I did enjoy the Dragon Quest XI demo. It took 10 hours so I'm picking that.

The vertical box art of the japanese one puts me off, but I do like the different artwork.
The artwork on the North American one is way too close to the left and looks like some of it's cropped off.
My pick is the Pal version due to the location of the artwork and the blue box.

I got it before the takedown and in Hotline Miami 2 there's an option to skip any scenes depicting sexual violence. I don't get why they don't have locked on for the Australian version if that's the only problem?

Boy do I know what it's like buying multiple 3ds's I bought 4 of them. None of them ever broke or had anything wrong with them, I just wanted the upgraded versions of the system.

First one I bought was the blue launch 3ds on the 3ds launch day. I had that one for ages and eventually sold it complete with everything, original box, cords and ar cards to my friend for $50 (not that he actually paid me the full amount but whatever 😤)
The second one I bought was the Link Between Worlds Zelda 3ds XL. This one was probably my favourite 3ds. I love the black and gold colour scheme and the triforce on it doesn't fade off (unlike a certain film like cover on my brother's Majora's Mask edition).
The third 3ds I bought was the white New 3ds when it was only available in Japan and Australia. The faceplates were cool (I had a bunch of different ones but eventually settled on the black Zelda back plate and a custom SNES sticker one over a cheap white top cover). I liked the fact that everything ran better on it, but I kinda preferred the circle pad pro with it's big shoulder buttons and circle pad compared to the tiny nub above the face buttons.
My fourth and final 3ds is the pal version New 3ds XL SNES Edition. The system itself just looks so damn cool and I did miss the bigger screens, especially when Smash Bros came out.

Anyway I think that if you play in handheld mode a lot and the better battery is really important to you then go for the new Switch SKU. Otherwise be like me and hold off for the pro version.

Get'em to fix the d-pads on the pro controller while they're at it.

Preordered the white Japanese one this morning. God I hope the UI and games can be played in english.

Super Mario Party isn't on sale on the Australian eshop. I was going to pick it up because my friend lost my copy. 😤

In Melbourne we've got a Nintendo Experience store in the city above an EB Games, but I haven't been yet so I don't know if that's like a Nintendo store or not?

Got my first Tetris Maximus today. So it only took me 3 games to unlock the theme. 😄

I have all the amiibo except the gold and silver monster hunter ones and the gold megaman 11 amiibo. Even the normal and dark version Skylander ones with vehicles. 😁

But I don't have the cards or the cereal box. 😔

@RainbowGazelle That's what I'm doing (except in my case it'll be Japan and Australian editions). Got one pre ordered from EB Games and the Japanese one pre ordered from Nin Nin Game since they'll actually deliver to my house.

Wait so the japan one has 6 face buttons and the western one only has 3. No fair.

It wasn't bad. They just need some devs on board to go into more detail about the games, a presenter to be the face of State of Play, and maybe a surprise reveal at the end to get people talking. It was an alright first go and I think they'll improve in future presentations.

So is Doak pronounced as one syllable or two? I've heard it as dough-ack, but the way I say it rhymes with oak.
