Re: Rumour: GameCube Revival Planned For Nintendo Switch Online

@sovereign2186 We had solutions for the Sunshine port in 3D Allstars, and don't forget the Gamecube adapter for Smash. Even if the current one won't work, I'm sure Sakurai will go to the trouble of having another one made for Switch 2 since the difference between wired and wireless controllers in fighting games in a big one.

@8bit-Man I suspect there'll be a lot they can't really remake like Eternal Darkness or Twin Snakes since the developer is no more. Hell, I believe the source code for Melee is lost so the ROM might be the only option.

SEGA might not want to put resources into remastering the likes of Skies of Arcadia Legends, Billy Hatcher or more, same with a lot of developers too. Just license out the ROM to Nintendo for a good sum, job done.

Re: Physical Game Sales Took A Nosedive In The UK Last Year

My only new releases last year were Marvel Vs Capcom Collection (Physical Switch import) and Sonic X Shadow Generations (£26 on Amazon over Xmas). A lot of my gaming has been the backlog which has been a joy.

Besides whatever the Switch 2 might bring, I don't see myself being in a rush to buy many games at launch this year either.

Re: Sega Delisting 'Mega Drive Classics' On Switch eShop This December

Hear me out, instead of just another Mega Drive Collection SEGA, how about getting in touch with Digital Eclipse to do a SEGA Collection in the same vain as Atari 50 and Tetris Forever?

Games from every SEGA Hardware and Arcade, Interviews, complete company history and all the bells and whistles....

....but it's more likely another 50 Mega Drive ROMs Collection in a cart isn't it?

Re: SNK Announces ACA NEOGEO Selection Vol. 1 And Vol. 2 For Switch

What an odd selection of titles. Random sequel choices in no particular order.

Cool if you want a physical version of these titles on Switch, but I honestly love how even the most obscure NEO GEO Titles barely anyone knows are purchasable on Switch and other systems digitally. Compilations always seem to be the same games or don't sell well enough to do a volume 2-3 in every region.
