@RainbowGazelle when did you buy something from gamestop the last time?

They already closed all stores last year in Germany.
But it has it's benefits, maybe more of those few Gamestop customers are now going to proper game stores.

@FrenchVaniIIuxe this is a total bs take... ai sucks in many ways if you think AI is the future than you haven't digged deeper into it.
And no it's not compareable to cars and horses...

For my personal taste there are two reasons for this.
A) no heavy hitter games out nor on the horizon. the upcoming line up is mainly known and it's okish but boring.
B) game key cards
I usually buy about 20+ physical games per year... I bought 5 on switch 2 and it's a new system...

@JohnnyMind I think it's less a censorship problem and more a society problem. But I'm afraid right now america is more likely to change to the opposite, more censorship. It already started on all fronts, I'm very sorry for all the americans right now.

Guns on the other hand are totally harmless and I'm pretty sure no one ever was traumatized by any event in which guns were part of.

A much as I love nintendo games and systems, they are currently a bit too much on a high horse.
Gotten beaten by the ps5 which is more expensive(?) and older should send a sign...

I hope those new cards get a lot cheaper in their production...
game key cards ruin switch 2 for me

another reviewer mentioned they didn't add couch coop, which is a huge bummer.
with out I won't play it again...

I still have the LRG physical game for the original switch and this makes me playing this again

I know I know people are going to hate me for mentioning it but they are all will be game key cards and that sucks. not going to buy any of those even though I like some of them

I think the situation could be better but also lot worse.
MK world is sadly a bit disappointing and now we won't get a new one for the next 10 years.
DK Bananza lacked charm and was a bit too repetitive. Age of Imprisonment, drag x drive and Pkm are more of a disappointment for me... so just air riders and metroid are left. especially Metroid saves the day for me...

Also not to forget that game key cards ruin the whole generation for me.

@UltimateOtaku91 just play the original one, it aged very well and a remake would likely not make it any better.

If they do it AAA and stick to the original game (not like ff7) then there is a tiny chance it could be good.

I do not expect a lot of this game. it already looks worse than octopath 1 and 2 visually... the repeating textures, for example, are far more noticeable. It just looks a bit rough.

Man I wish square enix would always also pack the original game into their remasters... most of the time their remasters are worse than the original...

@AlonditeFE Actually the exact same thing happened with Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze.
When the game came out it got ok reviews but after the game makers toolkit video all the journalists deciced this is the best 2d platformer... rayman legenda got the far better review scores but no one would ever call this the best platformer, even worse no one cares about it anymore...

@Pat_trick most critics gave it an 8 or higher.
you can even see this on the metacritic side
only 16% gave it lower than an 8.

and tropical freeze also just got a metascore of 83 and its the best side scrolling platformer of all time...

Just keep in mind that tropical freezes metascore was also just 83 and it is now considered the best side scrolling platformer ever made.

sounds good and after playing the demo of SW outlaws, I'm very confident the game will run and look fantastic on switch 2.

and since this game is bigger than 64gb anyways, I'm also not having a problem with a game key card release, but not at launch.

I think their CRT Filters are much better now compared to the nso launch.
I only play with them

@progx sure some people don't care and simply buy a game key card but many people won't.
I can at least say that I buy usually about 20-30 game per year physicaly and I won't buy any GKC, so its very likely I just buy less games...
I actually have just 3 Switch 2 games yet and for me thats not a lot since launch of a new system

I played the game on ps 4 and don't plan to buy it again but if I would , I wouldn't know how to make enough space on my system...

zelda looks awesome but link looks a bit to feminin for my taste.
It's incredibly hard for me, to imagine a Zelda movie that is good and has real actors.
I'd prefered an animated wind waker style movie.

We don't know anything about the game and some people think the games dead already thats so incredibly stupid

@Bolt_Strike comon the previewers played like 60 minutes of the game, we still don't know anything about it. give it a chance.

@ShadLink I often complain about things but the reviewers played about an hour and in that hour that npc was just there for a certain part, I'm pretty sure the game is going to be fantastic...
Even Metal Gear has this sort of stupid humor...

It looks really well made
