Re: Review: Dragalia Lost - A Deep And Rewarding Smartphone RPG That Might Just Surprise You

I loooove this game. This is the first time I've played this type of game and it's taking up nearly all of my gaming time. My second fave games are Pokemon Go and Destiny 2. Both of those are on the backburner due to this game. I love the artwork. At first I balked at all the currency and different stats but that's what makes it engaging--I can focus on grinding my EXP, get bored of that then work on weapons next or on unlocking abilities. Yes it's like a store disguised as a game but it's easy to get by without spending any real money. Just last night, the director of the game gave every player some free goods after updating on things that they hope to improve on the game. The developers really seem to care about the player's opinions and it makes sense--it makes any investment that I make on the game with time or money meaningful. Now I wish we can see Dragalia Lost on the Switch or the cool characters in other games.

I'm thoroughly hooked!!! The current event has a raid where four players have their characters take down a boss. It's crazy fun watching 16 characters go at it on a big volcanic dragon. I happily spent money on it after I found myself really enjoying all the different tasks. Even if I eventually quit playing months from now, I've really had a blast. Halloween event starts in 5 days!!!

Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 6.0.0 Is Now Live

Ugh...Streaming services like Netflix or Spotify are fine since we have the option to buy copies of movies/songs that we can own and enjoy without any internet connection. It's going to suck if Nintendo decides to put their subscription game offerings in rotation. What if I feel like playing Metroid six months from now but the game gets pulled out of rotation? Now if they dumped tons of games on there with the promise of never rotating them out I MIGHT bite.

Re: The Virtual Console Isn't Coming To Switch, Nintendo Confirms

Not bothered anymore--time is precious with all the options out there. If I don't have the option of playing a certain NES game I'll play a cool PS1 game instead or watch a good movie. Nintendo wants a piece of the pie but they also want to dictate when and how to eat the pie. At that point, we eat donuts from someone else instead.

Re: The Next Wave Of ACA Neo Geo Titles For Switch Is Confirmed

I looove Spinmaster--I've been looking forward to more of the NeoGeo sidescrollers to come out (there seems to be a lot of focus on the fighting and shoot-em-ups). Sidescrollers were great because the stages would have cool backgrounds and enemies. I miss games like Joe and Mac, Adventure Island, etc.

Re: Poll: Are You Excited About the Super NES Classic Edition?

I'm absolutely against this. This gives Nintendo no incentive to properly release SNES titles as Virtual Console options on the Switch. I hate how they can keep re-releasing this for decades by playing with supply and demand. I really want to play games like Super Metroid--not play games like waiting in long lines or hunting down over-priced options online. This is why they haven't said anything about the Virtual Console options on the Switch. They will release this baby to much fanfare in 2017, sell it out, and when the dust settles, all of the titles (SNES and NES) will magically be available Summer 2018 on the Switch via subscription or individual sales--pleasing Nintendo shareholders.
