I have ACNH, Super Mario Odyssey, Pokemon Violet, Pokemon Sword, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe for Switch 1 games list above. I don't have any 1st party Switch 2 games yet.
Well... My LABO 1 & 3 are in attic room now. 😅 I don't feel hyped anymore but I don't want to get rid them since I have spent several hours to assemble them.
@Gs69
My PS5 games purchased have game data inside so it will be installed from the disc onto my PS5 internal storage.
I don't play AAA games with gargantuan GB size.
I mostly played kids games with smaller GB size that have game data inside the disc.
Game key card has NO game data inside and you must download the game data from eshop. In the future when the eshop get closed, you cannot download the game data anymore.
And that's the reason I'm against game key card.
I'm thinking about their fate in the future.
@hanzel
I am real human, 41 years old dude, not a bot spam.
Before I purchase the games, I have to check their medium release.
I don't even see game key card as a right product to buy for me as physical games collector so I will keep avoiding the Switch 2 version games with game key card and choose other console version instead to get proper physical games.
I'm not drinking kool aid and pretending how wonderful is game key card.
@Joeynator3000 I don't want buy digitally because I have ever purchased certain digital games from either eshop / PS Store and I never touched the games again after several minutes played them.
@ShadLink I still keep pursuing my gaming hobby. I still buy physical games for my collection. I have rights to decide which version of the games that give me more satisfaction in term of their medium to sell the games. Looking at the list above, there are some games I want to get but after seeing a lot of them are game key cards, I decided to choose the other version (PS5) because their games get proper physical release. And you can't told me to stop gaming and choose playing board games instead. You have no rights to say what I have to do.
@RiasGremory Then good for you if you don't mind with game key card, but I DON'T and I have rights to speak out my complaints about game key card. I will not buy game key card games because they are literally scam products for me as physical games collector.
My opinion, I don't even like Mario Sunshine gameplay control especially the FLUDD. It was way harder to aim the FLUDD than aiming the weapons in Ratchet & Clank games and the reason I sold my Super Mario 3D All Stars long time ago. I didn't grow up by GameCube games and I found certain 1st party GameCube games are too gimmicky for my taste after I compared with my gameplay experiences from other machines like PS1 / PS2.
Wii Sports & Sports Resort are great gimmicky Nintendo games but the Mii character body design was poor at that time compared with modern Mii games on Switch. LABO was great idea too from Nintendo, but now my LABO cardboards ended in the attic room because I have no longer desire to use them and I found the rubber rings already melted due the time.
My choice for RPG games are Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined and Monster Hunter Stories 3, but I will get them on PS5 version. Zero support from me for game key card on Switch 2 version.
I'm intrigued by Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, but I will choose PS5 version. I'm not sure with Mario Tennis Fever gimmick shots. Pokopia in game key card really pissed me off.
@charliecarrot The late adopter maybe. Nothing wrong to get PS4 very late. I bought PS3 Slim in late December 2019 and started to build my PS3 games library in year 2020.
@Kensui I believe that article got disabled comment to avoid some users talking trash about sexual orientation issue when other people celebrate the LGBTQ inclusion in Tomodachi Life.
I just only care for 3rd party KIDS games by the most with certain 1st party Nintendo games that fit for me. PS5 is still my number 1 choice, not Switch 2.
@Bolt_Strike Life SIM games can be interesting if you have interest in designing or drawing. This game type is perfect for thinker with their abstract ideas. Also, playing like in real life activities are not merely reflecting our actual daily activities. It can be delivered in whimsical way so you will not experience feeling so high until flying in the sky when you feel really excited in real life, but you can see the hilariously whimsical reaction of feeling hyped in Tomodachi Life. You will not able to do that whimsical reaction in real life, but you can make virtual character in video games have whimsical reaction. I believe you will start to smile to see that whimsical reaction, it worth to be given the credit. Designing, watch the whimsical reaction, getting engaged in funny activities, it will be engaging and fun when you try to like these stuffs.
AI is a cancer, yet in current school curriculum the students will be introduced with AI technology. I just felt this is very wrong culture of using AI.
I think people with high interest in art and designing will likely liking this game a lot since this game really requires some creativity and sense of playful to enjoy the casual activity from the game.
And the reason for me really enjoy life SIM games like The Sims, ACNH , Fantasy Life i and Tomodachi Life.
@Jayenkai ACNH and Tomodachi Life are completely different games, despite they have similarities as Life SIM games. In ACNH, you can take control of your character and do some actions from your tools, the folks are animals, it has decorating rooms like The Sims. Tomodachi Life is much like Tamagotchi style game which your Mii is your "pet", you can feed them, you can pet them, you can give them stuffs, you can make them socialize with other Mii, you type your own words to give answer to your Mii if they asked, you cannot decorate your house like The Sims style. ACNH characters just made gibberish animalese sounds while Tomodachi Life using AI voice sample like Vocaloid and they can speak with specific language settings.
I'm curious to know if the game will be universally same like ACNH regardless of your region, so it will be counted as 1 island for 1 machine. So if you want 2nd island, you need to get another copy of the game and machine.
I watched the UK Direct and saw Bubbles.
But, Hugh Morris looked more appealing to me than Bubbles as I'm not a fan of Afro wig like that.
Clown looked better with Jester hat in my opinion.
I can see I will draw Hugh Morris as Boxing Pierrot with my hand drawing.
Also, are USA and UK have different representation of portraying clown looking?
I still curious to know about clothing because we can design our outfits like Animal Crossing, indicates the outfits are separated into different categories (Top, Bottom, Shoes, socks, accessories, etc)
So far I rated 8 from 10 because I still don't see the Concert Hall yet.
If there is Concert Hall to perform custom lyrics singing like 3DS version, I will rated 9 from 10.
So the cover will be universally same for all region, unlike 3DS version? Looks good. $60 is quite pricey but I must get the game DAY ONE because I knew how rare is the game just like the 3DS version when you buy the game late.
Well, at least we still able to take screenshot from our machine then manually transfer with micro SD card reader. I wonder if there is a kiosk like in ACNH which you can access custom design from other player and it requires NSO $20 to access the feature.
Well, we got some unexpected visitors here. Anyway, I wonder if there will be different version of the game cover like 3DS version. Moreover, will the game universally same regardless of your cartridge region, just like ACNH?
I still curious to see and know from this game. 1. How many Mii we can put in the island? 2. How big is the size of our island? 3. Is there limitation in putting the trees and stuffs on our island? 4. Can the same gender couples have baby? 5. What stuffs we can put the design? 6. Is there Theatre for singing like 3DS version?
@somnambulance Tomodachi Life is more like Tamagotchi style game which you treat your Mii like pets, you can give them house, you can feed them, you can "pet" them, you can drag them with touch screen, you can interact with them, you watch your Mii interact with other Mii depend on their personality, you do quirky activities,

It's same also from other gamers who looking at common genre games as uninteresting stuffs.
I'm not sure this Direct (especially for Switch 2 which I still feel disappointed with it currently) will change my mind. There are a lot of questions about this games that I want to know. 1. Will we get pre-made room with fixed furnitures like 3DS version or we can decorate Mii room freely like The Sims? 2.
