Re: It's Official, The Switch Is Nintendo's Best-Selling Console Of All Time

But I think PS2 is still the Best of All.
I grew up a lot by PS2 games like DDR, K-1, Monster Rancher 4, Harvest Moon games, FF X/X-2, FF XII, etc.
Used to be I was really hyped with Switch 1.
But after I got PS5, my hyped changed to PS5.
PS5 is my number 1 choice and Switch 1 is on number 3.
I still have some interest with Switch 1, but it's not as strong as 9 years ago.

My PS5 games purchased have game data inside so it will be installed from the disc onto my PS5 internal storage.
I don't play AAA games with gargantuan GB size.
I mostly played kids games with smaller GB size that have game data inside the disc.
Game key card has NO game data inside and you must download the game data from eshop. In the future when the eshop get closed, you cannot download the game data anymore.
And that's the reason I'm against game key card.
I'm thinking about their fate in the future.

I am real human, 41 years old dude, not a bot spam.
Before I purchase the games, I have to check their medium release.
I don't even see game key card as a right product to buy for me as physical games collector so I will keep avoiding the Switch 2 version games with game key card and choose other console version instead to get proper physical games.
I'm not drinking kool aid and pretending how wonderful is game key card.

I still keep pursuing my gaming hobby.
I still buy physical games for my collection.
I have rights to decide which version of the games that give me more satisfaction in term of their medium to sell the games.
Looking at the list above, there are some games I want to get but after seeing a lot of them are game key cards, I decided to choose the other version (PS5) because their games get proper physical release.
And you can't told me to stop gaming and choose playing board games instead.
You have no rights to say what I have to do.

My opinion, I don't even like Mario Sunshine gameplay control especially the FLUDD.
It was way harder to aim the FLUDD than aiming the weapons in Ratchet & Clank games and the reason I sold my Super Mario 3D All Stars long time ago.
I didn't grow up by GameCube games and I found certain 1st party GameCube games are too gimmicky for my taste after I compared with my gameplay experiences from other machines like PS1 / PS2.

Wii Sports & Sports Resort are great gimmicky Nintendo games but the Mii character body design was poor at that time compared with modern Mii games on Switch.
LABO was great idea too from Nintendo, but now my LABO cardboards ended in the attic room because I have no longer desire to use them and I found the rubber rings already melted due the time.

Life SIM games can be interesting if you have interest in designing or drawing.
This game type is perfect for thinker with their abstract ideas.
Also, playing like in real life activities are not merely reflecting our actual daily activities.
It can be delivered in whimsical way so you will not experience feeling so high until flying in the sky when you feel really excited in real life, but you can see the hilariously whimsical reaction of feeling hyped in Tomodachi Life.
You will not able to do that whimsical reaction in real life, but you can make virtual character in video games have whimsical reaction.
I believe you will start to smile to see that whimsical reaction, it worth to be given the credit.
Designing, watch the whimsical reaction, getting engaged in funny activities, it will be engaging and fun when you try to like these stuffs.

ACNH and Tomodachi Life are completely different games, despite they have similarities as Life SIM games.
In ACNH, you can take control of your character and do some actions from your tools, the folks are animals, it has decorating rooms like The Sims.
Tomodachi Life is much like Tamagotchi style game which your Mii is your "pet", you can feed them, you can pet them, you can give them stuffs, you can make them socialize with other Mii, you type your own words to give answer to your Mii if they asked, you cannot decorate your house like The Sims style.
ACNH characters just made gibberish animalese sounds while Tomodachi Life using AI voice sample like Vocaloid and they can speak with specific language settings.

2. How big is the size of our island?
3. Is there limitation in putting the trees and stuffs on our island?
4. Can the same gender couples have baby?
5. What stuffs we can put the design?
6. Is there Theatre for singing like 3DS version?

Tomodachi Life is more like Tamagotchi style game which you treat your Mii like pets, you can give them house, you can feed them, you can "pet" them, you can drag them with touch screen, you can interact with them, you watch your Mii interact with other Mii depend on their personality, you do quirky activities,

Pokopia is literally Dragon Quest Builders in Pokemon skins.
