Just from this trailer it's ticking a bunch of boxes for me.

I just hope later they could add PC Engine/ Turbo Grafx games like they did on the Wii and bring out controllers (maybe ones with rails like the NES controllers) for those systems.
Although if they did that we might be in for another price hike.

@MichaelP you can even recreate the bowser fight in a microwave if you have a mario and a bowser figurine.

Hey it's not the retro future this time. Looks like Elliot has some competition for making Gameboys with too many screens.

I'm hoping it's either an N64 controller for N64 switch online games or a Gameboy Classic Edition.

But it could either be the Joycon with an angled top like in the patent from ages ago or a headset/headphones.

It'll most likely be nothing due to it being a rumor.

I'm kind of more excited about the games that weren't shown in the direct but were announced to be coming to the switch by developers during the day.

Namely Super Sami Roll (a 3D platformer where you're a lizard who rolls around, collects stuff and tries to finish a level quickly), and Ex-Zodiac (Basically Star Fox with a better frame rate)

I'm looking forward to Critadel, Akurra, Super Sami Roll and Ex-Zodiac.

How does it compare to a wii u controller?

I'd like a new iteration DS model that is exclusively hand held and can actually fit in your pocket.

I don't carry bags around anymore so I only use the switch at home and I'd like something I can take out with me.

Ideally it would have decent graphics like 720-1080p and be backwards compatible with DS and 3DS games even if it doesn't do 3D.

Even if it had a chain and brakes, I'd be worried it would snap in half where the pedals are because it's missing the support bar above the pedals.

It still looks really cool though.

Maybe it was an OLED Switch like how he had a Series S in the background before that was announced.

Really shouldn't cost $70-$114 AUD more than the current Switch. It's got the Pro cost without the performance upgrade.

How I see it:
With the pokemon battle shots, the old one the trainer has a better pose, but worse backpack. The colours are IMO better and not as washed out as the new version. The new one his hat looks like a fuzzy sticker slapped onto his head at a wierd angle after the picture was taken.

In the old pokeball throw the guy is too shiny, but the Pokeball looks beautiful, and the background is sharp. The new one the character model is definitely better with eyebrows in a better position, but the grass is hard to see because how blurry the background is and the shine on the Pokeball just looks wrong.

Overall I don't think I'd call it an improvement due to how blurry they've made it, but you're all more than welcome to disagree with me.

I play docked mode 95% of the time and this adds no performance improvements, so I think I'll skip this one.

Mum threw mine out ages ago because it was dusty... Luckily she couldn't find the games and we ended up replacing it later, but we never let her live it down.

Should just do a rollback to 12.0.2 or whatever the last stable build was and release it as 12.0.4 until they can fix the issues.

Just makes me think if they did the 2 screen version it could've had the DS games. 😭

It's like a cross between Jimmy Neutron and a monkey.

Shame they didn't they do this with Zelda, Mario or Donkey Kong.

I hope it has Donkey Kong (young Cranky) and Donkey Kong Jr in it, and that Jr gets his DK tie at the end of it.
