2. Because Nintendo run out of ideas.

4. Because you can play them on the go.
5. Because the remakes have easier difficulty.

I still in love with PS5.
I don't care if PS5 being outnumbered by Switch 2.
The number of sales doesn't matter for me.
Keep survive, PS5.

Hopefully the physical release on Switch 2 in game card.

My gaming rules is still stay same.
Every game key card games is banned in my gaming territory, even for BLUEY.
BLUEY games got the PS5 version in physical release so I can pick the PS5 version instead.

Sony decision by discontinue physical games by year 2028 was really horrifying me as physical games collector, BUT...
It doesn't mean I cannot play PS5 anymore.
There will be the last PS5 games release until end of year 2027 and I can keep busy collecting PS5 games and other PlayStation games in physical release that I have never played before so it will keep me entertained when PS6 will going all digital.
Also, I still keep my entitled opinion about game key card that should never been exist.
I will NOT give any cent to game key card games, EVER!

I was horrified by Sony decision to discontinue PS5 physical games by year 2028, BUT...
It doesn't mean it will kill my interest with PS5.
I still love my PS5 and the games.
Sure I will not buy PS6 if all digital only, but I still able to collect PS5 games and other PlayStation games in physical release which I have never played before so it will keep me busy collecting physical games as I'm getting older.

I have planned in getting the other PlayStation games in physical release I have never played before so I will keep busy collecting physical games when PS5 have no longer physical games starting in year 2028.
I still have tons of physical games of PlayStation games from PS1 until PS5 so they are my precious collections to keep me entertained.

Well, I will not pick this game until from KOEI TECMO re-release Pokopia in game card release.
When popularity being advertised in wrong way, I will not buy that idea.

Oh, also.
Konami released DDR Grand Prix, the home version of DDR WORLD with DDR A3 interface for PC, but you must subscribe for several dollars to access 1400+ DDR songs.

PS5 sales this week separated quite far, on number 2, 5 and 8.
And I prefer DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION over than rhythm heaven games.

If you read my previous comment on the other article, the reason I despise every rated 18+ games because of my traumatic experience with those stuffs when I was kid, from both movies and video games.
That experience really made me despise with those rated 18+ stuffs when I grew up.
Even when I was high school student, I never like and got engaged into rated 18+ games when my classmates already got into those stuffs that not supposed they even played them and I felt disgusted with them,. And thus I stayed away from my classmates, never wanted to interact with them for liking those stuffs.

About the layoffs from XBOX article above, the thing that made me wonder was the obsession of Microsoft with rated 18+ AAA games that never met with the sales expectations then they just fired the developers like trash, I cannot even fathom why the hell people want to consume evil rated 18+ stuffs?
Why don't Microsoft make more kids games like Nintendo anymore?
They already did for once from their Kinect games on XBOX 360, something that I will give a praise for providing creative family games by using Kinect sensor to detect the movement as command input.
Too bad, Microsoft discontinued Kinect too early.

I have a lot of PS5 games without being disc key at all.
They have game data inside their disc.
The games directly installed from the Blu Ray disc onto my PS5 hard drive.
I mostly played very small GB size games.
Stop accusing every PS5 games like game key card.

Make Chibi Megaman like Powered Up PSP version.
Or make new Megaman Starforce style games.

Nintendo can take this opportunity by providing more smaller GB size of cartridge for 3rd party Switch 2 games then discontinue game key card to ensure the games company will choose Switch 2 version to release their games in proper physical release when the PS5 version have no longer physical release.

Now that's how to release Switch 2 games in proper physical release.
More game card release for Switch 2 by the time PS5 will have no physical release anymore.

I never said Switch 2 was a trash.
Check my previous post before assuming something.
I still salty with Switch 2 because of game key card issue, added with huge sales from Pokopia, it is really hurting my feeling as game key card is NOT something to be celebrated.
I still defend PS5 because I really enjoy the games I played on PS5, better than being played on Switch 2 as they are in physical disc Blu Ray, not game key card / disc key.
The ditches of physical games for PS5 by January 2028 was really horrifying for me as I really valued physical games so it motivated me to collect more PS5 & PS4 games I can get to keep me busy with my purchased games by the time I cannot get any PS5 physical games.
But don't get me wrong. I still keep my eyes on Switch 2, only for game card release games.
I have added on my purchase list for game card only games such as Switch Sports 2, Mario Kart World, DK Bananza, etc and some Switch 1 games to be played on Switch 2 to get 60 fps boost such as Monster Hunter Stories 1 & 2.
At this point, I still defend PS5 over Switch 2 not because of Switch 2 huge sales, but I valued more the physical games with game data inside over the game key card without any game data inside.
Other people might have no problem with game key card, but I DON'T and that's my STRICT Standard before accepting the games.

I will feel sad to see PS5 sales dropped because of yesterday announcement.

I still rooting for PS5 sales despite of the announcement of the physical games ditching in the future.
That's my number 1 console for me currently.

