They really laser-focused on the more final-battle related themes for BDII.

For my favorites, I'd have to say Terry for overall content (so much music and the best stage) and Banjo & Kazooie for personal bias.

Something that I despise about the Yiga (in a completely intended way) is that unlike the monsters - that are either too stupid, bestial and/or made of evil to know any better - these guys CHOOSE to be part of a doomsday cult over a petty, old grudge, made even worse with how much more we learn about their society in TotK; and this, combined with their somewhat inexplicable adoration of a bumbling leader, reminds me too much of certain real life groups. In other words, they did a pretty great job creating an enemy team that I will go out of my way to mess with.

Some people take these news a little too personally.

They obviously would not add even close to all the tracks from the game that are worthy of being included, but it's still odd that the first battle theme isn't present.

I know the plot of those games isn't exactly the highest priority, but I don't know what some people get by being openly dismissive about it.

If the service is open for discounts, that's another reason for me to wait to test it. The other being the inclusion of at least one game I've never played and really want to.

I'm glad I already got enough of the hardest-to-get materials, but it would be nice to know if the last known duplication trick still works, since you need hundreds of certain slightly common items (amber, luminous stones and opal) to fully upgrade all armors.

Nintendo's tendency for being old-fashioned with technology can be a real boon occasionally.

SMBW and SMRPG are potential choices for the one I still have, but I'm willing to wait until something else even more enticing gets announced before May next year.

That's cute. Not enough to use it if it clashes with any pre-rendered cutscenes, but still.

I think this is the first time I got full marks on one of these - though I was definitely guessing on a couple of them.

It's honestly a relief to see Etrian Odyssey doing so well.

I'm still not even halfway in TotK, and I have to say that for as great as it is and how well it evolves what was introduced before, it does NOT make BotW obsolete/skippable. There's just something irreplaceable about the first game's vibe.

I just hope they reach the expected initial sales to make sure the series doesn't become dormant again. Because I really don't have that much spending money to get this right now.

Doesn't Japanese society still struggle to be accommodating to the handicapped? I feel that this might have some relation with the fact that Nintendo has always been kind of traditionalist.

If people are only taking notice now, it's a sign that Age of Calamity simply didn't have the same reach.

I don't know if dragon parts are still a thing in TotK, but if they are, I hope I'm able to use this for those. Grinding for those wasn't really the most exciting part of the game.

I hope people don't take these comments as an excuse to say that Pokémon is inherently inferior; it really doesn't feel like it's the developers' intent.

That comment about the translation makes me imagine that the Japanese script might be a lot more straightforward and less intentionally comedic compared to the English version. Kind of like how it happens with the Mario RPGs.

I'm not sure what's the point the people going "this makes me want to smoke/continue smoking" are trying to make. You find the ad so stupid that you'll do something hazardous to your health just to spite it?
And if it's "just a joke", it's not really funny.

I'm sure the situation was nowhere as serious as I thought, but it's still good to see confirmation that Christina Vee wasn't actually blacklisted by Nintendo for breaching the NDA back when she was going to voice Edelgard in Three Houses.
And the cast is packing a lot more established talent than I expected.

Curious how a bunch of these games are definitely coming to the West, despite only showing up in the Japanese video. Hopefully this includes Rose and Camellia - it's by the creators of La-Mulana, and has the potential to go places worldwide (even if just as the meme game of the month).

The Japanese box would be an easy pick if it wasn't for the bright pink background. It clashes too much with the artwork.

"Ruin friendships" is an understatement - this game makes Mario Party feel as non-volatile as Animal Crossing. I recommend the playthroughs by TheRunawayGuys and WoolieVS to get a feel of this madness.

Considering that they have released The Great Ace Attorney duology for the Switch with significant success, I'd say it's only a matter of time before the second trilogy of the mainline series is announced.

@Dr-M No idea, but I'm currently halfway through Bravely Default II and still want to play Trials of Mana, Metroid Dread, and Xenoblade. The last one in particular might take me a while, what with my job and other obligations.

Man, I wish I could be playing this now, but I'm set on waiting until I've finished my backlog AND I get an opportunity to buy a physical version.

Well, I'm glad I was able to leverage an earlier sale to get a couple of Etrian Odyssey games I had lost a while ago.

I imagine they couldn't find a cat like Morgana to promote this, and it's the only reason why they didn't.

@Bolt_Strike Strange, the Walking Wake that I caught was Serious, while the Iron Leaves was Docile.

I have no idea when I'll get it, but I might start a tradition of beginning with the merchant.
