Maybe it sounds trivial but to see the Wii version of Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 Wii version have feature to able using your Mii as the Save data icon in planet model while the Switch version completely have NO Mii option, for me it's kinda deal breaker as the appreciation to able of using Mii as my avatar is really small detail for players being appreciated.
I sold the Switch version as I already have finished the Wii version of Super Mario Galaxy 1 and it was unpleasant to finish that game.

Re: Rumour: A Nintendo Direct Is Set To Take Place Later This Month, It's Claimed

Anti-Matter

I don't think I want to watch upcoming Nintendo Direct live anymore with this Switch 2 situation that getting worse in my opinion.
Imagine you felt over the moon after watching the announced games on Switch 2, then you realized most of the 3rd party games are game key cards or it has very stupid restrictions or incompatibility for 1st party games after the Direct.
That will be a rollercoaster emotional feeling in negative way.
And just now, Nintendo made a survey about digital games vs game key card, without giving any options to reconsider more physical games distribution.
That was really awful decision.
Like everytime I heard more about Switch 2, the more I felt disappointed.
I don't think watching the next Nintendo Direct will make me excited with upcoming Switch 2 games with all the BS treatment and situation that will be implied on Switch 2 games. It just will hurt my feeling more.
Used to be I really defend Switch 1 back in year 2017 because it was pretty good during that time, but now I don't think I can defend Switch 2 like Switch 1 with every BS stuffs I found.
Well, blame to Nintendo CEO to make Switch 2 become more unappealing to me.

Good night.
This weekend I played The Sims 4 PS4 on my PS5 machine All Day Long. 😊

I was working on understanding the Renting system from For Rent DLC.
Also, I did some house makeovers and participating in Nature's Calling Event by doing the specific tasks to get the rewards (Items, Clothing, etc).

I work as school librarian and also teaching Math for primary school from Math Club extracurricular.
I have made my own board game inspired from Amiibo Festival rules added with my own elements to make it fit with Math activity.
The things I borrowed from Amiibo Festival are Happy Points, converting every 1000 Bells into 1 Happy point at the end of the game, the floors that give you Money or Happy points or make you lost your Money or Happy points.
But the new elements I added such as Question box (Yellow color for money reward, Purple color for Happy point reward) which I will give simple Math Question for the student who landed on Question box.
If they can answer correctly, they will get the reward (Money or Happy point).
I added also my own features such as Steal Money, Steal Happy point, Two Dices, Switch Position (change position with other player), Treasure Box (more Money reward with few Happy point), Fishing area (more Happy points reward with fewer money), the branching paths so the students can decide which path they can choose carefully.

I like Paper Mario Sticker Star by the most from all Paper Mario games I played (3DS, Wii U, Switch, GameCube) because the game have Summon 3D objects as your guardian like Final Fantasy Summon.
And I do like Amiibo Festival despite being hated by most Nintendo gamer.
I got inspired from Amiibo Festival instead, the board game from Amiibo Festival that gave me idea to make my own board game with some features from Amiibo Festival for my Math Club extra curricular activity and my students like it.
Oh, also the Desert Island Escape from Amiibo Festival was something intriguing after I played them.

Satoru Iwata >>>>> Shuntaro Furukawa in my opinion.
The games from Satoru Iwata era (NDS, Wii, 3DS and Wii U) have their charm that Switch 1 / 2 doesn't have.
NDS introduced dual screen and touch play.
Wii introduced motion play with Wiimote and Mii.
Both NDS and Wii have very beautiful art box design with White box color for Wii and refined design of NDS banner strip on the left.
3DS and Wii U have their signature design that Switch doesn't have: The app icon on their game box spine and the catchy eshop music on 3DS and Wii U, even 3DS and Wii U have their ambient home menu music.
3DS with white colored box and Wii U with baby blue colored box = beautiful combo.

I really miss Nintendo leader like Satoru Iwata.
Nobody ever can be like Satoru Iwata.
Thank you Satoru Iwata for the beautiful NDS, 3DS, Wii and Wii U that I have.

Well, finally the official trailer.
Natsume should announce the gameplay trailer first before announce the physical games pre-order as without the trailer, it will put the audience into the limbo with unsure situation.
Btw, looking at those games 10 years ago I was Nah with those Harvest Moon games.
But now me in 40 years old, saw Harvest Moon + Minecraft style of farming = Looks okay.
I will consider those bundle.

Constant whining what?
I means I have rights to criticize the game key cards practice whether you don't really care with game key card or not, but that issue really bothering me as physical games collector.
With game key card practice, even on certain 3rd party games on Switch 2 that means it will give me more reason on getting the PS5 version of 3rd party games instead.

I played Yo-Kai Sangokushi 3DS this weekend. 😃

Untitled

I got the game from local shopping website with very cheap price 100K Rupiah (around $6).
The tactic style gameplay was pretty simple and fast so I can grasp the gameplay quickly.
Unlike mainline Yo-Kai Watch games, this spinoff doesn't have much free exploration as every places are divided into territory that must be conquered and occupied, just like Sangokushi story.

At this point, when I keep finding the worse quality of 3rd party games on Switch compared with other console version, I will immediately thinking about getting PS5 version instead.
I dropped the versatile of portability at this point rather than purchasing half baked games.
I played a lot non portable games too like GameCube, Wii, Wii U, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5 (hooked on TV) so it's not really big deal for losing the portability.

Re: Romero Games Hit With Layoffs Following Microsoft Xbox Cuts

XBOX CEO is a monster now.
At this rate, he will not care about making games that can be enjoyed by everybody.
Instead, he keeps busy thinking too much about gargantuan AAA games agenda but before even the games are finished, he just cancelled the project and lay off the employees.
He just very narrow minded with his gaming idea: Game Pass, All Digital, Live Service, FPS games and AAA 18+ games.
He hates to make kids games like Nintendo for their XBOX.
And why should I buy their current XBOX machine?
I have zero reason to buy their current product.
Even there are some 3rd party kids games on current XBOX machine, they are exactly same games as PlayStation and Nintendo have.

Cozy games are huge franchise for gamers who like relaxing activities with daily chores activity because it felt like they are experiencing with real life daily chores.
Some people who considered cozy games as boring games because they want fast paced games without repetitive or tedious activity.
In cozy games like Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing or The SIMS, the secret of enjoyment of the games is from the simulation aspect which decorating or designing something that requires a lot of time to polish until looks perfect is a cozy activities for someone who don't like fast paced games.
This type of games which emphasizes on creativity rather than quick actions in rush.
Creativity needs more time to enjoy the whole games and the reason some people like cozy games because they can be creative in the games.

I want to ask.
How to tell if PS5 games using disc key from their physical games cover?
Does it have small text like REQUIRED DOWNLOAD?
And what about REQUIRES CONTENT DOWNLOAD from My Time at Sandrock PS5 physical version case?
Is this REQUIRES CONTENT DOWNLOAD from My Time at Sandrock = game key?