I got more motivation to keep my physical games stay survive longer after watching Toy Story 5.
All my purchased games like the toys in Toy Story, they might have feeling of being abandoned if I don't play them frequently.
Collecting physical games is part of my hobby and my hobby is also important for me.

I personally prefer having plastic box of physical games displayed neatly on my shelf.
I prefer inserting the disc or cartridges onto video game machines rather than tapping the digital game apps.
I really hate that convenience from being digital.
I still keep checking all my physical games condition, dusting my shelf, played some retro games for maintenance because every physical games I purchased are my little friends.
That's how to take care physical games collection.

Physical games are still very important for us the physical games collector.
I despise the convenience excuses from being digital only games.
SAFE PHYSICAL GAMES in whatsoever any cost. 🤟

So, I want to make it clear.
I believe there are some 3rd party game company who still support physical media.
By the time in January 2028, Sony said they will ditch physical media.
But if the games company still want to sell their games in Blu ray disc, is that possible or allowed legally by Sony?
I want to hear some glimpse of hope for other games which still have physical media release possibility.

Having huge collection of physical games can be fun.
You just need to organize them neatly, display them with your preference order to make it easier to find certain games, maintenance routine every month to make sure the physical games collection condition is still fine.

After watching Toy Story 5, I will give more attention to all my physical games collection as I imagine all my physical games will have a feeling being abandoned and lonely if I never played them for very long time.

There are quite a lot of kids games for PS5 like BLUEY, BARBIE, PAW PATROL, Story of Seasons, etc.
I played those games on my PS5.

The Time is counting down to January 2028.
Collect the PlayStation physical games as you can and rejoice while they are still available.
Retro route is your alternative way, guys.
Take that route to indulge yourself for available physical games you still able to play.

I have made decision.
PS5 will be the last PlayStation machine that I can enjoy the best.
I still have a lot of rooms for previous PlayStation machines such as PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1 games I have never played before so I can pretend they are "new games" for me.
Btw, I still play DDR games on Arcade even after more than 20 years, thanks to PS1 & PS2 for providing DDR games to be played for me.

Well, looks like PS5 will be the last PlayStation machine for me.
I can always hunt for older PlayStation games in physical to keep me busy.
I don't want digital only games.
I completely against game key card.
I will be physical games gamer forever.

I'm not really crazy with 1st party Switch 2 either unless there is new Animal Crossing for Switch 2 with 3D environment like at least new Tomodachi Life.
Still no White bundle so I will not get Switch 2 until I see something right for me.
Meanwhile, I can enjoy my current PS5 & Switch V1.

I don't like renting since I want to own the games I bought even though some of them are not really good games.
Also, NSO service is lack of niche games that will never exist such as Imagine series & Petz series by Ubisoft, the Japanese only 3DS / NDS games, Jake Power games, etc.
I played those niche / unpopular games since I don't care popularity.

I bought the games to be owned, not by renting so I will not spent my money for renting games that I cannot even owned forever.
Also, I prefer legit physical games.

3DS machines are the actual machines to play both 3DS and NDS games, even though the 3DS games are region lock.
I don't think I need 3DS & NDS game subscription to be played on Switch 2 since I already have four 3DS XL machines with 3 different regions and the actual 3DS game cartridges.
No BS game key card
No BS Code in box
No BS subscription for renting games

Needs more commercial buildings like Arcade, Boxing ring, Zoo, Amusement Park, Better 3D buildings redesign, etc.

PS5 with disc drive is on number 5 and 7 this week.

Never.
I have never touched N64 machine and controller, just only ever seen them from magazine or internet.
I have never seen the machine and controller by myself but judging from its design, it didn't look comfortable to play specific games I played on PS1 with better buttons placement and comfy controller design.
But I have GameCube controller since I played GameCube game from my Wii machine.
And GameCube controller design was still not good enough as PS2 controller after I used them.

There was the PS4 version of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5, 2.8 and 3 in physical Blu ray disc separetedly since year 2019 with cheaper price on this year so I don't need the Switch 2 version.

Is there more DLC announcement for Monster Hunter Stories 3 ?

I'm happy Boxing is featured in Sports Switch 2, but still that limited option for shirtless for Boxing....
Maybe it can be added from next updates.

I don't like the gameplay style of Punch Out even on Wii. It just Dodge and Hit style gameplay and I don't like that gameplay style.
I want something like Street Fighter style or Tekken but with Chibi looking characters.

I have Big Rumble Boxing on PS4 but the CPU level was too hard even on Rookie level and I didn't really enjoy the gameplay.

I have Gold Gym Cardio Workout on Wii, but my intention to play that game just for getting my character had shirtless boxing outfits and one of the male trainer also got shirtless option (I just only care with two male trainers Bob and Alex in that game, I have zero interest with any female trainer).
I still did the cardio workout routine from that game but that was not really my intention to play that game.

I completely banned Baki the Grappler for rated 18+ franchise.

I am not a Sonic fan, but I have a few Sonic games on PS3, 3DS, Wii, GameCube just for curiosity and I felt disappointed by the gameplay (neglected the games after that).
But I do LIKE some of Sonic instrumental songs made by YouTuber with 80's vibe.
