This is in line with that digital game sharing thing they announced last week. Except now they're also making "physical" games worse.

Whoever is bringing up these bad ideas at Nintendo just needs to stop.

Just preordered the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle from JB Hi Fi for $769 AU. Can't wait until June 5.

It was good to see more of Metroid Prime 4 Beyond, and the Pac Man game. There were a few games that I'd get when they're on sale such as the new Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi Life games.

The restrictions on digital games sharing disguised as a fun new feature was a pretty big turn off for me, and I don't have much interest in the Nintendo Today app as I already go to other sites to get info on new games and movies etc.

Overall I don't think it was worth staying up to 1:30am for.

I currently have multiple family member's accounts on my Switch.
I can download any game they have purchased onto my Switch.
I can play any game I have downloaded on my Switch using any account on my Switch.
I haven't tried playing a game purchased on one account on multiple Switches at the same time so I don't know if there are currently any limitations on that. 🤷‍♂️

The new method wants to change that...

From what I understand the new method wants to lock purchased games to one primary game console.
It wants to make it so you can "lend" it to one other secondary console for 2 weeks...

If how I understand this is correct then it seems like they are limiting the existing system for how we access and share digital games with our family members, and I am not happy about it.

After listening to the sound bite from the Game File article it turns out I've been saying it right all along. 😁

I've got enough Nano Block Pokemon that I don't really care for Lego versions.

I was thinking about it and there might need to be a new NES/Famicom NSO controller since the current ones with rails on them wouldn't work for long on the Switch 2 unless you charged them up on a Switch or recharging stand.

Whenever I get trade requests I have no idea what they want to trade for, so something that tells me what card they want would be useful.

Also it'd be good if you could exchange shinedust for pack points so you can get the rarer cards or other cards you're missing.

It'd be cool if it had a screen that rolled out like the rollable phones.
Also I've got to try those buttons.

The Japanese one doesn't read well. The bright light and logo makes it hard to see the card underneath at first glance (it took me a while to realise it was a pokemon card and not just a weird picture of a pokeball). The varied energy ball sizes are good though, but overall it looks like a cluttered mess.

The international one looks boring but at least you can clearly see the pokemon card logo. It's a bit annoying that there's another pokemon card on it too.

Overall I'm going for the US/EU version

I liked really Castlevania Lords of Shadow, but I didn't enjoy it sequels that much.
I love the ones like Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood.
My favourite one is Harmony of Despair on the 360 because of the multiplayer so you could team up to beat bosses and the whole castle being on the screen with different paths to the treasure and bosses.

I liked drawing hints for how to get collectables in a level, or taking a screenshot then writing or drawing a funny caption for it.
That's what I miss about Miiverse, and I'd be ecstatic if they brought it back or did a new version of it.

If they're going with this design for DK in the games where he's a guest character, then they're going to have to make a new Donkey Kong game with this art style.

Maybe Lego will announce a Lego Switch 2 set before Nintendo officially reveals the Switch 2.

I'd like something like pictochat or miiverse. I used to love drawing pictures and posting them to other people and see other people's drawings.

It'd be nice if they let you use the music for ringtones.

It's Side Scroller. A game where you have to scroll through the level using the Switch 2's Hall Effect Shoulder Scroller Buttons.

I'd like them to do Harmony of Despair on modern consoles. I enjoy the multiplayer in that one and the whole levels being one big castle that the boss can chase you around in.

It's one of my favourite Castlevanias, but the 360 version is basically dead unless you coordinate friends to play with online.

So Nintendo essentially patented fishing and flying on mounts. How the hell did they get away with that?

It'd be cool if it was a volumetric display, and this was Nintendo's first steps into hologram technology or something.

With the 3D print the Joycons were too tall so I'm not convinced it's real. That and the weird blocks sticking out beneath the rear triggers doesn't seem refined enough for retail.

Well get to work on a Game Design Document laying out the direction you want these sequels to go and present it to Capcom along with evidence that people will want to play a sequel to these franchises. I mean that's got to have a better chance of working than filling out a comment in a survey.

@Teksetter @Atariboy The physical standard edition is available from Australia as well from either JB Hi Fi or EB Games. JB's a couple of bucks cheaper.

I pre ordered the English deluxe set and bought the japanese controllers since they were the only things I wanted from the Japanese version that weren't already in the English version.

I like that it's got local multiplayer.

I think the Japan one would have been better with a blue background because it could've looked like a blueprint and Maxwell's head wouldn't blend into the background.

The third version games just made me feel bad for getting the earlier version games. I never double dipped for them.

Ow! Everything looks so big, flat and zoomed in it hurts my eyes.
It's a shame because if it was zoomed out a little and the UI was a bit smaller I'd be all over this game.

I don't see Phantom Pain or Ground Zeroes running on Switch. So I think vol 2 might skip the Switch entirely.

I'd like the switch's sucessor to be backwards compatible with the switch and for the game's I've bought on my account to be brought over to the new system, like how xbox does it with their systems.

Give it some cheeks to grip and a low price point (under $250) and I'll pick one up.

I didn't know about the back jumping skip in Donkey Kong. I only knew about climbing down the bottom right ladder from playing NES Remix
