that are worthy of being included, but it's still odd that the first battle theme isn't present.
If the service is open for discounts, that's another reason for me to wait to test it. The other being the inclusion of at least one game I've never played and really want to.
I'm glad I already got enough of the hardest-to-get materials, but it would be nice to know if the last known duplication trick still works, since you need hundreds of certain slightly common items (amber, luminous stones and opal) to fully upgrade all armors.
SMBW and SMRPG are potential choices for the one I still have, but I'm willing to wait until something else even more enticing gets announced before May next year.
I'm still not even halfway in TotK, and I have to say that for as great as it is and how well it evolves what was introduced before, it does NOT make BotW obsolete/skippable. There's just something irreplaceable about the first game's vibe.
I just hope they reach the expected initial sales to make sure the series doesn't become dormant again. Because I really don't have that much spending money to get this right now.
Doesn't Japanese society still struggle to be accommodating to the handicapped? I feel that this might have some relation with the fact that Nintendo has always been kind of traditionalist.
I don't know if dragon parts are still a thing in TotK, but if they are, I hope I'm able to use this for those. Grinding for those wasn't really the most exciting part of the game.

Re: Review: Sonic Superstars - A Fine, Authentic-Feeling Return That Runs Great On Switch
So this appears to be excellent as a single-player game. Good enough for me!

Re: Poll: Do You Prefer Zelda: Wind Waker HD's Bloom Lighting Or The "Flat" OG?
The HD version's bloom wasn't a deal breaker for me, but I do think the original style looks better.
Re: Sonic Superstars' New Multiplayer Battle Mode Detailed By SEGA
It's weird to see an actual Metal Tails and not Tails Doll.

Re: Vampire Survivors Tops The Switch eShop Charts In US, UK & Japan
@Captain_Toad People that already got it on PC/Xbox/Mobile, most likely.
Re: The Next Xenoblade Will Be "Vastly Different" Says Monolith Soft Director
@MirrorFate2 Never say never.
Re: Feature: TikTok, Smash Bros., And Shaking Up 'Samba De Amigo' With Series Creator Shun Nakamura
Smash IS lacking a representative for rhythm/ music games. No, DK doesn't count.
Re: Talking Point: Zelda: TOTK Isn't A Shoo-In For GOTY 2023, And That's A Good Thing
I don't need TotK to win Game of the Year, but I also don't need people looking down on it if it doesn't.
Re: Talking Point: The Games We Got Rid Of - What Were We Thinking?
The only games I ever sold were ones I was sure I had zero attachment to, so I don't really regret it.
What I DO regret is disposing of all my Gamecube game cases (and a few DS ones). Unless those are forgotten inside a moving box somewhere.
Re: Talking Point: After Three Months, What's Your Zelda: TOTK Completion Percentage?
I did everything but most of the optional minigames and getting all of the Korok seeds - and as far as I'm concerned, that's enough.
Re: Super Mario Bros. Live-Action Movie Getting 4K Anniversary Screening (Japan)
I guess the success of the new movie made it safer to acknowledge the old one.

Re: Pokémon Scarlet And Violet News Teased For World Championships' Closing Ceremony
@Chinesus It already hurts enough without people making light of the problem.

Re: Pokémon Scarlet And Violet News Teased For World Championships' Closing Ceremony
@Chinesus @Burning_Spear Even though you're right to some extent, there's no need to sound so smug.
Re: Nintendo's New Development Building Reportedly Delayed Due To "Expansion Plan"
This is a kind of long-term planning I can't quite wrap my head about, but can still respect.
Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Builds Up To Mewtwo With Next Tera Raid Event
@Dr_Lugae Since it will likely be packing Aura Sphere, good luck with that.
Re: Soapbox: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC Is A Chance To Win Back Disenchanted Fans
Going by the comments, it seems it's already far too late for many people.

Re: Good Smile Restocking Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Nendoroid, Pre-Order Now
It's a bit weird to see Zelda with long hair again.
Re: Theatrhythm Final Bar Line Reveals New DLC Song Pack For October
They really laser-focused on the more final-battle related themes for BDII.
Re: Talking Point: Would A Third Wave Of Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Have Been Too Much?
For my favorites, I'd have to say Terry for overall content (so much music and the best stage) and Banjo & Kazooie for personal bias.

Re: PSA: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom News Channel Giving Out Free In-Game Items
Some people take these news a little too personally.

They obviously would not add even close to all the tracks from the game that are worthy of being included, but it's still odd that the first battle theme isn't present.
Re: PSA: Pikmin 4 Has Already Leaked Online, Watch Out For Spoilers
I know the plot of those games isn't exactly the highest priority, but I don't know what some people get by being openly dismissive about it.

Re: Nintendo Sees Potential In The Metaverse, But Thinks It Would Be 'Difficult'
Nintendo's tendency for being old-fashioned with technology can be a real boon occasionally.

Re: Sonic Superstars Shows Off Amy's "Modern" Outfit, Free To Newsletter Subscribers
That's cute. Not enough to use it if it clashes with any pre-rendered cutscenes, but still.
Re: Can You Match These Zeldas To The Game They're From?
I think this is the first time I got full marks on one of these - though I was definitely guessing on a couple of them.
Re: Japanese Charts: Etrian Odyssey Origins Sees Strong Debut, But Nothing Troubles Zelda: TOTK
It's honestly a relief to see Etrian Odyssey doing so well.
Re: Nintendo Highlights The History Of Zelda's "Mighty Demon King" Ganondorf
The poll is just missing his appearance in Hyrule Warriors.
Re: Soapbox: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom's Busier Hyrule Is Making Me Miss BOTW

Re: Review: Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection - Divine Dungeon Crawling But Not Definitive
@Fizza Not to sound harsh, but good luck finding a resold copy cheaper than $40.
Re: Poll: Will You Be Updating Your Copy Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?
Not until I've got a proper stock of a few rare-to-get items.
Re: Umbreon And Leafeon Are Joining Pokémon Unite's Roster Soon
Weird how the only ones yet to be included are the original three.

Re: Random: The Internet Is Still Obsessed With Purah's Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Look
If people are only taking notice now, it's a sign that Age of Calamity simply didn't have the same reach.

I don't know if dragon parts are still a thing in TotK, but if they are, I hope I'm able to use this for those. Grinding for those wasn't really the most exciting part of the game.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th May (North America)
